I also wanted Graham Stephan's bank to succeed.
I didn't use the features. Honestly I was set it and forget it. Not touched unless needed, but definitely counted in the safety part of my brain. I didn't question the safety.
I would have thought when other banks started failing with fed tightening, I would have questioned bank safety.
I didn't even think of it.
I suppose I should have used Google.
I assumed that I was good at decisions. I thought Graham Stephan wouldn't put his name or invest in a bad product.
I was wrong. I had months of income I wasn't intending to gamble with.
I wanted it to work. To be safe.
It came as a shock. I wasn't prepared to realize I was being foolish. Until Coffezilla made his video I wasn't even aware my account was frozen, because I never checked it.
Why I had money in a gimmick account I didn't even use the gimmicks of, I can't tell you.
@@Trustbutverify2651 ignorance. I thought it was FDIC insured. More fool I.
sorry Dave, it's Michelangelo :)
So many art experts, so little time.
You need money. Money comes from work, not borrowing 😅
The ceiling of the Sistine chapel was painted by Michelangelo, not Leonardo da Vinci!
Molly, don't marry him without a nup.
And marriage counseling. There might be resentment.
Molly, put the money and future disbursements in a trust today! Have disbursements every 5 years so you grow and mature into yourself and your money and you both don’t spend it all at once or he doesn’t leave with any of it!!
Sammie in Phoenix definitely needs to find a job. Even if it’s only $14 an hour. I know lots of places need bus drivers at decent wages. In my city it pays $23 an hour to start with great benefits and free training.
At the 1 hr mark, moving for min. 16 weeks to make a little more per hour ($24-35) ?They have now doubled their living expenses by her living somewhere else. She needs to rent an apartment, cable, internet, etc, which are shared expenses staying in the same place as her husband.
They will be further in debt if she does that, not less, plus gaz in driving back and forth to see each other, etc.
It might not be that much. Alot of travel nurses just rent a room or share housing with other nurses.
Some landlords and Airbnb owners exclusively do short term rentals to travel nurses, and the rates can be pretty affordable.
Contracts may also include a housing stipend and per diem, which covers living expenses.
This young girls parents are in their 60s!! Go spend time with them! Geez Dave!
Excuse me, socialize retirement it's actually a pension that it's connected to your age and years put in the work. In every other country in this world, anybody gets a pension after 65 which is adjusted to inflation it is guaranteed by the government our government spends the money on whatever they want because they do not care if elderly have money or not. It means if you were a cook all your life, you're still getting a decent pension when you get old. Plus you never get a bill for medical care
22 is too young to get married sorry live your life don’t worry about married till your 30
I was watching a documentary about Western women no longer having children. It cited studies showing that if a woman doesn't have a child by age 31, her chances of ever being a mother drop to about 15%!
@@myoldvhstapes sorry, but that is straight bullshit. 😂
The median age of first time mothers in the US is 30.
ALOT of women are having their first kids at 30+, due to wanting financial stability, to finish education, and to establish a career before having kids.
People are also getting married later in life than they used to, both men and women, which is helping push first time motherhood ages out.
Throw that documentary away!! 😂
I don’t watch the Olympics either Dave! Not sure what the hype is
The entire world comes together and sends their best athletes to compete against each other. It's one of the rare times where humans of all different backgrounds come together without discrimination. Everyone is equal at the Olympics.
Lmao ❤
Not about the Olympics just the convo.
Not any more. They're letting men box women now. @@sportagus3
Only people who have no idea what it takes to get to that level in athletics blow off the world competition at the Olympics.
I can't believe they didn't have the insurance paid to the mortgage.
Da Vinci didn’t paint the Sistine Chapel.
Dave is severely underestimating the difficulty of becoming CPA. 150 college hours, Bachelors degree in accounting required, estimated 300-400 hours of study time for the exam,
After I learned accounting, quarterly earnings report from corporations after stock market hours are more attractive to me than Olympics.
I watch the Olympics and make money. Is that ok with you?
I was a bit confused, the first caller made over 300k for eight years. What did she do to all her money? No one asked what her mortgage was, what her 401k balance was. How much she had in her 6 month savings account. If she was making over 300k and is worried, I was more concerned on why she did not have more money saved? No one asked if she had an every dollar account. Sounds like she needed to budget also.
The last lady whose husband didn't get the law enforcement job. That may be true, but i think hes lying to her about something. Sounded really sketchy
Right!! Even the way she was sobbing, I was like 😳.
Where is John Delony when you need him, like girl are you safe. 😭😭
And I'm sure they told him exactly why he did not pass the evaluation.
He probably knew just what to say for the written, but in person, you can learn alot about people.
If they said he's not fit for duty, I believe them.
The police would accept three possums in a trench coat right now. 😭
For them to turn him down, something was very wrong.
Thanks!
Do they ever announce who wins the money? I feel like the last one they didn’t even say who won…
Dave, you can’t work and draw SS until you’ve reached 67ish. Seems like you would know this!
Rachel got in trouble so much she was probably thinking "yay" when she got a break from pop. ; )
Hi Dave
Dave always steals Georgie’s jokes/lines and never credits him 😅
And vice versa.
I doubt George steals his jokes I always hear him say it and then Dave. But they’re honestly probably programmed to repeat Dave anyway. So no vice versa
I would have given permission to Rachel to go spend the weekend with her parents! Good grief! Seize the day and see your parents! So what if that slows down your debt snowball a tiny bit! Both my parents are gone and I wish, over these last 12 years, that I had gone to see my mom earlier. I put it off, she had a stroke, and we never had another conversation. If I could go back in time I would have gone to see her!
Go flames!!! 🔥🦅
I'm sorry what is MNA?? I'm in medicine so I'm a little lost when she says MNA
M&A (mergers and acquisitions)
Dave, why don't you call it the "Rachel Cruise?"
Because it's not all Rachel
@@pamsmith1665 It was a JOKE, a play on words in case you didn't catch that.
“Her husband dumped her.” What a horrible characterization. I heard she was divorced did I missed the part where she stated she got dumped? Even if he left her that is a poor way to state what happened. Do better.
Totally taken out of context. Suck less luv

@@NoRoids_JustRage No. I’m not offended I just think it’s a rude thing to say about another person. He has no idea what or how her divorce came about.

22 with 1.5 million 😮 she is set for life
Hardly
She absolutely can be…she could also screw up a very good situation.
Ever heard of lottery winners who find themselves broke five years later? It's one thing to inherit; it's quite another to hang onto the money, spend wisely, and invest which is what Dave was pointing out.
There is no such thing as "set for life" at that age.
She’s gotta put all of it in a trust in her name today that doles out disbursements every 5 years so she doesn’t blow it all at once!!! Prenup and trust in her name tomorrow!!!
Dear 22 year old. PLEASE PLEASE GET A PRENUP!!
Target don't pay 20 bucks hr neither does walmart..lol

Oh got it. Mergers and acquisitions
The term life insurance quote was a joke. 300 the month? Are you kidding me? That is far from just the cost of a coffee so dave, do a little bit of math and multiply that by 12 months and 15 years and how that even makes any sense
Walmart and target don't pay $20 in most places come on now
I think he was just trying to tell that lady to stop being lazy and get a job.
Michelangelo painted the Sistine chapel……..and he finished at age 37 lol
But good try Dave
The corruption that runs through this administration is getting scarier. I feel for the disabilities who are not getting the help they deserve. Anyone who is not investing now is missing a tremendous opportunity. Imagine investing $2,000 and receiving $10,020.
How can disabled seniors generate passive income during quantitative times? I can't afford to see my savings crumble to dust
Getting Mendy Alissa to help me really helped me clear all my debts. I started with what I have left and it's been the best decision I've ever made
This is correct, Mendy Alissa strategy has normalized winning trades for me also and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started
I have been seeing lots of testimonies about her. She must be very good for people to talk so well about her

This is so weird. In the middle of a father daughter conversation, she calls him "Dave." It just doesn't have the same impact.
His idea for his kids to call him Dave when they are at work.
@@beckygeer6480, which puts it right up there with people picking their preferred pronouns. It's weird.
they talked about it one time and he said at work I'm her boss and all the other times I'm her dad. I'm sure she's used to it by now but it would seem strange for me to call my dad by his first name. But I never worked for my dad…
@@brookelondon8029, I worked for my Dad for a short time. My coworkers would've thought it strange if I had called him Dale.
That is the point.
I just hate Dave's exaggerated view of investment. Invest in the stock market, get 10% and double your investment in 7 years. How about the usual don turns every couple of years? Return of 10% completely over inflated. Stop telling us something which is utter false.
DJIA has a total GROSS return of 10.2 to 10.7%. S&P 500 174% over 10 years. Modeling 10% is aggressive, but accurate. I prefer 8 - 10%, gross. There are market variances.
I never got less than 10% in the past 15 years. A few years ago I got 26% and right now I'm up 18% for the year following his plan with the four types of mutual funds with a 20 year or more track record of 10% or more. His advice really does work.
