Great video! I just want to make people aware that buy this that it is very glitchy. I bought and installed the exact same RS Nav system and the wireless Apple CarPlay would work for 5-10 minutes before crashing. This would happen almost daily. RS Nav told me it was because of the newest iOS update. I ended up removing the system because of the frustrations with it.
That’s really odd. Besides crashing once when I started my car a couple weeks ago I haven’t had any issues at all and I’m on the most recent iOS version. I wonder if it was a one off issue with your system. I would definitely get on the RSNav Facebook group and try seeing if anyone has had similar issues and if there’s a fix. Thanks for watching!
@@TKWhips Maybe my equipment was faulty then, I'm not sure. The guy didn't seem very helpful when I asked to help me trouble shoot. He simply said it was Apples fault. I totally get that. Unfortunately, all of the aftermarket radios for our cars come from China so we really don’t have much of a choice. I recommend trying out 4x4 Canada as I almost never hear bad reviews about them like I do with rsnav. Honestly, if it wasn’t for their Black Friday sale I probably would’ve just went with 4x4.
I have a 2016 Q5 with MMI. This is a good video and the removal, cable hookup took less about half an hour. However, re-install is over 3 hours and counting! There appears to be a lot of room behind the unit but the cabling and connectors are massive. Another video shows the installer removing the glove compartment and I think I'll be doing that after multiple attempts to re-arrange the wiring to gain proper clearance for the head unit to re-seat properly. BTY, with the parking and nav in the car, all the switches are in the off position. My only disappointment with this video is glossing over putting the unit back in, no way it just slid back in unless he was very lucky, lol. Unit and all factory functions work as expected and recommend this (I bought a Carlink model from Amazon which included the keys required to remove the head unit). There were also products to replace the screen to a 10.25" that includes Carplay and such but costs 3x as much; I decided to just use this and retain the factory look.
Thanks for sharing! We installed one of those bigger head units off camera but didn’t like the way it turned out so went back to stock and just upgraded to Apple CarPlay instead. Like and subscribe for more!
I do like the idea of it. I have a 2011 bmw 328xi wagon and I’ve looked into installing apple CarPlay into my idrive. The only reason I decided not to is because I just love the way the oem infotainment system looks. Both on Audi and bmw.
I get that I especially like the performance pages that idrive offers but the best part about this CarPlay system is that I can switch back and forth with ease depending on the look I want
Great info. Just to confirm, the other functionality is still available using the console buttons like radio and jukebox as well as the cars original menu?
Yes! I retained all functionality along with still having the original menu when I installed this. That was a huge thing for me as well as I absolutely hate having any sort of dead buttons. You basically hold down the steering wheel navigation button when you want to switch back and forth from the original menu and CarPlay
How is the product holding up now? Is there any issues/bugs with it and has the provider still been active and responsive? Also how does this do with cold temperatures. Thanks and good video!
Thank you and thanks for watching! The car is actually gone now but during the time i had it it worked great! RSNav’s owner is usually very active with emails and on their facebook group so you don’t have to worry about waiting more than a day usually to get a response. The only problem that I had was that it would freeze once every month or so but holding the MMI and volume knob down until it reset always fixed it. In my opinion it was probably my favorite mod I did to the S5
Yeah it worked very well only issues were that people said that i was echoing like crazy on a call and once every few months it would freeze and id have to hold the mute button to reset it other than that it was perfect
I was wondering where did you put the box? In the glove box or just shoved it all in? Also I’m not getting any sound from my apple CarPlay it just comes from the Audi radio, and there’s no option for me to change the source to aux / ami
I just shoved it all in and it fit perfect. Audio will need to be done with 2 items. Audi mmi aux cable thats in the glove box needs to be plugged to the car only then you have to enter the green “secret menu” that can only be activated using vagcom. After that you need to head into that screen and activate mmi aux to get sound from carplay. It should also be in the RSnav instructions on how to get there
Thanks for the video, did you have any issues with loss of car functionality? I’ve experienced loss of optical parking on the MMI display and volume control on the steering wheel. A S5 2013
Hi there. I bought this product for an Audi A4 B8. I can connect my phone to it using Bluetooth and wifi but when I check carplay devises, my phone isn’t there. I can use airplay but not carplay. Any suggestions?
I would start with checking all the connections make sure there all connected properly and in the right places. If everything seems to be in order then I would contact the company you bought it from maybe they can help you or get you a new one. Hopefully that helps!
Hey there. I read somewere, that you need to have a cable connected to your AMI in your glove compartment, or you wont get any sound from the Apple carplay. I have a Audi AMI lighning cable plugged in that you use to connect your iphone and to charge it like a lightning cable, but i was told that it wont work for the sound on the Apple carplay, and would need to repalce it with a AMI MMI minijack 3.5mm, Since AUX in MMI should be set to ON. Can you confirm this, or should i be okay with the one i already have..?
So for the 3G MMI you do need an AMI to AUX adapter and I don’t think any other will work. You cannot plug the AUX side to anything at all since I believe the RSnav uses that input to be able to play sound without interference with wireless play. Basically that cable will just sit plugged in to the car with nothing plugged into the AUX side. There is, however, another method to enable the AMI to AUX without needing that cable using the green engineering menu. Head on over to the link I provide below and go to page 17-18 of the pdf document that shows how to perform the second method. Please note that if you are using the second method you need to have the green engineering menu enabled using VCDS. I have a C7 S6 now and I plan to buy an RSnav kit for this as well so I’ll make another video and hopefully remember to go more in depth. Here is the link: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1905/1643/files/ACP_interface_Installation_8593a01d-bbe6-42a7-b810-7daf9a6e5383.pdf?v=1628056281
Definitely look into buying one! Honestly this system is almost flawless just a few small bugs here and there but the guy who makes them is always on top of it and makes updates. Thanks for watching!
Hey, thanks for your video ! But I bought the same module as you and I have almost the same car as you (RS4 B8). You say that for this model, all the switches must be off, but on the instructions, you have to put On if you have bluetooth or a radar button, how did you do it?
Here is the installation link for the rsnav that I used. I went to page 9 and it showed for me to have everything in the off position but it could be different for you depending on the year of your vehicle as well. Some of the descriptions on the manual aren’t in the best English and may not be the most recent so your best bet would be to get in touch with Daniel and his team on the rsnav website. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1905/1643/files/ACP_interface_Installation_8593a01d-bbe6-42a7-b810-7daf9a6e5383.pdf?v=1628056281
Hey I just did this install. Is it just me or does the resolution look pretty bad? I'm pretty sure the OEM screen doesn't have the best resolution but text is kinda blurry on my screen when I get close.
Yeah it's not the absolute greatest quality but thats mostly due to the age of Audis mmi screen. I rarely noticed it unless I looked really close as well. As long as it’s only just a little blurry if you look close you should be fine. Otherwise, you possibly have a display cable loose
@@TKWhips Appreciate the response but how could a loose display cable (I'm assuming lvds cable) affect resolution? Cause the screen works perfectly otherwise and I don't get any flickering or anything like that
My bad not so much a display cable but one of the switches maybe put in the wrong direction? Not exactly sure as I cant see exactly what you are seeing in your car but I’m guessing since you mentioned that it looks blurry when you get close it could just be chalked up to the displays age. I do know what you mean though and having that almost helped me make a decision to just buy the 8.8” or 12.3” screen upgrade before I sold the car
does your microphone work well? Mine doesn't pick up commands when I hold down the voice button on the wheel and activate Siri. I can only use "hey Siri" and it picks it up on my phone
My microphone worked perfect on it as well as the microphone button to activate siri. Only complaint was the other end of the line could hear me echo when i talked.
You might possibly have the wrong switches flipped in the CarPlay box. If I were you I’d take the dash back apart get the box then head over to the rsnav wiki page and go through their installation instructions. In there is a picture that shows what switches need to be flipped for your specific vehicle so all functions work
Hey man, what happens if I leave my factory bluetooth on, and I play music from my phone, and use CarPlay just as “display”? Or I do have to disable factory bluetooth and switch to AUX?
Yes CarPlay has to be disconnected to use the cars bluetooth as its a full separate interface. I remember the echoing on phone calls being really bad with CarPlay so I would switch back to the normal MMI
What i would do i just disconnect on the phones settings that way itll automatically reconnect when you get calls and when you hang up it will switch right back to CarPlay so you dont have to deal with the bad echoing on phone calls
Im not sure but i think i ended up just taping them and leaving them back there. Could be for an aftermarket camera system but i would check the rsnav diagram to be 100% sure
It’s definitely a nice upgrade it makes a outdated screen look newer and cleaner. You also get to integrate your phone into your screen which is a plus because you get to use navigation, music, and etc.
Most likely it’s because you don’t have the aux input in your Audi activated. You will have to select the external audio input option located in the source tab of the media page in the Audi MMI. Once you do that you will have sound. If you don’t see the option to select the aux media then that means you will have to go into the green screen to activate it manually. Check this link out and specifically read pages 18 and 19 as they will show you what to do on the green screen to activate the aux input manually. cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1905/1643/files/RSNAV_ACP_Manual.pdf
I don’t hear any echo at all and I’ve only received one complaint about it. I have read online about echo issues but I know the creator of rsnav came up with ways to combat it
@@TKWhips ya the caller complaint about it. Updated the software still the same. Just wanna see if others having same issue as me. Looks like it's there for this module
I don’t remember my exact settings that helped with echo but that’s how it came for me from them. I would definitely check out their wiki page it should give you a lot better information
I ended up using the oem reverse camera which was bundled with all the oem and aftermarket wires so I didn’t have to worry about where any specific plugs went since it was all plug and play. If you’re referring to the aftermarket camera rsnav sells that’s a different story and I recommend you get in touch with them about it if that’s the route you plan to take
Hello, I have done the same but when activating cayplay, sound of my radio keeps playing. The screen is working fine but I don’t have sound. Any ideas? Audi a4 b8.5 2014 with mmi3g plus
I would go through the video again make sure everything is hooked up the way it is in the video if it still doesn’t work I’d contact the company you bought it from and they should be able to help you further with it. Thanks I hope that helps.
Is there any decrease in sound quality going thru CarPlay? & Can you still adj EQ and Surround in the regular MMI menu too? Definitely looks like it’s worth the buy.
It actually technically doesn’t replace the MMI but instead just adds a new function to it so basically it’ll usually start up CarPlay/AndroidAuto on its own but if you want to adjust any EQ settings or just use the OEM mmi in general all you have to do is hold the navigation button on your steering wheel for 3 seconds and it’ll take you back. No decrease in sound quality at all from what I’ve noticed so far. Definitely worth the money man!
Yep as soon as it’s in reverse it switches over to the OEM camera right away. You’ll notice if you have an automatic that it’s pretty sensitive so even if you’re just going from P to D or back it’ll switch quickly between the CarPlay and the Audi mmi since you’re passing reverse. I can see that being considered a downside but I don’t mind too much. Thanks for watching!
Can android auto be attached to this and does the android auto wires come with it? ( I have a late 2012 a4 black edition with MMI satnav built in) Thanks
I would email rsnav and confirm with them but I’m sure that android auto is wireless as well. The unit they sell works with both android auto and Apple CarPlay so you shouldn’t have issues just make sure you select your right model when purchasing
Hi all, I have an issue with this, when I’m connected everything main console doesn’t work and there is two silver buttons that flash red, any idea how I can solve it Thanks you 🙏
The two silver buttons flashing red is just an error letting you know that the car does not have the OEM screen so that should not be a problem. As for the mmi not working, are you 100% certain that your cables are tight back there? I know that the large snap cable back there is very tricky and will fool you into thinking it’s fully in place. Also, i suggest joining the RSNAV group on facebook. The owner of the company is very responsive on there if you still have issues.
I think you should have connected the USB cable for updates. Also, leave all the switches off for Q5, just in case someone is watching this for guidance.
Good catch! I didn’t notice that I was incorrect with my statement on the switches so I added the wiki to the description in case anyone else needed help. And I’ll probably end up installing the usb cable sometime soon it was just really late at that point and I didn’t want to sit there fiddling with it. Thanks for watching!
@@TKWhips There are a couple of holes under the climate control panel that you can pass a USD type c through and plug in into the female USB that came with the unit. That will give you a cleaner installation. When an update is available, couple the USB C with a usb adapter, it's under $5 on ebay. I hope am making sense.
2014 and yeah in stock form its a bit lackluster but once you tune it at least stage 1 it really wakes the car up. Once you go dual pulley and some other bits its a completely different animal
I never ended up using the wired CarPlay and just shoved it in the back of the system since I already had a usb-c port in my car for charging but I’m sure it’ll work as I can’t think of anything else that would use that port
Hi, i have a problem... Ordered my rsnav on their website and got it shipped to belgium in 3 days. unpacked it and tried to install it on my audi S4 avant B8 from 2009 this afternoon using your video but apparently i don't have the big black square quadlock connector. Can't find it anywhere behind my radio unit in the dashboard. Could it be that i don't have it because i have the B&O soundsystem with a 6 cd changer build in above the climate control unit? Do you know if there is a way to fix my problem? Great video btw... :)
That’s very odd. I also have the B&O sound system and from what I’ve seen online every car has the quad lock connector behind the radio. Your best options right now would be to either contact him by email or post on his Facebook page. He is very active and always replies pretty quick so you should be able to get an answer. If you decide to post to his Facebook group page make sure to include photos so he can get a better understanding of the issue you are having. You could also search through the rsnav wiki page but I just scrolled through it and I couldn’t find any information on vehicles without a quad lock. Thank you for watching!
@@TKWhips maybe i am looking in the wrong place? It should be located above the ac unit? On the back side of the part where i can choose between comfort, individual, dynamic. And that is connected to the 6cd changer...
Yes that’s exactly where it should be located. Its right next to most of the other plugs that power video and navigation etc. It’s pretty hard to miss considering how large it is so if you think you don’t have it then you could be right and it could be a different set up for your car.
@@TKWhips i have a b&0 amp in the trunck on the left side, attatched to the amplifier is an other part of the mmi apparently and attached to that There is an audi dvd reader for the navigation Maybe the quadlock is located somewhere there, but then my cables are to short to go to the ac unit Thanks for the help :)
Yes it should work without any issues. If you visit the rsnav website it’ll give you a drop down menu to select your car and mmi type. So far I’m loving it and it’s given the interior a way more modern look!
So the radio unit itself would have to stay but you can remove the display if you replace it with one of the larger ones that is sold one the rsnav website
Honestly I haven’t noticed too much of a difference in audio and they paired perfectly with the speakers. If anything it’s gotten just a little bit better. Even if it’s just for the UI it’s 100 times better than Audis MMI and it really helps modernize the car. Let us know if you have any other questions!
You should be able to but that’s not a question I can answer unfortunately lol. I would contact the company you bought the CarPlay from and ask them. Sorry, I hope this helps!
I actually sold it about a year or so after this but it worked flawlessly up until then. Only issue was probably that talking on the phone through Bluetooth didnt sound great to the other party
Yes! Go to Rsnav.com and and select the Apple car play. After that the websites page will ask you to describe what exact options and model you have so they can make sure it’ll work with yours. They also have a page on the website which helps you find out which exact mmi you have

I have a 2011 Audi A4 with the navigation/ MMI system. However, one day it conked out completely (no display, no back up cam, can't check tire pressure, oil level etc.) so I took it to my local dealer. Their diagnosis say the 5F module needs to be replaced and the total repair bill was around $4800 (I have the print out in my glove box still). To me, nearly $5000 to get the MMI system working again is ludicrous. Will this system (the one in this video) work on my car even if it currently has no display at all for any of the MMI functions? Or does that 5F module have to be replaced and THEN purchase the unit shown in this video. Thank you.
That’s a really good question. I do not know exactly if it would work but I would definitely get on the audizine forums and inquire about that. Now if it comes down to you having to fix that issue I HIGHLY recommend calling up other dealers and local indie shops that work on European cars so you can find a better deal because $5,000 sounds like a rip off.
I sent an email to the company that made the replacement system you featured in this video. The response was that my broken 5F module will have to be replaced. It was suggested to buy it from a salvage yard or E-Bay. According to the person that emailed me, he said the replacement 5F module and his replacement system should be under $500. Only problem is I am clueless on how to do anything with a car. I think I would have a 100% failure rate if I even attempted to replace the 5F unit by myself and then try to install this new unit. I wish there was a local place that could get me a salvaged 5F unit, sell me the unit you have & install it for me. I guess I'll start looking around. Thanks again for your reply.
Anytime! If you end up buying a CarPlay device you can email us at tkwhips262@gmail.com and we can help you install it. The 5F module should be pretty simple to install just make sure you have interior trim tools so you don’t scratch any of the leather
Yes! And the best part is that nothing had to be changed or modified to make it work. After putting it in everything worked as if it was from the factory
The red screen is pretty dated and since it’s so small I don’t think RSnav creates anything to supplement that size so the best option would be to find a full radio replacement instead
I don’t think any of their versions are touchscreens however I could be wrong. Regarding updates, I haven’t updated mine at all since I got it and it’s been working perfectly fine. I believe to update it you need to plug a usb stick into the CarPlay module and use the steps located on the rsnav wiki

Does it turn on when you turn the car on or have to select it every time ?
A few seconds after the car turns on and connects to my phone it comes up on its own and it takes about 5 or so seconds
does your microphone work well? Mine doesn't pick up commands when I hold down the voice button on the wheel and activate Siri. I can only use "hey Siri" and it picks it up on my phone
My microphone worked perfect on it as well as the microphone button to activate siri. Only complaint was the other end of the line could hear me echo when i talked.
I’m so jealous! I don’t know why but mine doesn’t /:
Do you have any tips or ideas as to why mine doesn’t work?
@@TKWhips Thanks for reply.
So if I use carplay, I should turn off cars bluetooth and switch to AUX.
What i would do i just disconnect on the phones settings that way itll automatically reconnect when you get calls and when you hang up it will switch right back to CarPlay so you dont have to deal with the bad echoing on phone calls
@@TKWhipsOkay. Thanks man!
One more question, do you remember those two wires you show on 3:50, what are they for?
Im not sure but i think i ended up just taping them and leaving them back there. Could be for an aftermarket camera system but i would check the rsnav diagram to be 100% sure
hey i have a audi a4 2011 and wanna do the same thing and was wondering is it really worth it?
It’s definitely a nice upgrade it makes a outdated screen look newer and cleaner. You also get to integrate your phone into your screen which is a plus because you get to use navigation, music, and etc.
@@TKWhips thank you bro
Hello, just install today. Everything works, but i don't have sound. Do you know what's the problem? Thanks
@@TKWhips Thank you. I will check this tomorrow.
Does this allow for music playing ? Or only navigation and phone calls?
Yes it also allows you to play music
hey, do u get the impression of strong echo feedback when speaking on the phone thru bluetooth?
I don’t hear any echo at all and I’ve only received one complaint about it. I have read online about echo issues but I know the creator of rsnav came up with ways to combat it
@@TKWhips ya the caller complaint about it. Updated the software still the same. Just wanna see if others having same issue as me. Looks like it's there for this module
I don’t remember my exact settings that helped with echo but that’s how it came for me from them. I would definitely check out their wiki page it should give you a lot better information
@@TKWhips thanks. Keep me updated! Appreciated man!
Quick question, where can i plug the reverse camera for this interphase. I am legit curious about it. I have never seen where it gets plugged
Does CarPlay connect when you use the usb?
@@TKWhips Thanks for the post. Last question lol. Back up camera still pops up when you put in reverse, right?
Yep as soon as it’s in reverse it switches over to the OEM camera right away. You’ll notice if you have an automatic that it’s pretty sensitive so even if you’re just going from P to D or back it’ll switch quickly between the CarPlay and the Audi mmi since you’re passing reverse. I can see that being considered a downside but I don’t mind too much. Thanks for watching!
Can android auto be attached to this and does the android auto wires come with it?
( I have a late 2012 a4 black edition with MMI satnav built in)
Thanks
I would email rsnav and confirm with them but I’m sure that android auto is wireless as well. The unit they sell works with both android auto and Apple CarPlay so you shouldn’t have issues just make sure you select your right model when purchasing
Hi all, I have an issue with this, when I’m connected everything main console doesn’t work and there is two silver buttons that flash red, any idea how I can solve it
Thanks you 🙏
The two silver buttons flashing red is just an error letting you know that the car does not have the OEM screen so that should not be a problem.
@@TKWhips thank you 🙏 I did check everything an now works
Glad we could help like and subscribe!!!
Planning on doing something similar to mine, is it sill going strong at this point?
I actually sold the vehicle late October but up until then it was perfect I’d say it froze once or twice in that entire time I’ve owned it
Is that a 2015 Audi s5? If so I’m wondering what you think about the performance on it (fast)?
2014 and yeah in stock form its a bit lackluster but once you tune it at least stage 1 it really wakes the car up. Once you go dual pulley and some other bits its a completely different animal
@@TKWhips how much u running rn?
Hp*
Well i sold it about 8 months ago but i want to say i was around 450 wheel at that time with dual pulley e40 stage 2+ tune
Does it work when you just use the usb instead of Bluetooth?
@@TKWhips i have a b&0 amp in the trunck on the left side, attatched to the amplifier is an other part of the mmi apparently and attached to that There is an audi dvd reader for the navigation
Maybe the quadlock is located somewhere there, but then my cables are to short to go to the ac unit
Thanks for the help :)
@@jarnovanavondt Hi, did you find the connector ?
Do you still have this car play and if so how’s it going?
Unfortunately I sold the car a couple months back with the CarPlay but towards the end it still worked perfectly
So this should work for a 2011 S5? They should be pretty much the same internally I believe I’m trying to make some upgrades in my car as well
Yes it should work without any issues. If you visit the rsnav website it’ll give you a drop down menu to select your car and mmi type. So far I’m loving it and it’s given the interior a way more modern look!
@@TKWhips hell yeah bro thanks appreciate the info
Does anyone know if the system still takes a minute to boot up or is the boot up time reduced
I’ve never had any boot up issues it’s usually instant for me
awesome video just did mine on 13 RS5 works perfect!!
Glad you like it! I plan on buying an rsnav for as long as I’m buying Audis
Nice. Could you remove your radio unit and just install the CarPlay module?
So the radio unit itself would have to stay but you can remove the display if you replace it with one of the larger ones that is sold one the rsnav website
How’s the Audio? Do the speakers pair well?
Honestly I haven’t noticed too much of a difference in audio and they paired perfectly with the speakers. If anything it’s gotten just a little bit better. Even if it’s just for the UI it’s 100 times better than Audis MMI and it really helps modernize the car. Let us know if you have any other questions!
Am I able to hook up after market amps to the main deck tho lol
You should be able to but that’s not a question I can answer unfortunately lol. I would contact the company you bought the CarPlay from and ask them. Sorry, I hope this helps!
@@TKWhips no worries 😉
Any update after using it for 3 years?
I actually sold it about a year or so after this but it worked flawlessly up until then. Only issue was probably that talking on the phone through Bluetooth didnt sound great to the other party
Am I still able to use this if my car doesnt have built in mmi nav
You should be able too. On the rsnav website they allow you to enter the model of your car to make sure it fits
Does this work if I don’t have the navigation package on my car 😅
Yes! Go to Rsnav.com and and select the Apple car play. After that the websites page will ask you to describe what exact options and model you have so they can make sure it’ll work with yours. They also have a page on the website which helps you find out which exact mmi you have
Hey, did your car have inbuilt Bluetooth for this to work?
No I don’t use the cars bluetooth anymore since the CarPlay box has its own Bluetooth module
@@TKWhips but do you need inbuilt Bluetooth to install this
No you don’t need it as the CarPlay module has it
Do you have a link for the radio removal key tool?
Here is the link to the keys www.ebay.com/itm/163907294302?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=814gKzJyS86&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=angg_VEHQUe&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
What year is this car!!?
It’s a 2014
Will this work with a a4 b4 2015 quattro
Yea it should work when you order it you put your vehicles make, model, year, etc.
What if my car does not have the NAV button? How do I activate the system?
I honestly couldn’t answer that. They have a faq sheet on their site that should help explain for you
@@TKWhips Thanks for the vid tho. Quick and simple.
Very informative!
Does Spotify work on it?
Thats more of an app inside car play and android auto but yes it works.
Does the backup cam still work?
Yes! And the best part is that nothing had to be changed or modified to make it work. After putting it in everything worked as if it was from the factory
Will this work on a 2012 B8 S4?
Yep it should work with no issues. When you go on the rsnav website it lets you select your exact model and mmi type so you’ll know it fits
I want a radio like this for my 2008 Audi A4 can you please help me
I have a red screen
The red screen is pretty dated and since it’s so small I don’t think RSnav creates anything to supplement that size so the best option would be to find a full radio replacement instead

With CarPlay the answer and decline buttons show up right on screen so you can choose from there or you could use your phone to do so as well

I don’t think any of their versions are touchscreens however I could be wrong. Regarding updates, I haven’t updated mine at all since I got it and it’s been working perfectly fine.
