I can totally respect your opinion on this, I’m just elaborating on why I thought it was better than you made it out to be. Nice video Jeremy though I will defend Solo, it could have a bit a little more unique and fresh, but I had fun with it, far more than some of the other films on your list. I don't have a top 10 because I actively avoided most of the bad films of 2018. Though I will say that my worst/most disappointing films of the year were Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, The Predator, Tomb Raider and Den of Thieves.
I feel like I'm one of the few people that actually loves Solo. The plot isn't messy at all and in terms of 'easter eggs' it's probably the lightest one out of all the new movies. There's barely any references that actually feel forced or get in the way of the plot like Rogue One for example, so that's a bit of an odd complaint. Solo felt like the first proper Star Wars standalone movie. It felt like I was reading a great Star Wars novel/comic book. A fun, light space adventure with great characters with wonderful chemistry, nice set pieces and an atmosphere that felt the most like the OG trilogy since TFA and perhaps even more so. It's also matched with a top tier score, a fantastic villain and ended with classic betrayal stuff, no ridiculous set piece, just genuine character tension and I dug the shit out of it. I get why people don't like it but it really fucking worked for me, it took a couple viewings, but I connected with it eventually. Also I actually kinda like Strangers Prey At Night. It's the most Carpenter-esque slasher movie I've ever seen outside John Carpenter himself. It's not great, but it's got a nice feel to it and that pool scene is visually wonderful.
The Nun was so laughable Goofy....it tried to be scary but it felt so funny...I still find it odd how they advised this movie..."the darkest chapter"...why the darkest why not scariest...does this movie know I w not scary?

Yes!!! I didn't watch the whole film. But as an employee at a theatre I happened to walk in on the end and I thought it was the stupidest, lamest, and most horrible thing I had watched. For some reason it seems like ever since Kevin Peter Hall passed away they haven't been able to make a good Predator film.
I still don’t understand how they could fuck up something as simple as fucking Predator, but they did it. It was worse than the AvP movies. I’d rather watch Alien: Resurrection and AvP: Requiem after that, than watch The Predator again.
Jeremy! Please react to Vader: Episode 1 Shards of the past! I’m sure you know about it, please react to it to help give it traction, we need to get this fan film out there!
5:24 - I choose to believe the "the foreshadowing was blatantly obvious and the jumpscares were abundant" is still describing your experience with "Where's Waldo".
To people saying Fantastic Beasts,Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom or Venom should have been here, you clearly haven't watched enough movies this year to be able to make a list.
I agree except for Venom. Venom was an incompetent mess, and I’ve seen a lot of shitty movies this year. If I made a top 10 of what I’ve seen so far, it’d likely be around 6-10.
Probably won’t read this but I’d love it if you reviewed more Netflix movies. I’d like to hear what you think about bird box and the new black mirror movie
I liked Prey at Night. It had some nice scenes like the pool scene and some great tributes to older horror films like Scream and Texas Chainsaw Massacre though it sometimes were too much.
This isn't per say the worst movie of the year, but The Crimes of Grindlewald was really quite disappointing for me. It just felt all over the place and I can remember coming out of the theater and being amazed that that was a 2 hour movie.
This is what happens when what was supposed to be a trilogy is turned into a 5-part series. I'm a huge HP fan, but Rowling did to Fantastic Beasts what Peter Jackson did to The Hobbit.

Holmes & Watson should be #1, 2 & 3.
King Ranger people either love this movie or think it’s shit
@@loreaver3882 question
I thought it was alright, its not that bad
I thought it was pretty nice, but I understand why you would say that. It’s pretty childish & unrealistic 🤷♀️
Ali The Goat ! Of course it is!!! It’s a complete Micky take of the original ones
I think we can all agree Holmes and Watson was one of the worst movies EVER
I don't agree there are a lot of worse movies out there then Holmes and Watson.
Haven't seen it, won't see it, so can't say.
RIP Schnepp The King of Sweaties he said it was "ONE of the worst" not the worst.
@@Mrk0k0lit0 Yes I know
Worse than Sherlock Gnomes?

The fact homes and Watson isn’t on here baffles me

The Nun was so laughable Goofy....it tried to be scary but it felt so funny...I still find it odd how they advised this movie..."the darkest chapter"...why the darkest why not scariest...does this movie know I w not scary?
Jarrod Edson that movie sucks so bad

Faceless ghost nuns
Ghost nuns with bloody bags over they're faces
Zombie nuns
I have no idea what this movie was trying to be like

It was a bad plot with dumb jumpscare and also couldn't see shit with all the dark scenes lol
Will you do a review on Birdbox...?
Hey guy in the suit miss the jacket happy new year cant wait for the next year
I thought Predator would be here
Hamzah Mohammad it’s a best of list... not worst
Yesssssssss.....a super disappointment for hardcore fans !!!!!
Yeah me too
I laughed so much through most parts of that hideous movie.
Yes!!! I didn't watch the whole film. But as an employee at a theatre I happened to walk in on the end and I thought it was the stupidest, lamest, and most horrible thing I had watched. For some reason it seems like ever since Kevin Peter Hall passed away they haven't been able to make a good Predator film.
Robin hood wasnt in the top ten??
I mean in his review it sounded like Jeremy at least liked it as a fun to watch bad movie, which would save it from this list.
Maybe he just forgot it even existed like most people did
I liked it
@@pwarner184 That sounds about right

Skyscraper was my worst movie of 2018 that I saw. It was absolute shit.
I loved it. It was extremely stupid...

My worst movie of the year was the predator, I was soo looking forward to it and it killed any hope of a sequel done right.
Exactly!! After this fuckin movie I just stopped going to the cinema for like 3 months... It was just horrible!
I still don’t understand how they could fuck up something as simple as fucking Predator, but they did it. It was worse than the AvP movies. I’d rather watch Alien: Resurrection and AvP: Requiem after that, than watch The Predator again.
PREDATOR WAS GOOD
Nope, it was a great movie.
Agreed but Venom was a piece of shit too
Jeremy! Please react to Vader: Episode 1 Shards of the past! I’m sure you know about it, please react to it to help give it traction, we need to get this fan film out there!
Worst movie 2018 Happy Time Murders if that thing doesn't tank Melissa McCarthy's career ... It should
Can You Ever Forgive Me saved her.
Her career needs to end
Here comes the comments of "I actually liked _________"
Most of them fill that blank with Solo: A Star Wars Story
50 SHADES TRILOGY being the worst of the decade.
I’m glad you put Solo on the list. I enjoyed The Strangers: Prey At Night for what it was lol
5:24 - I choose to believe the "the foreshadowing was blatantly obvious and the jumpscares were abundant" is still describing your experience with "Where's Waldo".
You didn't like SWOLO: a Cash Grab $tory?

A cash grab that bombed at the box office. How ironic.
To be fair, the Narnia movies were successful. They only stopped because of some legal contract expiration shenanigans or something like that.
2:01... " they're going to fuck it into the dirt "... 😂😂😂
I looked forward to Nutcracker for an entire year and was severely disappointed! Enjoyed this video :)
Thank you for all your videos this year Jeremy. Looking forward to seeing more in 2019 :)
To people saying Fantastic Beasts,Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom or Venom should have been here, you clearly haven't watched enough movies this year to be able to make a list.
Roni 99 and venom in my opinion was a decent movie
A lot of people liked Venom including Jeremy.
@@TheCrumpers53 Uh have you seen Jeremy's review of Venom? He disliked it, gave it the good time if you're drunk rating.
I agree except for Venom. Venom was an incompetent mess, and I’ve seen a lot of shitty movies this year. If I made a top 10 of what I’ve seen so far, it’d likely be around 6-10.
@@beneales agreed.. The movie had a 18min prologue, edited like a reversed return of the king.. And it went downhill
Probably won’t read this but I’d love it if you reviewed more Netflix movies. I’d like to hear what you think about bird box and the new black mirror movie
So Holmes and Watson is gonna be on your worst for 2019? ...Jeremy I need to knooooooooooooow

Please no
Fifty shades After??
I liked Prey at Night. It had some nice scenes like the pool scene and some great tributes to older horror films like Scream and Texas Chainsaw Massacre though it sometimes were too much.
Will you do a netflix's Polar review?
How is Solo on the list, and not Predator
this
It's so bad that he might have forgotten that movie even existed :V
@@postarmenia Very lucky if that's the case
Simple. Solo sucked.
Both are shit
This isn't per say the worst movie of the year, but The Crimes of Grindlewald was really quite disappointing for me. It just felt all over the place and I can remember coming out of the theater and being amazed that that was a 2 hour movie.
That movie was a fucking let-down. Johnny Depp's presence was fucking enough to sink this shit down.
Not even halfway through I was looking around like is it over? Painfully long and couldve been wrapped up in 30 minutes
This is what happens when what was supposed to be a trilogy is turned into a 5-part series. I'm a huge HP fan, but Rowling did to Fantastic Beasts what Peter Jackson did to The Hobbit.
I just remember getting pissed if at the end when I realized they were stretching it out so they could make another movie
*per se
so many movies we haven’t heard of... great reviews!
I already forgot that Solo came out this year. It's such a distant memory.
