Hey Mike & Megan, when using lettering in Inkscape for InkStitch, if you don't want to have to cut the threads between letters, Select the lettering you created, go to InkStitch / command / Attach commands to selected objects / and check Cut the thread after embroidering this object in the menu that appears; scissor icons will appear after each thread cut; you will see, it's magic! and it works for all distant objects of the same color ! Friendly your's ADS
are you guys familiar with the troubleshoot feature? it shows you where your problems are when you fail a params check! its super helpful so you dont have to check everything individually. love the videos guys! keep it up!

Got my machine 2 days ago and watched all ur videos haha. Could you make a video about making patches and then attaching them to clothing? especially for patches that are put together to create one design?

@@ProjectAnonymous_Duo Sure, what i mean by this is for example I want to put the word nike on a sweater and for this I would have to cut out each individual letter as a patch and then put them onto the sweater i want them on. Just wasn’t sure if there was an easier way around this since my machine is only 4x4
I've recently started doing embroideries with inkscape because of your tutorials ,but my first design doesn't look the same on the fabric compared to on the computer. Please Help
@@ProjectAnonymous_Duo It’s a simple fill design but on clothes it leaves empty space in different spots. And i read that if it’s not the machine it’s the design but i dont know how to fix it.
Ah, we've seen this in a few of our projects, where the path that inkstitch creates, will start at the top and work towards the middle, then stop, and go to the bottom towards the middle, and there will be (what seems like) a line missing in the middle where the two parts join... We have fixed this by either, increasing the density of our stitch (params>auto fill tab> decrease the number in "distance between spacing") or slightly changing the angle at which the fill stitches (params>auto fill tab> "angle of lines of stitches"). Play around with these two settings, until you see the results you like... unfortunately this is project dependent, so we can't recommend a particular setting for you. Hope this helps!

We actually have tried this (ruclips.net/video/GO2uRWVCHEc/видео.html) But, unfortunately trim commands don’t work on our machine.
