The veneer looks nice and thick on that ply! Nice work
It’s pretty thin. It has an 1/8” layer of mdf between the ply core and veneer.
@@NE_woodworks that is what I was seeing. The Columbia stuff I get here is very thin too.
Great music choice, nice and calm on a beautiful Saturday morning.
Thanks 🤙
Too calm. I fell asleep twice and had to restart. lol
Looks awesome! I like the clean lines and function for this cabinet. Well done!
Thanks 🤙
Great build, liked the chill video vibe!
Thanks 🤙
Great build video Josh.
Thanks bro
I was going to comment on the grain direction but you clarified it. Nice work.
Yeah not the way I would have done it. But got to give the designers what they want lol
Very nice job.
The solid wood edges make for a nicer look than just using your edge bander for that.
Thanks. Yeah I agree
Nice work Josh
Thanks 🤙
The music sucks! Lol, your work is excellent. Good content for someone new to the woodworking world.
lol. Thanks 🤙
Great work as always! What Blade are you using on your table saw? I just got a grizzly, and put a Freud on it and it chunks when cross cutting.
Thanks again, keep up the good work..
For plywood I use FSTool ATB blade. I also use the scoring blade when cross cutting to eliminate tear out on the backside
How did you go about mounting it to the wall? Anything specific in the customers house?
Great video and love the channel.
Thanks! I’ll post some pics on hanging it after we get this installed
Beautiful work, what router bit did you use to clean the plywood edge before you glued your edge banding on, if you don’t mind me asking?
Thanks. It’s called a plywood prep bit. Collins tool co makes it.
@@NE_woodworks I had one awhile ago and lost it. Couldn't remember what it was called. Thank you for the reply and keep up the great craftsmanship.
can we talk about the lamello attachment you used for the mitered biscuits?
Yes! Keith Johnson makes them. They are great when biscuiting miters
Just wondered what tool pouch you are wearing? I want something simple like that.
Don’t worry, just found your video on it 🤦🏼♀️😂
It’s an occidental leather one. I got it on Amazon.
only about 200k in that shop. then I look at my chest tool I have a hammer and nails. great job there.
Thanks!
Where do you purchase your sheet ply from?
Local place called hardwood industries
My Hubby wants to know if you have ever had trouble with biscuits either indenting the surface or raising the surface since you glue them in ? He has heard that can happen..
As long as they are far enough down from the surface this isn’t an issue. I’ve “heard” it too. I have never had a problem with it. Biscuits are something we use on just about every project.
@@NE_woodworks Thanks for the reply.. I use wife's computer. I really enjoy your work, keep it going.
@@NE_woodworks How far down do you place them from top surface?
I wonder how many people will comment that biscuits are made only for alignment
lol. None so far
@@NE_woodworks I have that argument all the time with clueless people, been building cabinets for almost 30 years now with biscuits I have never had one fail, yet somehow they are only for alignment 🙄
We use them on pretty much every project
Biscuits are made only for alignment
Lol
