I thought you’d struggle with 2000s but it was good. Bateman is clearly 1. In 2000s I just watched Garth Marenghis Darkplace on 4player. Definitely worth a watch if you haven’t seen it
Yes a tricky decade for iconic horror monsters and evil celluloid peeps, but you did a grand job. I really appreciate the hard work you put into these videos. Excellent job. Thanks!
All hail the gingerdead man, Gary Busey for president, love it. Shadow of the vampire and one hour photo are among my favourites and I'm glad you mentioned ginger snaps, underrated werewolf movie and an excellent trilogy to boot. Have an awesome week pal
Kind of a bit more difficult list to compile for this decade. I do agree, there are a good number of memorable characters but not so much "Iconic"... Bateman and Otis are def up there. I might add the Creeper from 'Jeepers Creepers', the fiend from 'The Collector' and Chromeskull from 'Laid to Rest'. Enjoyed the video, buddy! see ya on the next one.
This is probably your most interesting list so far. I agree on Sy Parrish and Patrick Bateman, such amazingly layered performances. His performance in Good Will Hunting is brilliant, but I think Sy might be Robin's best. I think I'd go with Samara from the american remake of The Ring. Might try to fit in Victor Crowley in there somewhere, although he is more of a 2010s horror character cause thats when all the sequels came out. Also, I think I would go with Death from Final Destination. Yeah, it might just be some air that causes things to fall over, but it's so creative, and makes those films interesting to watch.
Yes, Robin Williams was amazing Good Will Hunting. I love the Final Destination movies and did consider a couple of the kids for the list - I love that you went with Death. Thanks for watching.
Great list, HorrorHands! Depending on one's view, this decade has so much or so little to work with. I thought of the movies first, then what characters made them memorable. First to come to mind was Robin Williams (One Hour Photo), followed by William Dafoe as John Henry in Auto Focus (maybe not a horror film, but very creepy), Death in the Final Destination series, Bill Paxton in Frailty, and just about anybody in Blood Feast 2.
Thanks, Jack! Great suggestion with Frailty and nice to see some love for Blood Feast 2! I nearly included someone from Final Destination but never thought to go with Death!
Hey Bryn. Props to you for including Shadow of the Vampire. You hipped me to the Last Horror Movie and yeah really liked it. On a similar vein maybe offer up Leslie Vernon from Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. As an Aussie I’ve got to go with Mick Taylor from Wolf Creek 😜 but yeah Bateman for No.1
Hey Bryn, Great video! I do not know any of these characters because I have never seen any of these movies. As I said before, I like the older classical movies. Even if I have never seen a movie you talk about, I still like to hear what you have to say about them. That way, I can see if it is a movie I would like to see! I love your channel!!
I thought Leslie Vernon was pretty good. All three Rabbits, from Rabbits. And Bruce Campbell as Sebastian Haff in Bubba Ho-Tep (the score is absolutely beautiful in that one).
Great list! 'Gingerdead Man' probably wouldn't have even crossed my mind if I were compiling a list like this, but I agree! Keep up, the good work. Always enjoy your videos.
Gingerdead Man and Ginger Snaps are awesome movies! I remember enjoying the Robin Williams movie. I’ll put it on my rewatch list. I haven’t seen Jennifer’s Body yet. Batman Bateman was great in American Psycho. I’ll check out the Max movie. Great vid! 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥👍🏻🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥
This decade is an interesting one. I think there were some great films but like you said, not enough stand out characters. I can't deny your number 1 choice of Patrick Bateman though. Spot on 👌 In fact, you picked some pretty decent characters all round here Bryn, well done. Myself, I'd probably add Kayako Saeki from "The Grudge", simply because I found her to be quite terrifying.
Yes, more great movies over memorable characters. Had to go with Patrick Bateman as number 1 - it's a great performance and has even become a meme now, haha. The ghosts in The Grudge have always creeped me out! Thanks, Tom.
A fascinating list, Bryn; I'd put Esther from Orphan, The Creeper from Jeepers Creepers and Sam from Trick 'r Treat at the top of my list. I haven't seen The Last Horror Movie, it sounds reminiscent of Robert Englund's The Last Showing, I'll have to check that out...
Thanks, Tara! Esther was certainly a great character and provided a memorable twist ending. The Last Horror Movie has a very different feel to The Last Showing, although I enjoyed both movies 🙂👍
Great list Bryn. The last horror movie is so good. I like the gingerdead man alot. I still love hollowman, it's a bit dated. Still so good. John Kramer is definitely one of my favorites. Shadow of the vampire is fantastic. One hour photo is another film no one talks about. Love Otis Driftwood. Patrick Bateman would be high on my list as well.

Also, "You're probably watching the wrong channel" had me cracking up lol Cheers, friend. WHERE CAN I GET ONE OF THOSE HORROR HANDS HOODIES?
