BAE stands for British Aerospace.
That looks cool. The Red Arrows are our Royal Air Force display team who toured the USA and Canada in 2019. BAE are initials by the way, not an acronym, they stand for British Aerospace (BAe).

Red arrows absolutely trump the blue angels. The red arrows change their routine every year. Every time I've seen the angels its the same routine. Plus when the arrows were in the US for their tour, the massive north American Air show in Canada where all the international teams attended, all did routine and crews voted who was the best. The arrows took first place, as usual 😄
If the angels or thunderbirds would change their routines im sure opinions may change, but it gets old seeing the same every year. Thunderbirds especially are disappointing. The f16 is my favorite and they don't do it justice whatsoever

My Bae Hawk was a dude. Flew it and the T-33 3 times a piece on maiden day. The T-33 was far superior in every category. I almost called Dan at Hobby Zone to ask what they did different with the Hawk compared to the T-33 and the 50mm Viper. Instead, I banished the Hawk to the Hangar of Death. I wasn’t until a few weeks ago a member at our field started asking questions- “What are your rates?” “What size battery?” “Did you disconnect the ailerons and and elevator and manually move them up and down?” Then came the suggestion only 40 years of flying could come up with. “Increase your Throws. Sounds like you need more aileron and elevator.” Now it’s the favorite of the 50mm EDF’s.

I just ordered this! I have the Freewing 64mm F-8 and F-105. Very similar hand-launch planes, but their ailerons are tethered to the elevators so maneuvers are very limited. I also have an FMS 70mm Yak-130, but I don't think I'm ready to fly it yet, so this will be the perfect bridge.

Love this plane
Saw the Red Arrows perform at Biggin Hill three years back. Other national teams' fighters may fly faster and higher, but the pure adrenaline rush of those tiny Hawks's breaks, snaps, and merges, with absolutely no time or space to spare, puts them in a whole different league. They played the radio coms on the P.A. too, so you could hear the prefunctory and executive commands as if you were up there. I wonder if there exists a remote-activated, colored smoke dispenser that wouldn't weigh that little bird down too much.

I had the arrows mini viper, and I flew it on 4s. It was my favorite edf. Unfortunately my storage shed caught on fire a few days ago, and I lost over 100 planes. But this plane has the same power plant as the viper, so I think it would be amazing on 4s too. But I love your vids, so thanks for the time you take to make them
Oh no Kenneth!! We are very sorry to hear about your shed! Did you have AMA!? We have hear numerous times they do payout something when this happens. It’s not much in the grand scheme of things, but enough to get you back in the air!

great little flyer , I launch it on safe then switch to wind deflection stabilization and I use a 3s1500mah pack fits really good and cuts through the wind.
Does anyone know if there are restrictions around flying these?

@@TheRcSaylors its no different than someone that has hand launched mainly learnng to take off from the ground...my problem is flying many planes on same day when i was at field and not setting dual rates etc where i had it before... if you just fly same plane thats all dialed in and you know what to expect its way easier not to mess up...i never used any stabilization.. thanks for sharing

Got mine pre ordered can't wait guys get you one cuse the price will jump after a few months of it being released or discontinued like every other cheap amazing airplane there has ever been like the Eluna glider that came with sport spectrum Rx and was 100 dollars even u got three of those and it flies so well that I've only had to pull out my first one my other two are still bringing the box my first one's only got a slight scratch on it from a little bit of a whacked up landing but other than that everything is still intact with no chips or anything on it just a tiny scratch so go ahead and get this one really quick guys because I guarantee you it's going to be like that Eluna deal

I honestly didn’t know it could handle 4S, so that is great to know! Flies so well, even in wind on 3S and I’m VERY Happy with this EDF! Really glad we picked this one up! 👍😀😎⚓️
@@TheRcSaylors Its funny, these have been out for a while, but they didnt get them into reviewers hands until just recently, and everyone loves them both. Ryanmedia spoke to the HZ rep and confirmed the planes both fly on 4S, as does the Viper. I just got a couple 1500mah 4S batteries today and weather permitting I am gonna try it myself.

I am so glad to hear Nate admit he is not so good at hand launching. Every time I see him or the Best Half hand launch, I cringe. On the other hand, they rarely fail at it. Maybe my method is overkill?

Can you compare Syma S5H to older S107H?
Honestly I wouldn’t buy either of those. That is just a toy RC that can’t fly in any wind really and if the sun is shining will likely just lose control. I really don’t think you or anyone would be very happy with either of those.

As someone who is almost never able to afford a separate Tx.. it saddens me that more models don't come with the full list of options in terms of pnp, bnf, artf and rtf... said it before and must say it again, rtf allows easy entry to the hobby... I'd drop the cash on this plane in a heartbeat, if it was rtf.
You could save a lot of money by having a computer radio that holds hundreds of planes in memory.

Are you hand launching with stabilisation on or off???? How much power are you using to hand launch? Do you have any elevator trim when hand launching? Instead of just saying 'its easy to hand launch' why don't you explain what you are doing???

For a few extra dollars, I'd take the Arrows Marlin over this. The Marlin has flaps and landing gear. That's what I fly.
