Fantastic pick ups Bryn. Can't wait for your 24 hour marathon. I need to pick up cat and the canary and all that money can buy. The death walks pair is good. Oh boy you are in for a treat with the Pete Walker collection. Frightmare, the comeback, and schizo are my favorites.
Thanks very much, Jason. The Cat and the Canary and All That Money Can Buy are both classic movies. I'm looking forward to going through the Pete Walker set :)
I remember enjoying Doctor Moreau! Definitely gonna watch it again. Mike Meyers said that movie inspired him to create Mini Me. I’ll check out The Last Winter. It’s in the permanent collection of MOMA here in NY. The director made a stop motion Jaws remake in 1978. 3 minutes long lol!
Awesome Haul Bryn! The Death Walks Films I really enjoyed. The Flesh and Blood set is a Beauty! I can’t wait to dig into those films. The Last Winter looks real interesting. Witch Story was Cheesy 80s Horror Fun. Thanks for Sharing!👊🏼💀
Thanks, Leon. I find giallos very hit and miss but really enjoyed Death Walks. I'm very intrigued by The Last Winter. Agree with you on Witch Story! :)
Enjoyed the update, some very cool titles in there for sure. Congrats on all the latest subs! everyone I've turned on to your channel love the style and content you provide, ..so keep doin' what you do. Cheers, buddy! see you on the next one.
I remember watching The Island of Dr. Moreau when it first came out when I was a kid and loved that movie. I also remember batman the animated series doing their own version of it to about the same time
all that money can buy was originally called the devil and daniel webster The film's title was changed to All That Money Can Buy to avoid confusion with another film released by RKO that year
Way to many to mention but, Pete Walker box set is incredible, and you cant beat Mexican Child's Play 😁 Homegrown Horrors vol 3 is great as well, I enjoyed all 3 films.
David Gregory's Documentary "Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau" is a fantastic watch if you enjoyed the film, very insightful. If it isn't an extra on the disk, it should be.
All That Money Can Buy starring Walter Huston as Mr Scratch ( John Huston's father) is a near masterpiece.I love The Cat and the Canary(1927) but the Bob Hope version is good too.I can't believe you waited this long to watch: Fatal Attraction, but better late than never.
I dig the 90s Island of the Dr. Moreau also. Sure, it's not as good as the '77 version, but it's still a really entertaining film. As is the documentary, which others have mentioned. And that's all I've seen here. So I'll show myself out.
I have no idea why that movie gets so much hate! But then again, I have no idea why you haven't opened your llama marshmallow factory to the public yet.
Hi Bryn, All That Money Can Buy is cool. Black and white films are amazing for atmosphere. And talking about atmosphere, I love the creepy music playing in background of your video!!!! I was also wanting to ask u for some advice Bryn. There is some green toxic waste coming out of a drain at the end of my street. Should I report it to the local council or drink some of it??
Yes, All That Money Can Buy is excellent. Glad you like the music in the background! Aaaah, toxic waste! My advice is to set up your own monster-busting business. Sounds like your neighbourhood is going to be overrun by some foul creatures and someone is gonna have to step up! :)
Got to give it to you bryn, you try to watch anything to do with horror like last week it was Carcinoma this week Lisa Frankenstein, next week maybe some old Tom and Jerry : }
How many?! 😧 Very interested to hear about some of those titles particularly When Evil Lurks. IIRC The Ripper is pretty poor but has a couple of decent throat slashings - for some reason they reminded me of the throat slashing in To All A Goodnight. Having said that I don’t think I’ve seen The Ripper since about 1995. Frightmare is a superb film! Likewise, Whipchord. House of Mortal Sin is really good too. You need to watch that set. Die Screaming, Marianne is weak but the others are all decent to excellent. Again, if memory serves although not up to Walker’s previous few horror movies, Schizo has a really unsettling psychic/seance sequence. See how you get on with Coffin Joe. I’ve not seen his later stuff but his early films are really cool. There was so much stuff I can’t remember, what else you asked for opinions on. 😄 Good to see Spectres and Maya get a release, I haven’t seen either of those in several decades, in fact I think the last time I watched Maya I’m not even sure it was in English. Back in those days you watched what VHS prints you could get your hands on whether they were dubbed or not.
Thanks, Cliff! I'm looking forward to watching The Ripper, although my expectations are low! Thanks for letting me know about the Pete Walker movies. Specters was really good. I appreciate you watching :)
Have just ordered Herencia Diabólica, and will probably order a few more you mentioned there, as there are quite a few I haven't seen. That double movie release of SATAN'S BLACK WEDDING/CRIMINALLY INSANE is definitely on my list, as both films sound awesome. Good to see your Pete Walker box set has arrived. Yes indeed, it's a beautiful set, and I am sure you will enjoy all those movies, as in my opinion, there is not a single bad one among them. I watched Lady Frankenstein last week, but unfortunately did not enjoy it. Real cool to see you managed to get IMMACULATE with that nice slipcover. Totally agree with you that the DEATH WALKS IN HIGH HEELS double-movie set is really good. EYES OF THE WEREWOLF sounds a good fun watch. Totally agree with you about DEMETER and IMAGINARY - two of the WORST horror movies I have ever seen. Will definitely be avoiding NIGHT SWIM, as I am not "diving" (pardon the pun) into my wallet for a movie I have heard so many bad reviews about. THE LAST WINTER sounds my kinda film, being a person who prefers cooler weather over uncomfortable heat (lol). I have always loved horror films with snowy settings (e.g. THE SHINING). That SPANISH BLOODBATH trilogy sounds interesting, and I love that cover. Another excellent haul video, Bryn. Really enjoyed watching. Oh, and congratulations on getting all those new subs, Bryn. Well done.
Thank you, Alan! I really want to watch the Peter Walker films after hearing your fantastic review. Looking forward to watching Immaculate as well. Eyes of the Werewolf is really bad, but kind of entertaining lol. I much prefer the cold weather too so will check out The Last Winter when things finally cool down! Thanks again!
Have you checked out Antonia Carlotta's channel? She's a Laemmle, of the Universal Studio founding family. She has recently done reviews of The Cat & the Canary, The Last Voyage of the Demeter, & Lisa Frankenstein, all of which have connections to her family's legacy. I love her channel! ❤
Love the channel matey, fellow Nottingham lad now in Australia. Would love a tv series (tales from the crypt, twighlight zone) video on your favourite episodes
Some great additions there matey.. never seen Cat and Canary before but love my older films so this is one I'll definitely try and track down 😎👍 Clownface looks a potential decent watch.. so bad it's good maybe lol Extra point for the They Live shirt as well.. my fav JC movie of all time 😁👍
Cat and the Canary is really good, it's definitely worth tracking down that edition from Eureka. Clownface was ok, nice to see a uk slasher! Yes, They Live is so cool! :)
Have you seen the original Dr. Moreau film, Island of Lost Souls (1932), starring Charles Laughton as the mad scientist & Bela Lugosi as his main creation? Made while H. G. Wells was still alive! Really gripping & eerie. 👹
@@horrorhands666 Thanks! Burt Lancaster is the mad scientist & Michael York the hero. It's not well-thought-of, either. I've only seen the first one, so I'll love your review. 🏝
Great Haul mate 👍🏻 I love how deep into horror u are that in this Haul I've probably heard of about 5 of these 😅 and I'd count myself as a horror fan! 😅
Hi Jeremy, it doesn't refer to a movie. Firstly, I wanted a catchy name, plus, I wanted to kind of elude to my hands which are affected by a disability. I thought I might have had a lot of people making fun of my appearance so gave myself a name that was already disparaging, without being obvious! Fortunately, I've never had any nasty comments like that and am lucky to have really amazing subscribers! :)
Sorry Bryn, I would have loved to hear your comments about the movies you bought, but I found the spooky music you overlaid onto your voice very distracting. Sorry I couldn't watch this vid.

I love Flowers in the Attic!! It's my favorite psycho-biddy movie ever!
Awesome! I’m looking forward to watching it 😁
Great video :D Woodchipper Massacre is one of my favorite films of all time... Thanks for sharing
Thank you. Always nice to hear from another fan of Woodchipper Massacre! 😄
Thank You for the List and Video 😀
No problem 😊

"Wood chipper massacre" has certainly caught my attention 😂
It’s a very fun no-budget one. Thanks for a watching, mate.

Singapore Sling will test you! It's a notch above Slaughtered Vomit Dolls...there IS a story, and it's extremely dark, not to mention, bleak.
Really?! I didn't know it was that strong.
Quite a haul. your channel name is it in reference to a movie?
He has a video from six years ago which explains it. 📹
