Hey Bryn, Great video!! I have actually seen one of these movies!! I saw "The Conjuring"! My son likes this movie and wanted me to watch it with him. We also watched "The Conjuring II. They were ok movies. I really loved this series on the greatest characters in each decade!! Thank you so much for an awesome series!!

Good list, Mark Duplass is phenomenal in Creep. Even when he is calm in that movie he seems unhinged.
I'd add The Babadook, Kevin from Split, the Gran from The Visit, Deacon from The Borderlands, Tina From Sightseers and Eva from We Need to talk about Kevin, probably more of a psychological drama, but i think it would count.

    • @horrorhands879

Thank you! Yeah, he’s so scary in Creep. Oh, man! The Visit is excellent. The Borderlands nearly made my list - love the two characters in that one.

Fantastic list Bryn. The Warren's are such a great casting choice. Ready or not is so good. Get out is solid, Chris is fantastic. The blind man from don't breathe is a good pick. Yes, so glad you picked father from the sacrament. It's so underrated. Creep is so cool. I agree that Toni Colette should have won an Oscar. Art is a great character. Pennywise is fantastic.

The flick I haven't seen yet is 'The Lodge'..(shame on me) lol I'd have to have Choi Min-sik as (Jang Kyung -chul) the Antagonist/Serial killer from 'I Saw the Devil' on my list. Love The Conjuring, and Vera Farmiga is indeed a highly talented actress. As you rightly say, she was awesome in Bates Motel too. CREEP is probably, after LATE NIGHT WITH THE DEVIL, the only other found footage movie I really like. Wow, you are so right when you referred to Mark Duplas's creepy performance, esp when he put that werewolf mask on and gave his videographer guest a fright! I was very disappointed with CREEP 2 though, as I was expecting it to be as good as the first, but it was nowhere near. Definitely agree with you on TERRIFIER and Tim Curry's portrayal of Pennywise. Can't wait for TERRIFIER 3. Another great video, Bryn. Excellent series all round.

That was a great series Bryn. I did think Art The Clown would be number 1 but your explanation of Pennywise being everywhere you look justifies your decision.
I've seen very few modern Horrors. Partly cause they keep turning them all into franchises and I refuse to buy them 1 at a time, when at some point we'll get a box set.
Keep the content coming my friend. As always you keep bringing different and interesting ideas to your channel. Which is growing really well.
So well done. I hope you are proud of what you are doing.

Here’s my list. Not entirely happy with it, coz my knowledge of modern horror isn’t very good 😄 but nonetheless some of my favourite horror characters from 2010s era…
Brodie - Milo Cawthorne - Deathgasm
Nina Sayers - Natalie Portman - Black swan
The Monsters Menagerie - The Monsters - The Cabin in the Woods (kind of cheated with this but love all the monster menagerie and one of my faves from that decade)
    Jang Kyul-Chung - Choi Min-Sik - I Saw The Devil
Fred Parras - Stephen Lang - VFW
Danica Ross - Rebecca Romijn - Satanic Panic
Milo - Milo - Bad Milo
Sang Hwa - Ma Dong Seok - Train To Busan
Luke - Levi Miller - Better watch out
Mister - Nick Damici - Stakeland

Great list and a great series of movies. Creep 1 and 2 are great films and Mark Duplass is so good in the role (quite comical too which makes it even more disturbing). Only ones I haven't seen is the Lodge and The Father, The Lodge has been on my radar a while now but never even heard of The Father...need to get on those. If I were to make my own list I think I'd have to squeeze Mr Babadook in there somewhere. Great Video, all the best.
