@@Zachpoteet380here's the thing...keto diet lowers cravings and hunger subsides, so you are right in a way. It is easier to run on caloric deficit on the keto diet...because you are more satisfied on fat and protein. The added plus is that it forces your body to burn fat as opposed to extra carbohydrates which in the modern diet is far easier to obtain. So much easier that we run on extra carbs that need to be stored as fat.

Sure, you burn fat while fasting even when you're eating lots of carbs. If someone cannot burn fat while fasting, they will get hypoglycemia for sure since their need for glucose is "high" but they can't make enough of it out of fat and protein when needed. The body makes demand driven glucose through gluconeogenesis via proteins and the backbones of fat molecules. When your body is used to using fats and ketones, it's a lot easier to burn stored body fat. Along with that, ketones are leucine sparing, meaning you won't lose nearly as much muscle while losing weight vs eating carbs. When I fast for an entire day, my body is used to using ketones and fats, so I lose the weight, keep it off, and keep my muscle, which also means I maintain my metabolism.

Keto is a great way to reduce excess sugar in the body. Also a little bit of fasting goes a long way if you can give yourself an 8 hour eating window everyday it will help a lot. It will give your body a break from having to produce so much insulin. Insulin is just a hormone if you force your body to make to much it will get burnt out and cause you not to be able to produce it efficiently on your own. Hope this helps.

Glucose is essential, carbs aren't. Yes it does help overweight men burn more body fat. It uncouples mitochondria which increases resting and basal metabolic function and produces extra heat similar to brown fat. You don't have to worry about blood sugars doing a ketogenic diet, almost no one will get hypoglycemia ever again due to gluconeogenesis.
No one says glucose isn't essential. No one says that. Just carbs intake. You do automatically "burn more fat" when your body is adjusting it doesn't know how many ketones you're going to need, so it over produces. This causes you to pee out and breathe out a bunch of ketones which is around 4 calories per ketone, so you're literally breathing and peeing out calories that your body produced for energy that your body didn't utilize, until it figures out the range of ketones that your body is going to need for day to day functionality or to keep basic glucose. Your blood sugars can go down to 30-40 without any noticable impact to yourself versus the 60-70 that feels life threatening when you listen to information such as what you're spouting.

Keto is the grumpy constipation diet. Eat complex carbs and real natural fat. Saturated fat is not bad in natural food. Natural sugar in carbohydrates is good. We eat whole foods. The calorie theory is mostly true. You can get fat on keto.

Wait - keto doesn’t “burn” fat? If carbs aren’t available as a glucose source, the body turns to stored lipids and coverts it into glucose via glycolysis (or recycles damaged/worn protein through autophagy if intermittent fasting). So what is the speaker trying to say? He needs to be more concise in explaining his verbiage - particularly “burning.”

Do you even understand what "essential" means in nutrition? When something is essential, such as essential amino acids or fatty acids, it means the body cannot produce it on its own and you have to get it from food. Carbohydrates are not essential, because the body can convert fat and protein into glucose when it needs. And such a slow paced conversion is better than spiking your blood sugar and insulin levels with carbs

I lost weight quicker and Easier on keto and I was fat. My craving went away, energy up, body felt great overall and I ate one meal a day and most of the time I wasn’t that hungry. I had no sugar cravings either!!! Our body needs better fuel than glucose(carbs) as a main source.
