    Hello! Thanks for posting this tutorial.
    If I want to do colored bobbin do you use 60 wt thread for the bobbin? I can’t seem to find anywhere that sells colored bobbin in 90 wt.

    • @LovesBranding
      @LovesBranding  2 года назад +1

      Hi! Hope you enjoyed the video. I prefer the pre-wound bobbins but my understanding is that the bobbin thread used with these Magna-Glide ones is 60wt so that should not be an issue if you plan on winding your own to a specific color.

    • @LovesBranding

      I would test it out but it should be very similar. If its too thin, you might want to double it up. The goal is to have the material hold well while embroidering but allow it to release easily.

      I use the software that came with my Melco called design shop. If you aren't comfortable or don't have the software yet, I would ask your digitizer but be specific about the steps that are needed. 1) placement stitch, 2) tack down stitch for the twill, 3) text/design on inside, 4) outer border. You may want to add stops between step 3 and 4 so you can add the bottom twill on.

      @@TheDelightgrl The plastic sheeting is just standard 3-4mil sheeting that you can find at your local hardware store that is usually used for like painting and such. Here's an amazon link for it. amzn.to/3Y6cXKT
      No stabilizer is needed here because the twill will be the structure of the embroidery to hold everything together. The plastic acts as the stabilizer for when the embroidery is being done but can be removed afterward. If you have a design that is a lot more dense, you may need a thicker plastic sheeting as it is more likely to tear when its being worked on.
