      @@sapok6687It also depends on your bodyweight since you push a percentage of that doing pushups. I bench 260lbs+ but cant do 50 pushups. I weigh 200lbs. If you weigh 150, a 225lbs bench will be harder while push ups for reps will be easier

    • @NotFinnTrado
      @NotFinnTrado 11 месяцев назад

      @@sapok6687 do weighted pushups, honestly anything more than 8 reps, is not for building strength. If you're training for endurance ofc you're not gonna hit one rep maxes (assuming that 225 was your 1 rep max). Do weighted decline pushups for maximum dificulty, go higher with the weight until you can do a "max" not "min" of 8 pushups. Then just progressive overload with the weight and do like 4 sets of the pushups.

Do the negative portion of the pull ups real slowly and focus on that instead of going up to the bar. Then work up to 1 pull up. Once you got 1 pull up down, next, do 1 pull up in the morning, 1 later in the day. Then go to 3 a day, 4 a day, and so on. I started my fitness journey 2 months ago, i could do 3-5 pushups max. Ive actually never been to the gym cuz im still 14, but got a pair of dumbbells and a floor so i should be fine 😅. Now after 2 months I’m able to do 34. Im literally so grateful to myself that I started thinking about building muscle. I lost 7 kg (cuz I was almost overweight) and now I’m 16% bf.

    I’m roughly 190 and started my true gym transformation for about 1 month consistently and 1 year VERY inconsistently. I can now do roughly 10 push-ups with good form when I used to not be able to do 1 with terrible form. Come a long way and am going through a major cut right now.
