I moved! Check out the new movie room: ruclips.net/video/7Hs7IQNZ_0A/видео.html
Me and my girlfriend are moving in together and she says I must bring my Alien-glass-vitrine to the new place... that’s when you know you met the right woman 😅 Great man cave man!!
Pro tip for new collectors: Have a 'New Arrivals' section of a shelf where you can store all new additions. The more pieces in your collection, the more time consuming it will be to add them in. All media stores have a new arrivals section for this reason.
I have a storage cabinet in my media room for new/unwatched media, the rest I keep in my computer room. Great idea
Don't let it get to you. To a lot of these kids on RUclips, anyone over 18 might as well be 50.
Indeed. And there's nothing wrong with being 50.
Those 2000 born lil bastards , let them keep using the dog snap chat filter

How are you donating movies to activate military? I have a lot of Blu-ray that could be donated.
What are the small shelves in the closet? I don’t have a ton of space.
Great video! Keep up the good work! I remember you saying you collect vinyl as well. I would be interested in you doing a video on your vinyl collection and baseball cards.
@@ericthomas720 I did a vinyl video! It’s on my channel
@@darrenorange2982 I work with a lawyer out of Boston who ships them out to various Navy ships across the country. Send me an email and we can talk
Hey, man. I never considered myself a “RUclips Subscriber” before pandemic but you have helped me get through this! I appreciate your down to earth approach it feels like someone I grew up with... my movie room is a mess too. Thank you 🙏
My man cave is not pristine.
It's refreshing seeing a room that you just enjoy your hobby in and not worrying about it being neat and tidy.
That leaves more time for enjoying movies.
Loved the video! Awesome collection of movies and collectibles. The fact that you took the video without tidying up the room, feels much more authentic and true to life, very resonating! Kudos man, keep up the good work. 👍🤓
Wow! Now that is the ultimate movie room. Great work, bud! Love the setup! Gives me some ideas for my Man Cave/Movie Room that is still in progress. Many thanks for the video tour.👍✌️😀
Nice collection and nice components I especially want to thank you for helping and supporting the U.S. Navy I am retired USN and appreciate all the things you do to help our sailors and warriors keeping this country and the world safe. I also have an extensive movie collection it grew 10 fold once I joined the USN 20+ years ago (Blu-ray, DVD, VHS, 4K etc., 10,000 plus and growing just got 350+ for Christmas Thank you for your great reviews and supporting physical media. My equipment (on a budget and don't have a lot of room) is a LG CX65" 4K, a Phillips 4K Blu-ray player with Dolby Vision upgrade (my LG 4K Dolby vision is in the shop) and for sound JBL 5.1 Sound bar which I just got in December and its awesome, and I am 50+ time flies when your having fun and seeing the world which I literally have a few times over keep up the great reviews stay safe.
I bought the elevation speakers off your recommendation and I’m so glad I’m not the only one that has been a bit lazy about waiting to mount them 😂
Thanks for sharing. It answers one of my previous posted questions. Much appreciate your reviews.
Dude. You must get some room darkening curtains. They're a must have. Great room.
Room looks great. Alot of creative storage with vaulted ceilings. Great job.
Yeah it’s tough with the ceilings. Some day it will be a room over a garage instead
@@JeffRauseo Awesome. Totally always improving 👍🏻
@@JeffRauseo Yeah your room seems like a 5lb bag and you have 20 lbs of shit so hopefully you can upgrade to that 20lb bag. But you're definitely making it work. Love seeing all the collectibles, awesome collection.
@@intense79nick yeah I need to get that bag first! Then we can build a bigger room over the garage we want to add down the line.
Wow, what a movie enthusiast! Rly knows how to enjoy films at home lol 👏👏
Happy New Year! I hope you cross 100k subscribers this year. Keep up the good content.
Just picked up an SVS PB-1000 Piano Glass White subwoofer to begin replacing my JBL dated Northridge and I have to say the subs they make are excellent! I will be eventually moving forward with all prime speakers as well! great choice!
Love your set up! I’ve been a Sony guy for years so our main room TV is a 70” Sony 4K. Had a Sony Dolby Atmos receiver with 7 surround speakers but we recently moved and I was tired of dealing with all of the cables. Decided to get a JBL 9.1 Atmos soundbar with wireless rear speakers and subwoofer. I have to say that I am super pleased with the sound quality. Also nice to see a fellow horror fan. Love the Kane Hodder-signed Jason mask and the Freddy bust! My office also doubles as our movie room and my horror movie memorabilia room. Was finally able to pull a lot of my horror stuff out of storage after 10 years!
Very cool. It’s amazing all the stories behind people’s man caves!
Super nice movie seats. I love it. Awesome collection
The "F.R.I.E.N.D.S" sign poster is incredible hah
Very nice man. I can’t wait for my Mancave!
Love it, that’s a proper “man cave” I’ve had to be satisfied with a more cut back version , living in a smaller uk house 😂😂
That's awesome, Jeff. I love that Patriots memorabilia. The dynasty is over, but long live our Pats! I'm from Mississippi, BTW.
Love the video. Everything just looks awesome. I hope to one day do a similar setup for myself. Happy new year 🎉
Excellent walkthrough my man great setup! Super jealous of that Hereditary Screenplay 😭 Trying to get my hands on a copy of that.
This might be a useful suggestion but I think your room would be perfect for those SVS ultra surrounds. Honestly man once you get bipole surrounds you won’t go back. I think they could work for your room. Huge SVS fan here. Just got that massive PB 16 ultra in the fall along with the elevations as well and 🤯 keep up the great work man loving the channel and love that you are keeping physical media ALIVE! Too many people in my home theater group are strictly streaming and it’s so incredibly sad to see.
I can vouch that this TV is amazing. I have it’s older brother a 75 inch X900E and to this day? This tv STILL blows me away. Just don’t got Dolby Vision like your model has. VERY solid man cave setup. Bought my first home and now I’m on the hunt to get a 5.1 home theater setup! 😎
Great setup! Thanks for the link to the shelves. I am running out of room and that’ll help.
I really dig your channel. Have my best wishes, from Colombia.
I got my Valencia home theater seats yesterday - fantastic seating!
Been waiting on this one for a while bro 😂
Love all your videos. Don’t be sorry about the mess, i none. Thanks for the tour.
Nice, thank you for sharing your theater system!!
You need to get that atmos speakers up!! 🔊
I just got a 65” Sony A8H and love it. I rock Paradigm. Have an old Marantz receiver, but I’m going back to Denon when I upgrade to 4K
Are you doing a review on “Come and see?” I noticed it on the small table. That movie was very very unique!
Really nice HT tour you have got. Don't care about people comment about you, you look totally awesome, I am a movie maniac too and your video review about movies make my hobby grow even stronger.
Great tour of your man cave I've had one these past 20 years !! Well done 🖖
That is so cool! Thanks for showing us!
This is awesome. I love seeing other man caves!
I like your setup. I need to tidy up our basement where we got the big screen set up.
Unreal setup!
Love the Channel. Hey you should take off the white plastic caps that hold your trays on your Theatre seats. It is metal underneath and looks alot better. I have the Tuscany seats. Again love your channel, I live up in Canada take care and stay safe.
Very nice Jeff! I recommend the Lenzie Baker box set if u don't have it, got it today and it's extraordinary! Close Encounters 4K set is awesome as well
Cool man. I envy your hair, but I’m 52. You are clearly a collector like me. I have only about 200 or so DVD/blurays but about 5400 CDs and 2000 books, mostly in one bedroom of my house. Many bought from charity shops. My hifi and home cinema room is downstairs in a dedicated room. I also have lots of ho r we can hifi and synthesisers and guitars. Man cave heaven. I live alone.
thanks for the videos, they helped me get deeper into collecting
Nice collection! Mine was starting to get big so I took an honest look at it one day and decided which movies I would truly want to re-watch and which ones I wouldn't. The ones that I wouldn't were given or traded away, and the stuff that I was iffy about went into wallets (I kept the slipcovers however). Now I am very selective about which movies find their way into my collection, although I am more lenient with horror movies LOL. Anyway, thanks for the tour!
Love the room. I have a section of our basement for my theater. 5.1.2 and a Samsung 2020 Samsung tv. 2 shelf’s for movies need more but working with what I have. Love collecting movies and am on a mission to replace all Blu-ray’s I can with the 4K versions most of my favorite have been upgraded to 4K. And keep up the good work and collecting. The hardest part of collecting movies is when u have to add more into it. Like if I get a lot of action movies I have to shift my shelf down quite a bit to fit them in and it’s a pain.
I think my collection is roughly 3/4 the size of yours...so, big collection. I have a lot more classic TV shows on DVD and not quite as many movies. But I share your passion for physical media! I'm a video and audiophile, so, greatly appreciate your channel! Keep up the good work!
Really nice setup! Do you prefer TV vs the projectors you had in the past? Epson and BenQ if I recall correctly.
Great room! I'm looking at those Atmos SVS speakers. I've heard nothing but good things on them. 👍
Great room. Love it
Dude this room is sick
Great video. Love the room dude
Really love your content
Very nice. Always good to see another NE sports fan!
Epic room Jeff. The thing that impressed me more than anything is your shear amount of movies. I’m envious of course. I’m curious , do you ever stream a movie?
Hey very nice space! Which subwoofer do you have you didn't mention or link doesn't show exact model? Also you should do an SVS speaker review, would love to hear your true opinion on them. I'm very interested in buying SVS.
Love those theatre seats.
Love your room man I did somewhat the same. Got all my Tennessee Vols sports memorabilia in the same room I have most of my Blu Rays, and TV series DVDs/Blu Rays. Also got a 49 inch Sony X800G, Sony HT X9000F sound bar, and Xbox One S in there. Actually watch most college football games in there because it is very dark. Got the Sony X900H 65 inch in the living room, but the light control and acoustics are better in the extra bedroom/office/man cave.
Can you please do a video on your picture settings for your Sony TV?
Cool room I like it a lot. Enjoyed the video
Cool room. Thanks for the tour.
What settings do you have on your Sony 4k blu ray player!? I'd love a short video on that!
Awesome collection
How do you like that TV for sports? I’m a big hockey fan and have been considering that TV. Great video as always man! Excited to see what 2021 brings for physical media
Nice man cave and vid keep up the great work.
Hey Jeff, great info! Can you tell me what the Atlantic Media shelves are that are shorter? Your link only has the really tall one. I'd like a pair of the shorter ones for my theater as I think they'll fit in nicely.
Hey Jeff great channel good reviews but it got even better once I seen you had some pops!
Ha! I love that intro.
King of the Hill style.
Loved the intro😂
I have the same tv and amp, with q accoustics. Great tour.
Is that x2600h enough power for those awesome SVS speakers? That's a very nice setup.
Damn I love that room. Collection is killer love all of it
Dude this is an amazing room
Nice! Thank you! I wish I had the space for something like this.
I have the same 4k player, do you have issues playing back hdr10 discs sometimes? mine works flawless with dolby vision but I have to manually turn it off for hdr10 discs cause it will still try and put out dolby vision even if the disc doesn't have it. When I watch hdr10 movies they sometimes shut off or don't even start. Luckily I have an xbox one x for those but I'm wondering if you have the same problems.
Don’t even bother Addressing the salt bro, you know how RUclips is just keep doing your thing.the baseball hat Is cool , People should just chill like me have a drink and enjoy the content.
Was just having fun lol
Could we get a video of those baseball cards? I collect too and seems like you have a lot of hits!
Fan of your channel! You think you would ever do a how to transfer vhs to digital video?
Didnt realize you was big into Michael Myers!! Love the bust, I just sent one of my mask to Jimmy falco a couple months ago.
I love the Gerry Cheevers jersey!
That’s the Sony ubp-x700. Awesome Blu Ray player but I’m thinking of replacing mine with x1100es.
Question do you use an app to organize your DVD/Bluray collection?
New sub!! Great content !!
Even though you're a Boston guy, you have the Last Dance. I appreciate that.
Hell yeah man. 90s Bulls are NBA royalty
Just randomly found your channel. Really like your set up. Really need to get those Atlantic media shelves so I can actually organize my collection the way I want them
Welcome! The shelves are really great for the price.
Great tour😀😀
Did you see the new 2021 TV's Sony just announced at CES?
Can you do a vid about why In store 4k demos and why RUclips streamed 4k demos, seem to be alot better quality than 4k movies played on 4k Player?
There can be a lot of reasons for that but primarily the demos are designed to be a "Presentation" to draw you in. Like on an OLED you'll have a demo of all these perfect blacks because everything on there is designed to use those while not every black you see when watching a movie will be like that. like those youtube HDR videos are meant to highlight HDR as much as possible, these demos are only a few minutes long on repeat, it's a lot easier to make EVERY frame perfect in a 3 min demo than it is a 3 hour movie.
a couple other reasons you could end up disappointed comparing home to in store demos
1.How far away do you sit from your home TV? IDK about you but when i'm looking at tvs in store i'm like 3 feet away at most but closer to 6-7 feet away at home. If you're sitting 10+ feet away it can have a huge impact on the value of a 4K tv.
2. What are you watching? not all 4k is created equal it's not hard to buy a 4k tv come home and throw a crummy 4k on not knowing theres a difference, for me when i first got 4k i was unsure if i was doing it "right" until i watched planet earth 2.
3. Screen size, this wraps in with the first one but if you go online it's not uncommon to find people with 40 inch screens not enjoying their 4k setup whille 60"+ people are thrilled. I'm not sure exactly how it goes but someone said something along the lines of The biggest increase of quality you can get from a television upgrade is always the Size. It doesnt matter how many features, types of HDR, HDMI ETC. a tv with a bigger size will contribute more to a positive viewing experience than anything else.
my 63 year old man has a 43 inch 4k in his room he sits 10-ish feet away from he loves. It wasnt as though everytime 4k came on he was blown away by the details it actually started when he'd go back and watch content below 4k it would seem very lacking in comparison.
I see that you don't have the projector set up anymore? Why's that? I have the same tv but would take a projector any day
So I'm close to 2000 movies in my collection. I organize my movies first by category (Action/Adventure, Historical, Martial Arts, Western, War, Comedy, Drama, Family, Science Fiction/Fantasy and Horror). In each category my movies are in alphabetical order. To each movie I place a small colored dot indicating movie runtime (Green = 100 minutes or less, Blue = 101 -> 120 minutes, Yellow = 121 -> 150 minutes, Red = 151 -> 180 minutes and Double Red = greater than 180 minutes). This way I can easily find a movie I'm in the mood for and fits the time I have to watch the movie.
That's crazy I didnt know you donated to the Navy. I was on the Reagan from 2010 to 2012 before going to my next squadron. It was an awesome ship.
SVS speakers & subs are fantastic 👍🏻
Which sub do you have?
Good stuff bud
Hi Jeff, I don't know if you've already talked about it, but can you review Dredd in 4k?
Great Room!
Miami Vice.. nice! You gotta get Crockett and Tubbs Funkos
The navy stuff is awesome my dad was in the navy
Awesome room tour I have that same 4k player
Awesome! Keep it up
