    Kind of a bit more difficult list to compile for this decade. I do agree, there are a good number of memorable characters but not so much "Iconic"... Bateman and Otis are def up there. I might add the Creeper from 'Jeepers Creepers', the fiend from 'The Collector' and Chromeskull from 'Laid to Rest'. Enjoyed the video, buddy! see ya on the next one.

    This is probably your most interesting list so far. I agree on Sy Parrish and Patrick Bateman, such amazingly layered performances. His performance in Good Will Hunting is brilliant, but I think Sy might be Robin's best.
    I think I'd go with Samara from the american remake of The Ring. Might try to fit in Victor Crowley in there somewhere, although he is more of a 2010s horror character cause thats when all the sequels came out. Also, I think I would go with Death from Final Destination. Yeah, it might just be some air that causes things to fall over, but it's so creative, and makes those films interesting to watch.

    • @horrorhands666
      @horrorhands666  3 месяца назад +4

    Great list, HorrorHands! Depending on one's view, this decade has so much or so little to work with. I thought of the movies first, then what characters made them memorable. First to come to mind was Robin Williams (One Hour Photo), followed by William Dafoe as John Henry in Auto Focus (maybe not a horror film, but very creepy), Death in the Final Destination series, Bill Paxton in Frailty, and just about anybody in Blood Feast 2.

    • @horrorhands666

    Uh oh, I’m starting to get out of my depth now with these more modern decades, there’s big gaping holes in my viewing (for instance never seen Gingerdead Man), for what it’s worth here’s my list though, in no order at all…

    C.J. - Michael Kelly - Dawn of the Dead
    Otis - Bill Moseley - The Devil’s Rejects
    Captain Spaulding - Sid Haig - The Devil’s Rejects
    Mick Taylor - John Jarrett - Wolf Creak
    Cherry Darling - Rose McGowan - Planet Terror

      @@horrorhands666 It’s weird, there must be some sort of discombobulating timey-wimey thing going on with age and my loss of brain cells, coz when ‘Rec’ came out in 2007, 17years prior to that was Gremlins 2 for instance and that seems way older by comparison. From now to Rec then Rec to Gremlins 2, 17 years.
      And 17 years prior to that and you are talking The Satanic Rights of Dracula!
      Someone’s taking the Mickey here I’m sure.
      It’s like when Day of the Dead came out in 1985 20 years prior to that we had The Masque of the Red Death with Vincent Price.
      If I go back 20 years to 2004 we’re talking Resident Evil Apocalypse and Alien Vs Predator. 🤪
