Beautiful piece. I love that you are able to produce great looking pieces such as this one in the size shop that you have. It gives the rest of us hope.
Thanks for the kind words! Last I checked the shop is around 240 sq. Ft.
At 0:27 I meant to say the finish gable runs tight to the underside of the (counter).
Hello from Vancouver Island 🏝️
Hi there. Vancouver Island is a great place. I’ve visited twice.
Can you share the panels you're using for the project?
They are a walnut veneer 3/4” thick particle core sheet.
God job
thanks
how do you apply the borders?
On the exposed faces I used 1/8” thick solid wood. I laminate them with wood glue. For the cabinet interior I used pre-glued walnut veneer edge banding. If you refer to the first video in this series there is footage of both processes. Minimize the overhang when you laminate the solid wood to the panel edge so there’s less work for your trim router and less chance for tear out.
Thanks god job
Thanks, I appreciate it!
Lets see part 4
I pick up the counter Friday!
