      I think they work fine; it’s my favorite type of coin holder. But depending on the coin you only get two or three coins a slot.

    Actual carbon copy of my 97 Tbird. The only interior difference was instead of the color scheme Gray leather+Beige plastic trim, my Thunderbird has Grey-Black respectively.
    Nice cars, very good bang for your buck if you take care of them.

    I own a 1997 Cougar XR7 30th anniversary with a 5.4 Triton motor swap and Tuned. Heads are off a mustang, Trans was rebuilt by Art Carr Performance in Nevada theybdid a great job never had any issues with it, it has a custom built intake chopped and ported out. It’s not a 500 horse car but it goes pretty good. Timing chains squeaking now so I gotta pull the cover off and replace everything. Love my Cougar I need to get to work on it tho.

    One of the last personal luxury cars, a holdover from the Malaise Era, but I like it! Even better are two door V8 personal luxury cars with a bench seat and column shift automatic. But, the Cougar XR7 is the sporty version, so the comfortable bucket seats and floor shift automatic are appropriate. Yes, very 90s looking and still affordable. I wonder if/when they will become popular and expensive?

    Edit: I was like 10 when he got rid of it(sadly, wish he still had it) so I don’t know much about the car. I do know that it had the v8 because I remember seeing a mustang logo somewhere on the engine when he was working on it

    last year of aod was 93. This is a 4r70w. There's no sport mode or non sport mode to defeat., so I don't know what you're talking about. The Saturn that passed you was an S series, not an Ion. The headlight control's rightmost wheel is not a dimmer. The "top light" isn't dimmable. That wheel sets the time for the headlights to stay on after you leave the car. It's part of the autolamp system, controlled by the photocell on the dash. The grille is from a 91-93. The swoopy dash started for 94. ALL cougars from 93 onward are XR7. Premium sound got you a better tape deck and speakers, and an amp under the parcel shelf. An even higher option was the JBL system. You can see the voltmeter doesn't work. That's common. The slatted ovals by the ashtray are coin holders. The 97 got a different console top that has 2 cup holders, moving the coin holders to the forward section of it where it curves up to meet the center stack, moving the ashtray and lighter to the lowest DIN shaped cubby, and eliminating the message center. The radio heater and message center being black look stuck on as if unrelated, because the cougars have console and dash faces that match the interior colour, whereas the Thunderbirds all have those pars in black, against which the black components look more integrated.

    When you hit the brake and it pulls to the left like that that means your torsion bar is getting bad the bushing it's like a stabilizer but since it has independent suspension it has a torsion bar on each side

    • @xXBullets78
      @xXBullets78 4 года назад +1

      Universal Consciousness they don’t have a torsion bar, it’s an SLA coil over shock. If it pulls to the left it is either a sticking passenger front caliper or worn driver lower control arm bushing.
