    I got one today for 700 bucks. Same exact specs except for the paint job. Mine has 99k miles still really good for a '94. Everything is perfect on it exterior, interior, mechanical. Engine sounds amazing can't believe I picked this up for 700 bucks. Huge stack of any maintenance documents included in a folder like oil changes or anything that need to be replaced. I gotta admit... the v8 in this little car sounds amazing. It looks like a grandma car but its got enough balls to hit the 120mph and beyond that you see the speedometer. Best 700 hundred I've ever spent.

    The door code is located on the left arm of the trunk lid. That's where I found mine.

    Love my t-bird (basically the same). It is an awesome highway/freeway cruiser. It corners well so I find country roads quite enjoyable

    I am guessing that this was owned by an old guy who bought it new but in later years hardly drove it and it was probably just sat in his garage most of the time. Well preserved!!

      James 1975 you mean Sat out in the sun. Faded!

    • @James-lq5zz
      @James-lq5zz 6 лет назад

      Some of the time yes clearly, but not all the time as the clearcoat would have all burnt off on that age of car sat out all the time in the CA sun. That kind of light blue metallic is susceptible to fading also anyway.

    • @joeleek9976
      @joeleek9976 6 лет назад +1

      James 1975 -90s paint. You are right. It is difficult to find a 90s car now that isn't peeling and/or faded.

    • @klwthe3rd
      @klwthe3rd 6 лет назад +1

      It's not even just because of the age of the car. The paint technology and quality in the late 1980's and 1990's was that good to start off with. That was a time car manufacturers were still trying to perfect the waterborne paint systems and the clearcoats just didn't last that long. I've owned several cars from these decades and all were garaged and waxed religiously and the clear coat still faded and peeled!

    With the exception of the tan interior, (mine is grey) I have the exact same car. It's a '94 which I bought used in February of '98. Ford calls that color "Light Evergreen Frost".
    The old cat now has over 200k miles on her, and still running strong.
    I've put her up against GT Rustangs and won. May be because the 'stang owners simply didn't know how to drive the car, but either way, I still beat them. I've been really proud of my Cougar, and if the engine fails after 200k miles, I'll just put another one in it and keep gassing on it !!!

    I saw this car briefly, on your moving sale,and I definitely want to get that Cougar, I'm the old guy in Florida, and I want to secure the car, how much would you require to hold for me? I live in Florida I have your number as of today, and I want to know when would be a good time to call you? Are you moved to Montana completely yet?

    on his website he refers to the car as "Super Clean' and 'Super Cool'. He's hoping to associate the car with it's twin the Thunderbird 'Super Coupe'. Sales people..always playing games.
