Beterbiev won for me. Bivol was under pressure all night even in those rounds that he won. Bivol himself said Artur punched so hard that his own hands caused the bruises. Artur won the last 3 rounds imo which gave him the fight. By the end of the fight, Artur looked like he can go another 5 rounds easy while Dmitry was dead tired. The right guy won imo but no way 116-112 that is a horrible card
Bivol has a permanent fan in me. He clearly won a very close fight, got robbed and remained class in the interview. Dmitry is a true warrior, master boxer and obviously great person. He knew he was hitting gloves most of the night. His own corner told him he was losing and needed a KO. Even Frank Warren, even though he claims to be neutral, thought bivol won and we know his relationship with Eddie Hearns who was in team Bivol.

Arthur was strong, persistent and on the front foot but he was not dominating the fight at all. He was just threatening throughout the fight due to his power. Beterbiev was willing to take a few punches as long as he could land a few on Bivol's head, same could not be said in Bivol's situation. Bivol need a perfect game to win, that's a really tough thing to do. Berbetiev won that fight 7-5. he landed the much heavier shots and pressured through out the fight. The rounds that bivol won were close but the rounds arthur won were much more convincing. The dazn broadcast wanted bivol to win that's why they kept showing only bivol replays. Bivol covered up and was going backwards for a lot of the fight.

Come on man,I m a huge Beterbiev fan and I believe that 3 years ago Beterbiev would have won convincingly but in this fight he clearly got outboxed he landed some hard shots but not enough and I honestly believe he was hurt more than Bivol. Bivol took some rounds off and he was also hurt sometimes no doubt about it but he won that fight convincingly he could have been more active sometimes but That's not how he works ,sometimes he is giving a round so he can save some energy to win the next 2 rounds ,he clearly did that here because he felt he was winning, Beterbiev felt he was loosing and his corner felt they lost also
@@hiitman9637 please go back and watch the fight again. the reason why bivol was going backwards was because arthur power was putting him there. That's why he didn't fight like he did aganist canelo. arthur was landing the more hurtful and forcing him back. bivol did well when he was in centre but he only did that for a few rounds where he stood his ground.

@@gnosticari For me it was very much a Hagler v Leonard , scenario . Bivol fought well , but for me he flattered to deceive , the majority of his punches didn’t even register with Beterbiev. Beterbiev will probably in the gym right now I’d hazard a guess Bivol will still be getting checked at hospital . Beterbiev deserved it , in a close fight .

This was competitive but turned into a beatdown towards the end, Bivol clearly couldn't take the power of Artur or his pressure.
Beterbiev didn’t land a single clean shot.
Artur has power but still lost to Bivol. Bivol got robbed. Even him and his team were supprised when he won the decision.

@@abrahamisaac8432 take a look at arturs face and bivols face, big difference , bivol did no damage and they landed the same amount of punches, plus Beterbiev had more pressure than Bivol. Bivol resorted to stalling for time the end rounds by clinching every few seconds...
Bivol’s face looks more damaged but respects to this warrior, no excuses, no moaning he took the defeat on the chin and yet remained humble and respectful to his opponent, as a Muslim I respect this man so much. He is still very young and has so much to offer.
