Really enjoy you well thought out process! Learned a new trick with straight edge for hinges. I've always used a square with little edge available for reference.
Does your shop have 3 phase power? My son has the large Grizzly sliding saw in his shop and it is 3 phase. Like you, most of his machines are Grizzly. He just recently added a straight line saw, also Grizzly, again 3 phase. I think 12 of his machines are 3 phase, including his air compressors. They also use air for all the hand sanders, they simply hold up better.
Nice sized shop. Maybe you mentioned it somewhere; the floor is that underlayment on concrete or a foundation wall with beams? If yes, what was the allowed calculated pressure to have no wobble or any bow in the floor?

The floor is on joists. Crawls space below. I’m not sure what the load it can take is.
