the early 80's Ford cars are great. I worked at a Ford Dealer service department from 1980 to 87.. This wagon is beautiful and perfect..
The mini van was the demise of these great old beauties.

We had an 84 i think of this back when I was a kid. It was pretty banged up and unreliable because it was abused by its previous owner. It got put away in a shed for 7 years then when I was 15 we used it as a field car. Damn could that thing fly through the corn field. Good piece of nostalgia.

i love wagons specially the old ones from the early 70s :3 .
rear side seats just like in the old Land Rover SUV, this would be a perfect SWAT vehicle to drive around in.
you could almost call that a roof. hell its large enough nearly. miss having you around my friend. you were one of the few who did a half way decent car review. whether you were trying to sell them or not.
i miss the days of distinctive styling. now, everything looks pretty much alike as they are all egg shaped and boring as hell to look at.

Someone probably stripped the Park indicator (it's like a tuning dial on a radio that probably uses a string to move along) and someone put it beyond what it could go. I love these wagons, I hope it goes to a good home. Good luck (:

I wonder how much you got for this Crown Vic, as it was in reeally amazing original condition! I especially loved that dark brown metallic, even though I would be surprised if that was the original colour..

I know an old couple who own a 1990 Crowv Vic LTD Country Squire - 11,000 original miles , pristine without a single door ding, always garaged, leather interior. They just replaced the original tires because they are thinking of selling. Any dea what a showroom quality 1990 Country Squire is valued at ?
+Scott H Look over $5,000, a similar 1990 Mercury with 77 or 78k just ended on eBay at $10,150 as of late April 2016. One that nice shouldn't be treated like it's junk. I'm giving a wide window of opinion on pricing because that Mercury had the instant clear windshield, a rare expensive option.

No they are not in production anymore as they were replaced by the Minivan which Ford made three models of, the Aerostar the Windstar and the Freestyle which was phased out for the Edge.
