    One of my all time fave planes is the SkyAngel 50mm Red Arrow!! It flew incredible and is the plane I began upgrading EDF units with! I used the Himax 50mm 4 blade with an inrunner which worked amazing! Would be great to get these new fans in these small planes! They are so much fun and easy to work with! You can throw no less than like 6 of these things in your trunk!! Gonna have to get a couple of these lil birds!!

    I like it. Its like an improved Arrows Viper. Arrows Vector stabilizer is just as good as Spektrum's SAFE, and specifically tuned for the plane it comes in.
    I want to see the T-33 too!
    Note: You never mentioned if you were flying 3S or 4S, but I'm guessing you went 3S. MANY people are flying it on 4S 1300s with no esc changes.
    On my Viper I put metallic silver duck tape around the intakes, and checkered flag duck tape on the wing leading edges. I think its saved a lot of wear. Duck tapes makes all sorts of colors and patterns, so you can often exactly match your plane.

    Great video, think I’ll have to get one. I grew up in England watching the Red Arrows at summer air shows and events, superb..!! I’d rather see some videos on the Arrows Viper 50mm than the T-33 tbh, any chance you could do both..??

    I had a problem hand launching it on 3s 2200 - it was dipping too much and I crashed it a few times. I needed more power.
    Now I fly this on Tattu 4s 2300mah. It a rocket now! After hand launching it goes up at 45 degrees angle, no dip at all.
    I had to remove some foam to place the pack far back enough. I set the timer for 7min and when I am done the cells are ~3.8V each.
    Way better then with 3S. Although its much more prone to stalling at turning right now due to added weight.

Perhaps he would not use it anyway but we do not have an option, we get what we get, bit of a shame.

      Unfortunately, the City of Orlando, where I live does not like model airplanes! They will not even let us fly at the landfill there because they are too short sighted to understand the benefit of an RC field.. they prefer to live in fear and ban all RC models.

  • @theoztreecrasher2647
    @theoztreecrasher2647 Год назад +1

    About 5.10... "and that's calibrating.." Sorry mate that's BS! What it is doing is Initializing the Gyro/Flight control unit. Many of these Chinese Stabs won't initialize unless 2 conditions are met. 1...the plane is STILL! 2...the plane is somewhere near the previously set (1-and-done) attitude/level calibration. (Wings level across and nose up at the flight attitude normally needed for Manual Mode level flight at about cruise throttle.)
    If the Gyro unit "Calibrated" for Level/Attitude at each start-up, you'd have be trimming the plane again every time you restarted it! 🙄😉

    • @RCINFORMER

      @theoztreecrasher2647 I'm still not sure what your saying BS about?

    • @theoztreecrasher2647
      @theoztreecrasher2647 Год назад

      @@RCINFORMER I thought that the first comment covered that. But if not...
      "Calibration" with regard to these Stabs is the procedure whereby the Stab's gyros are told what to consider as normal "level" flight. It is usually done by sitting the plane at the correct level across the wings and slightly nose-up then doing the prescribed button push or transmitter combination stick movements.
      Some, as possibly here, come pre-programmed for a set level and must be placed very precisely in the plane or re-programmed by a usb cable and computer with the correct software program from the manufacturer.
      With quadcopters the gyros DO quite often reset the "Level Calibration" at each start-up and thus MUST be set on a completely level surface or they will head off in odd directions when flown.
      This self-calibration at every start-up is practically never used on planes. What normally happens there is as described above. The Stab gyros Initialise (= boot up) NOT Re-calibrate Level.
