IWI Masada is definitely a quality firearm at a very good price point. Trigger is better than people think. Definitely gets better with some rounds downrange. IWI has started to put out some options in their catalogue. Also holster companies are starting to take notice. Vedder has some excellent holsters for this. Good honest review. I actually like the Masada better than my Glock.

Vedder light tuck IWB . Enjoyed the review. I absolutely agree. Love my Masada but mine has that mushy trigger with no defined wall and it breaks at less then 4lbs. Kind of light for a defensive firearm. Still getting used to it. I also swapped the sights for Meprolight night sights, big improvement imho. Like the feel in the hand and 17 round capacity. Fit & finish is excellent, better then my P365, & it manages recoil well. She’s a keeper for sure
Nice review with solids points for the good and the not so good. I have one and really like it. It fits my hand really well, although I wish the grip the texture was a bit more aggressive. As far as the trigger, I agree the reset is a bit long, other than that I like the trigger. For my sample size of one it doesn’t have too much take up and mine has (for me) a nice break. As a lefty appreciate the ambi controls especially the mag release. I may have lucked out because I have no issue with it. Mine is positive, easy to reach, not stiff at all, I like it. Compare that with the Arex Delta Gen 2 ambi mag release the Masada’s is absolutely fantastic. I agree on your take on the fire control unit, it needs a redesign of some kind especially, as you pointed out about the springs. And to me it doesn’t seem as robust as the 320’s and as user friendly to put back into the grip module. But I haven’t really played too much with it because of that aspect. I wish IWI would do better in supporting the Masada, it’s been out around 2 years now and not much in support from IWI or the aftermarket. I think if IWI really marketed this gun with other grip modules, sizes and colors, slides, barrels even threaded barrels, etc. it would be fantastic. Sig has shown what can be done with this type of gun with its fcu and how well they have marketed it. Just my two cents. Thanks for the quality review, keep them coming.

So in 2017 this gun hit the market in the USA. It's selling points? 1. It's price, 2 optics ready, 3 fully ambi, 4 it's "modularity". Fast forward to 2022, Neither IWI nor ANY other company has made a SINGLE grip modular for it so whats the point?
I think a lot of things came into play. To be honest I don’t think that IWI has the money or financial backing to fulfill the promises of different modular grip frames that they had promised at least in different colors that is. Moreover COVID-19 hit and not really put the kibosh on a lot of things. Also, people were buying so many guns that they were backlogged with just their base model. I don’t think that there was any real need to change things up because they were selling them like crazy
Bought the desert tan one for my son. First time at the range he loves it! Good honest review by the way. I have the Jericho 941 9mm, so we are definitely an IWI family.

I actually loved how the trigger felt- I felt like it had an easier break than my M&Ps, and to me I think that would help me shoot more accurately because I tend to flinch if I go straight to the wall and wait. Still a fantastic gun for lefties! I wonder if they'll have aftermarket improvements for the mag release.

I have quiet a few handguns and the Masada is a good pistol. The Springfield XD night sites fit it also. FYI.
