Some good movies for Halloween: The Monster Squad, Beetlejuice, Fear Street: Part One - 1994 from Netflix, Fear Street: Part Two - 1978, Fear Street: Part Three - 1666 from Netflix, Ghost Stories on Shudder, Sleepy Hollow, Trick R' Treat, Casper, Hocus Pocus, Under Wraps, Ghostbusters, Monster House, Night of the Demons, The Midnight Hour, The Forgotten One, ParaNorman, Waxwork part 1, Tales from the Hood, The Frighteners, Goosebumps, Creepshow, The Gate, Lady in White, Killer Party, Fright Night part 1, The Night Flier, The Lost Boys, Demons part 1, The Changeling, Poltergeist, The Mortuary Collection, Corpse Bride, Stake Land, Hellboy from Guillermo del Toro, Blade part 1, The Woman in Black, Crimson Peak, The Devil's Backbone, The Conjuring part 1, Evil Dead, Cabin in the Woods, Tales from the Crypt: Demon Knight, House part 1, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie, Dog Soldiers, My Demon Lover and Pumpkinhead!!!
Thanks for these updates Double H, they’re very useful. I definitely like the sound of that Mexican rural survival slasher, sounds great. I’ve not seen Graverobbers or Cemetery of Terror either, so thanks for that, they’re now on my hit list. Oddly enough the other standout for me was probably Homicycle which sounded good but it depends on if I can find it for 50p or cheaper. I’ve seen Bloodbath at the House of Death a few times over the years, it’s quite good fun. I’ve also seen Devil Times Five ages ago, it’s not bad, it’s fairly low budget and daft but IIRC it’s quite mean spirited and the kids are suitably nuts. Keep up the good work. Appreciated.
Thank you, Cliff. Glad you find the updates useful. Any of those Mexican movies from VS are worth seeking out. Finding Homicycle for less really made me laugh. I watched Devil Times Five last night and found the kids rather terrifying!
Jester is the feature film debut based on the 3 short horror films Jester 1, 2 and 3, which are all on RUclips. I was expecting a bit more, since I really enjoyed all 3 horror shorts on RUclips.
Awesome Pickups Bryn! I got Amanda and the Alien on the shelf. I need to get to watching it soon. I had fun watching Bloodbath at House of Death also. I didn’t care for Brooklyn 45 too much. It was a little too slow for me. Hell’s Trap I really enjoyed. It was a Good Time. I’m curious about that film The Jester. Thanks for Sharing Buddy!👊🏼💀
Thanks, Leon. I watched Brooklyn 45 last night and agree with you - it’s a bit too slow. Glad you enjoyed Hell’s Trap as well, I thought it was awesome.
Great video again you love your low budget creature features ive seen a few of the films some good some awful but we all like different movies the joy of film collecting
Creature from Cannibal Creek ......... I NEED to see this adorable dude! I love that you watch a load of shit films so that we dont have to endure them. A few here that are now on my list, thank you ❤
I really enjoyed the invitation! Although i remember i recommend it to a work friend years ago and she absolutely hated it 😂 i would say shes more of a disney girl so, my bad for being too excited after my 1st viewing of it and wanting to tell everyone i knew all about it 😅
Speaking of Larry Fessenden, do you have the Zavvi Blu Ray release of We Are Still Here? It was limited to 500 and came in a red case. It's long out of print, but does pop up on Ebay from time to time.
My Emanuelle sense was tingling. At first I thought it was because I was being chased by ruffians in the jungle. Turns out, I just needed to watch this video. The Mummy and the Curse of the Jackals? Well, that certainly looks a bit me-friendly.
But you can never let your guard down when it comes to ruffians in the jungle. It does look suitable wacky for your taste - I’ll let you know what I think when I’ve watched it.
Great vid Bryn! So the “Elf On The Shelf” phenomenon hasn’t hit Britain yet? Consider yourselves lucky. If you didn’t know, it’s a little doll people put in various places in their house during the Christmas season. It’s only fun when you set it up doing something disgusting to a Barbie doll and then watch people’s reactions.
@@horrorhands666 LOL! Yeah, when you have kids you wind up with a ton of these god-awful traditions. You keep all of it in storage for 11 months, bust your back setting it all up, and then the kids couldn’t care less. But if you don’t set it up every year, they scream and yell. 😩
Loads of interesting picks last month. Havent seen a single one I must admit, but might check out a few of them. Funny that there was a Night of the walking dead in there, as I mentioned it as a proxy title for Romeroes Night of. yesterday.
I picked up Nightmare Sisters, Deadly Embrace and Murder Weapon in a 80's Scream Queen triple pack, Bloody Birthday, Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers and Sweet Sixteen,
Morning mate, great pick ups. The first omen was another in the pointless cash ins of old movies, awful mate, Hell on a shelf looks craptastic 😂. Have an awesome weekend pal
Morning, Martin. Yes, really didn’t see the point of The First Omen. Craptastic is definitely the right word for Hell on the Shelf! Thanks for watching.
Cannibal Creek monster cover/movie comparison made me almost roll off my chair! 🤣- Loved the cover for Axecalibur as well! Nice pick ups last month my guy.
I've just ordered that Mummy/Jackals blu ray, and will also be sending off for Devil Times Five. There are quite a few other titles you mentioned there, Bryn, which have also captured my interest. That Danza Macabra box set looks gorgeous and, as such, is also very tempting to order. However, since experiencing some huge disappointments with the two Christopher Lee box sets and the first Danza Macabra box set - plus a few others - I have got some reservations now about venturing to blind buy more box sets, so we'll see (pardon the pun). Glad you liked Bloodbath At The House of Death. I am looking fwd to revisiting that myself. That Ouija Shark movie looks bonkers (lol)! God, how many more Jaws rip offs are they going to make? Great pickups, Bryn. Really enjoyed watching.
I’ve just watched the Mummy/Jackal film and ifs a delightfully entertaining bit of cheese. I have a spoiler free review going up tomorrow but can definitely recommend it. I know what you mean about these box sets, the collector in me just gets them for the collection (as consumerist as that may be!). Ouija Shark is awful lol. Thanks for watching, Alan.
Cant say much on your pick ups bryn because i haven't seen or heard most of them but i did pick up island of terror, funeral home, sting, pray, wednesday and alligator and i did watch longlegs (dissapointing) Alien Romulus (bad cgi can kill a movie) In a Violent Nature (tooooo much walking for me) and Stopmotion (enjoyed) now i can talk all week about those movies but the funny thing is no one will listen to me : (
I’ll check out that Vincent price movie! Never heard of it. And I never heard of that comic actor. I’ll check out Brooklyn 45 and Dark Tales. I’m enjoying your vid! 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎃🎃🎃🎃🦇🦇🦇🦇
Some of these movies are probably not too bad for the £2-£3 price you paid - the bonus being that they’ll become very obscure in a few decades time and the DVDs will probably become quite valuable. Not that you care too much about the value of your collection - it’s more about the love of the movies I’m sure. But out of interest - do you know what your most valuable movie is (excluding big expensive box sets)?
Looks very cool films very none mainstream 😁 do you like British ghost stories bean picking up the M.R James ghost story for Christmas episodes from the 1970s really good recommend 😊
Awesome pick ups Bryn. I need to pick up bloodbath at the house of death. I loved annihilation. I've been curious about Brooklyn 45. Creature from cannibal creek was fun. I just picked up the dead girl in apartment 03, i haven't watched it yet. Death reel sounds interesting.
Some pretty interesting pick ups here. I can't say I've heard of most of them but that only urges the curiosity. I'm familiar with "Bloodbath at the house of death", though it's one I'm still yet to watch. I've also seen "The invitation" and yeah, I really enjoyed that one, I thought it was very well done.
I dunno what you're on about, the cover picture and screenshot for Cannibal Creek look identical to me. Some great low budget nonsense in this months grabs. I do like the look of Hells Trap and plan to get that. Do you have Profane Exhibit on pre order? Comes out this month after sitting on a shelf for ten years, an anthology of extreme shorts directed by the likes of Deodato, Marian Dora, Ryan Nicholson, Uwe Bolle, Can't wait for that.
What can I say?! I’m no expert on identifying creatures from Cannibal Creek! I’ve never heard of Profane Exhibit, but that definitely sounds like something I want to check out 👍
Great pick ups this month. I haven't seen Emanuelle and the Last Cannibals yet but it's high up on my watch list, have you ever seen Emanuelle in America? Damn that movie surprised me, has some pretty strong stuff in it including an underground snuff movie ring. Surprisingly hardcore and dark given the bland title. Got to say I totally agree about The First Omen, I watched it last week and was left very cold. The atmosphere was decent and it had some cool visuals and set pieces, however it seemed whoever wrote the script had not even seen the original movie. There seemed to be no effort to link the stories together or respect the law behind Damiens birth...not to mention adding an additional element to the story that is ultimately nothing more than a cynical opportunity to make a sequel. In my opinion I agree, Immaculate was the superior film. Thanks for sharing your collection and all the best!
Thank you, Howard. I have seen Emanuelle in America and yes, it has some shocking stuff. Definitely not one you'd expect to be so strong based on the title and somewhat forgettable plot. Glad you agree with me on The First Omen - couldn't have put it better than you with your comment :)
U Sound like me mate nice to get the 4 k with a slipcover 🙂, yeah first omen was ok think i liked it more than you, devil times 5 i just picked up the Blu-ray,

Well, it doesn't hurt to have a few total dogs in a movie collection. Gives you something to have a laugh at in the right kind of altered mood.

i had bloodbath at the house of death on vhs when i was a kid, the surgery scene was hilarious
Yes, that scene had me laughing. Very fun movie 🙂👍
Great video again you love your low budget creature features ive seen a few of the films some good some awful but we all like different movies the joy of film collecting

Creature from Cannibal Creek ......... I NEED to see this adorable dude! I love that you watch a load of shit films so that we dont have to endure them. A few here that are now on my list, thank you ❤
No worries, man. Set your expectations to low for Creature From Cannibal Creek 😉
Nice collection, Bryn. I am a sucker for B/Indie Horror films as well, if only they had the big budget that "Hollywood" movies have. 🙂
Thank you. Yes, I can’t resist some b movie trash lol
I really enjoyed the invitation! Although i remember i recommend it to a work friend years ago and she absolutely hated it 😂 i would say shes more of a disney girl so, my bad for being too excited after my 1st viewing of it and wanting to tell everyone i knew all about it 😅
Haha, I can see why someone wouldn’t like it and may find it too slow. Thanks for watching.
I can see it now...Art vs The Jester...in the same mold of Freddy vs Jason or Alien vs Predator.
I appreciate your content HH...keep em coming!
Oooh, I’d definitely watch that. Thank you, BBB
Speaking of Larry Fessenden, do you have the Zavvi Blu Ray release of We Are Still Here? It was limited to 500 and came in a red case. It's long out of print, but does pop up on Ebay from time to time.
I just have a regular blu ray of We Are Still Here. Great movie though 👍
Devil Times Five is an above average slasher.Brooklyn 45 was one of my favorite horror movies of 2023.
Thanks for letting me know. Glad you enjoyed Brooklyn 45.

Ah, man! I loved Immaculate. Glad you enjoyed The First Omen though 👍
