@FrightmareYT Dude, I’ve never heard of this film, but had a look at the creatures and needed to watch it. an about 20 minutes into and am enjoying it. LOL Thanks!
The One Eyed Monster from One Eyed Monster (yes it what you think) The Killer Shrews from The Killer Shrews, dogs in costumes . The killer tyre from Rubber. The giant rabbits from Night of the Lepus.
I always thought Rawhead Rex was daft - although I have a fondness for the movie. I know Clive Barker hated what they did to his original demon concept.
"The Creeping Terror" This barks more than a dog pound. Got it out for a laugh just because it was an old B/W cheap stinker from the Courtney Place in Wellington, New Zealand branch of Blockbuster (early 80s). Absolutely ridiculous looking monster from outer space. I won't even try to describe it; we never laughed at a film so much that was not intended to be a comedy.
The Giant Spider Invasion and Night of the Lepus are bad too.The Giant Claw fx are awful, they ran out of money and asked a couple of Mexican fx "artists" to come up with the monster.😃
Hey Bryn, fun topic and great list, you always find a new way to prolong my addiction to your channel, here's a quick list of my own : the Wasp Woman, Robot Monster, Shin Godzilla second form, King Caesar in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla, King Kong in King Kong Escape, the Blood Beast Terror, the werewolf in The Beast Must Die (just a big gentle looking dog), The X from Outer Space, Creature from the Haunted Sea…
Great topic, HorrorHands. My vote literally goes to the dogs because the '59 version of Attack of the Killer Shrews has to be home to the goofiest pack of monsters. I do find the film entertaining, though.
Hooray! What a great video and list, thank you. I laughed so hard when you said about the killer tomatoes "just step on them and squish them and you'll be fine" 😂 that's why I love that movie it's just so ridiculous. Plus the theme song is an earworm. So excited to check out some of the movies on the list, especially need to see those zombie beavers in action. Thanks again!
Good list Bryn. Cheered when I saw that dopey monster from Hellraiser, totally agree with you on that. I need to stop watching your videos before I compile my list to see if we get duplicates. For instance the Giant Claw FX are worthy of any list but I wanted to go with a few not mentioned. My list is chosen on silliness, disappointment and sheer badness of FX. Well, here goes the neighbourhood… Little flying demon, that bit where she tries to trim its claws! 🤣 - Demons 2 (1986) Eye monsters and Satan - These FX were P-poor, the eye monsters look like the ‘Vindaloovians’ from Red Dwarf - The Edge of Hell (1987) (AKA Rock and Roll Nightmare) Mel - The haunted tree stump that somehow manages to out-act Joan Collins - Tales That Witness Madness (1973) Euterpe - haunted piano, eh? - Torture Garden (1967) Cyclops - Dreadful FX, I think they must’ve sold lemonade outside the producer’s house to make up the budget, but watchable by being fun - Cyclops (2008) The abomination creature in the kitchen cupboards, this was just nuts IIRC - not seen for 30 years, super gory but SO bad - The Abomination (1986) Ro-Man . The gorilla with a Victorian diving helmet on its head - Robot Monster (1953) Louis - The butler ghost, I really disliked this film when I saw it on release - Ghost Chase (1987). MAC - The creature design and entire film were truly, truly AWFUL! - Mac and me (1988). The manitous unleashed at the end of The Manitou (1978) - I read the book years ago before I saw the film and was SO disappointed by the big manitou spirits like the Great Old One, Star Beast and Lizard of the Trees. A very cool film though. Misquamacus rocks! If only we’d got Revenge of the Manitou.
Glad you agree with me on Hellraiser. Rock and Roll Nightmare almost/should have made the list. I watched The Abomination recently - reminded me of The Deadly Spawn 😁 Agree with you on Mac and Me - that is a true horror film!!!
@@horrorhands666 Yes and I don’t get that big winged beast at the end of hellraiser either. Never have. That tramp wandering about. Eh? Why’s that relevant? Seen the film countless times and do enjoy it (I personally prefer the second one) but the rubbery creature in the corridor and the tramp turning into a flying monster aren’t well explained and aren’t very good.
Some pretty funny entries here, Bryn. The monster from 'It Conquered the World' looks kinda like a killer traffic cone.. The one that comes to my mind is: Belial Bradley from 'Basket Case' kinda ridiculous looking, but having said that,.. I do love the the movie. Cheers! to another fun video/topic.
Great list there mate 😅 Zombeavers! I feel the same about that corridor scene in hellraiser. Hobgoblins too I've resisted picking up after seeing so many clips, all showing how terrible it really is, like u say it dose have a way of tempting u back after a while 😅
I love the part in The Giant Claw when the scientists bring up an image of the creature's face on their computer and it looks like a gormless Muppet. Great choices, but I'm surprised you didn't include Ro-Man from Robot Monster - now that really is a daft (yet loveable) creation. Incidentally, I wore out my VHS copy of Return of the Killer Tomatoes. Even now, I reckon I could quote it word-for-word!
Yeah, that’s really funny! 🤣 Ro-Man almost made the list, if I do a Part 2 he’ll definitely be on it. I didn’t know anyone liked Return of the Killer Tomatoes that much lol 😂👍
You right Bryn sooo many more silly monsters out there like your more in fear of dying from laughing like The Trollenberg Terror, The Blood Beast Terror, Robot Monster, The Robot from Devil Girl from Mars, Rubber, Killer Condom, Gingerdead Killer man, and Jack frost, all i can say about the The Giant Claw is ... Feed the world, let them know it's Thanksgiving time again Feed the world, let them know it's Thanksgiving time again : }
Great list mate, yeah I never understood that silly plastic monster in Hellraiser it looks fake as hell. Totally agree with the list I would also include Turki ( so dumb) and that film about the killer tire 😂have a nice weekend pal
Yeah, it’s a cool looking creature - I just don’t think it belongs in Hellraiser. I need to see Rubber (the killer tire one), nearly bought it specifically for this video lol. Have a great weekend too.
Some of the creatures/aliens featured in Irwin Allen's original Lost In Space series are amazingly bad. Same could be said for the critters that appear in Voyage To The Bottom Of The Sea, although I love both series. I'd never heard of Evil Bong. The title alone made me really laugh. Thanks very much.
I enjoy the Evil Bong movies and Zombiebeaver. The most recent Evil Bong movie probably cost 200 bucks lol! The recent ones use a ton of green-screen. Giant Claw and tomatoes are on my tbw list. The beach ball villain in John Carpenter’s Dark Star is pathetic lol! It inspired Lucas to try to make Star Wars as realistic as possible. I might try Hobgoblins, even though it looks terrible lol! I’m enjoying your vid! 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥🦇🦇🦇🦇
I agree that Hobgoblins is the worst of the Gremlins clones. I have to be in the right mood to get through it. Not seen a couple of these 50s monsters. Not seen Evil Toons either, and have wanted to for a while. Can we watch that at yours next time I'm over please?
Hi! Love the video.gah that song in killer tomatoes is forever in my brain lol. My favorite ridiculous design is from rawhead rex. Could've been epic movie, creepy idea, great scenery, great acting but dang, that monster design was so stiff and emotionless..bleh😂
There has definitely been some real kooky creatures over the years in monster movies, and these are some of the most notable. They are all part of the charm of being a creature feature buff. I have a few of those movies myself. They are a lot of fun. Great video, Bryn.
Such an excellent idea for a video. For me personally, I'd have to go with the killer plants from "Day of the triffids". I remembered hearing the concepts of this movie when I was a kid and thought it sounded ridiculous. Then there's "Killer Srews" which were border collies with a rug thrown over them 😂. I still love the movie though. Finally, the zombie sheep in "Black sheep". Granted, it's a comedy but such a silly creature, as well as the sheep like werewolf in it too 😂. Great content Bryn 👍
Thank you, mate! Great suggestions. Yeah, I still like Day of the Triffids and The Killer Shrews despite their silliness. Black Sheep was funny. Thanks for watching.
Hi Bryn, a couple in here I’ve never heard of….🧐 I would have loved to have seen the movie pitch for Killer Tomatoes 😆 oh my god, The Giant Claw is hilarious, it always put me in mind of Rod Hull’s Emu…(maybe a distant cousin) 🤣 the monster in It Conquered The World (a Venusian) must have been frightening to viewers back in the day as the film had an X certificate (equivalent to an 18) because when it’s is killed with fire, they claim (the censors, that it was animal cruelty 😮) From Hell It Came sounds like a hoot 😃 nice one mate, take care👍😃👍
Yeah, that would have been an interesting conversation about killer tomatoes! That X certificate for It Conquered the World is crazy! Thanks for watching, mate.

The Giant Claw may have left me with lifelong brain damage, but the. . .the. . .the. . .the Weremoth! Oh, the inconceivable agony! The unparalleled suffering! The. . .the. . .oh, someone save me! 😱
My vote goes to Attack Of The Beast Creatures from 1985. The budget for the entire film couldn't have been more than £4.70, and I absolutely love it.
Yeah, that one was so cheap and tacky 😂 great suggestion
@FrightmareYT Dude, I’ve never heard of this film, but had a look at the creatures and needed to watch it. an about 20 minutes into and am enjoying it. LOL Thanks!
The One Eyed Monster from One Eyed Monster (yes it what you think)
