One was Halloween III steelbook for $19.99, which amazon now has for a ghastly $99. Others were Shattered (highly underrated film starring Tom Berenger), Crank, Payback, and End of Watch.

I discovered the DVD/Blue Ray section at The Dollar Tree a few months back. I've picked up a few titles there and it may well be worth a stop if your there. They do have some blue rays.

Agreed, i buy all my Blu Rays from my local pawns. All are 2 to 3 bucks and 98% of the time in great condition. Love pawns and flea markets.

I noticed that multi-format blu ray are much cheaper on Amazon than the standard blu ray version. Is there a difference between multi-format and blu ray version? Maybe this is another way to save on movies from Amazon.

I got about 20 Blu rays for $1 each at dollar tree. 2014 robocop, transcendence, 300, 300 rise of an empire, inherent vice, bad Santa 2, run all night, wrath of the titans, into the storm and more.
Same movies I got the first time l found out about Dollar Tree Blu-ray waves.
I'm guessing the US blu-ray of Maniac (2012) was out of print for awhile because I got it as a Christmas gift years ago. In fact I just searched Amazon and there's a us version on sale for 14.99. Unless you meant there's something unique about the Canadian release.

Pro trick: you can watch series on flixzone. Been using it for watching lots of of movies during the lockdown.

Check out Hamilton Books they have some really good titles and the prices are not bad. Build 1/4 of my collection on Hastings.com. was so sad when they cloze3 down. Two places that are good to buy cheap blurays at discounted prices is in big lots. The movies are from 3.99 to 5.99 once a month they add to their inventory so in a monthly basis i pick up 20 to 30 titles. Another place that i go are the redbox machines i pick up the new titles cheap and new they are beginning to sell the 4K movies for 6.99 or 7.99.

Most Ebay listings have them in pristine condition.” So yeah, as someone who buys used and scores big on titles like this doesn’t see any deals on Hamilton book.. especially if it doesn’t specify whether the slipcover is included or not. Just an ok option for sealed catalog titles.. but I wouldn’t pay the prices he has on stuff that should have a slip

Thanks always enjoy knowing a good source to get good prices, i am writing this comment today in hopes you could help me out getting my hands on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - The Original Tv Series from like 87 to 93 there was 10 seasons i really don't want to buy it digitally as i want a physical copy of this been hard to find there a dvd listed on amazon but its out stock forever and i really want a blu ray over that. Other than ebay do you have any other place you could recommend ? I really just want this series to remind me of my childhood and so on loved this as a kid. I believe there was a blu ray release just hard to find. Plus vudu want 10$ per season which is crazy can get it on prime for 31$ but its only digital.

Damn, I ordered The King of Queens complete series on Blu-Ray from them then I was a little sketchy about them after reading comments and reviews of people saying it's been months and they never got their movies so I cancelled my order within 10-15 minutes of placing it. Maybe I'll give them another shot!

Some good deals on there. I’ve never bought from them, how’s there packaging? I see some steelbooks on there, but I’m kind of weary buying them online after having a few come damaged from Amazon.
Nick S they come packaged in a pretty sturdy cardboard box, staples at the ends and a pull tab through the middle. I’ve never had a damaged copy, but I’ve also never purchased Steel books.

True story: You can find really cheap, somewhat obscure blu-rays at Dollar General and Big Lots. Normally would never shop at either, but I found some gems for $3-5. A Serious Man, Moonrise Kingdom, Quantum of Solace, Fargo, Assassination of Jesse James. Dollar Tree can have some steals as well. Pretty cool to visit and look through if you have the patience.
Big Lots is also a great space to buy! I should do a video on my latest haul from them.
Bruh go to cash converters/cash generator i picked up a blu-ray for £1 which had the dvd version inside as well!

Yeah, the prices are pretty good and great for niche collectors. But I also scrolled through the first 7 pages of "most popular" (700 titles!) and nothing caught my eye either. And I'm not even looking for current/new-release either, just favourite/older catalogue movies and still nothing...I guess it just depends on your taste.
