Just picked up a TX22 and I gotta say it runs like a sewing machine! Sights were off but they are windage and elevation adjustable. Quick sight adjustment and it was ringing steel at a blistering pace! Great trigger also. I ran about 500 rounds thru it right out of the box. Field stripped it, cleaned and back together. No wear issues noticed. Great deal at $259!!
He said he would appreciate it if they "came out with a model with the safety removed." Just want everyone to know that they do, I own one. Got about 1,000 rds through it, only issue I have is, if I use the loading tabs on the mags, I get nothing but feeding issues. If I load it like a regular 9mm mag, it runs flawlessly.
Hey I have about the same amount through mine, I noticed that too. My to help with feeding I pull down the tabs and let it go once or twice while loading. It kinda pushes everything into its staggered position. but yeah at least half the time I end up loading it like a normal pistol cartridge
@@bigd7861 Yup. I've used the speedloader for fun, and had zero issues. The only issue I've had from mine so far is just issues with the ammo itself. I also find that if you do use the assist tabs, if you gently tap the back of the magzine (while holding it in a safe direction) to seat them, no real issues from feeding.
Based off this review, bought one at my LGS and 8 mags in March. Four months later and roughly 4k rounds through it (several brands and grain sizes). I have had 5 total failures [2 ftf, 3 fte] and all occurred during a range period when I didnt clean the gun after a 650 round range session [2 boxes of Federal Lead bulk 36 grain]. The gun is legit the best .22 handgun and I'll wager a solid edc item if rimfire is a consideration for you. Only real complaint is the finish on the slide is cheap but the internal shows little wear. 10/10 gun, thank you sir for the recommendation!
Your first impressions video convinced me to buy one about 3 months ago. It is the best 22 pistol I have ever owned! I've always historically stayed away from Taurus, but this thing is incredible. Highly recommend.
@@Bada_Boom78 I agree. One thing that I always take into consideration about purchasing a firearm, especially a handgun, is if it has a thumb safety. Glock does not have one. Been looking at it, as well, based on this and other online video reviews. What is your impression of the TX22 so far? (Presuming you've put a few rounds through it already.)
I had my choices for a .22 semi auto narrowed down to the M&P or the Walther .22. After reading and watching a lot of reviews about the ammo pickiness of the Walther specifically, I kept searching. I bought the TX22 for $250 and am glad I did. The capacity is great and you can also get a +3 extension. It also reliably shoots every brand of ammo I've put through it with only a couple of failures.
@@bluyetiinc7553 i havent shot it much lately but have 600 or so rounds through it. It shoots great. It shoots the regular velocity ammo pretty well but has hung up a couple times. The high velocity stuff has never given me a problem.

Actually I’ll also add the kel tec p17 to that list. That’s coming from someone who owns and shoots multiple copies of various .22lr handguns
I was looking for a .22 and was getting ready to buy the Sig P322. Stumbled across this video last week and went out and bought the Taurus. Absolutely a fun gun to shoot. When I get the itch to buy a gun, I check the Honest Outlaw's videos to see what Chris thinks. He is by far the best reviewer mainly because he does not waste time and speaks quickly.
I purchased one two days ago from a large hunt fish sporting goods store in mi for $295, $315 store price minus $20 for retired military. Since during the plandemic they had been selling handguns near msrp, I thought that I got the tx22 for a decent price.
Mine is at 1,700+ rounds, with zero issues and mine are all bulk ammo so far, including this Remington that gave him 3 failures. I cleaned mine after 600 rounds, the 1st cleaning. I like this so much, I got a ton of 22 and bought another one of these. I wanted another 22, and thought why not get another one of these? It rounds great and less expensive that the others with a higher capacity too. 1 black, 1 FDE.
I just bought this same color pistol on gunbroker for $279. After taxes and shipping + ffl fees I'll be into it for about $345. I hope it's as good as all the reviews. Just bought a rossi rs22 black Friday and this gun should pair great with it.
We bought this gun and love it, both my sons operate it without issue with over a thousand rounds of bulk ammo with minimal failures (10 and 13 yrs of age) Good review btw
Excellent review as usual. Taurus has really come a long way. Watch out Sig, Glock, Smith and Wesson, and Springfield. You now have a real competitor in Taurus - and for less money. That is impressive.
Just had mine to the range this week, flawless and very accurate. Shot around 300 rounds in no time, not one jam. I have a Mcfadden lightning loader with the TX adaptor on it. Load a mag in less than 10 seconds. These loaders are great and I have an adaptor for my Walther PPQ.
Aside from having to check my barrel after every magazine to make sure there aren't chunks of lead stuck in the defective rifling, the TX22 is the best .22lr pistol I've ever shot. I Love how they did the threaded barrel. Mine can technically fit in a glock 19 kydex holster in a pinch, but not very securely. Good enough to train with though. There are not many (1 or 2 at most) aftermarket sight options available as of last month when I last checked. I bought mine December 2019 and it was one that had the defective barrel. There are chatter marks down the entire barrel which can (and has) shred off chunks of lead that'll get stuck inside the barrel, leading to serious catastrophic damage if you don't check on it often. There was also uneven rifling and some keyhole issues. There still might be some defective barrels out there. DO NOT BUY ONE unless the gun store employee lets you inspect the rifling with a flashlight. I probably have another 4-6 weeks minimum to wait on them to send me out a new barrel. After a notably bad customer service experience involving at least 90 minutes of total wait time on the phone, and being made to jump through a bunch of hoops to even get them to agree to send me out a new barrel, I requested someone who handles complaints to call me at a later time so I could express just how crappy my customer service experience was. To their credit, they offered me a 15 round extended magazine for my G2C to help smooth things over. That definitely made the apology feel real, and I still cautiously recommend them as a company because of that. I'm not going to say, 'don't buy their guns', but I do highly recommend that you do more research than you normally would and inspect the shit out of the gun before you buy it. At Taurus, they like to include the customer in their quality control process, so make sure you do your due diligence while saving money on relatively cheap guns.
They do have a non-safety model available. I purchased one through Big Daddy a few months ago. I have north of 2000 rounds through mine without the first malfunction! I had two failure to fires but it was Winchester Wildcat and both were struck very well, not a gun issue.
I wanted the non safety but basspro had a safety one they found in the back and everywhere in my area has been out of stock on these for 2 months plus now ..
I just took my tx22 to the range today, and put 200+ rounds through it. 4 different brands of ammo i didn't have one failure. However i polished the feed ramp and chamber beforehand. I absolutely love it
Saw this review when you first posted it, and I've wanted to buy the gun ever since. Just went to my LGS earlier today and they had a pristine condition used one with 5 mags and original box and docs included for just $299. Couldn't pass it up and now I can't wait to get it to the range!
Glad to see others are enjoying this pistol. I really enjoyed my TX22. A friend who is an FFL let me borrow one of the first in the shop to test it out. Put almost 1k down it. Only issues I ever had were related to the mags and how I loaded them. If I ignored the couple that dipped down or up thinking they would straighten out, then they would usually not feed. But if I made sure they loaded fine and didn’t go wonky on me then it ran great. I went ahead and bought it because I enjoyed it so much. Put a light and was my truck 22 for a good while. Got plenty of skunks, raccoons, and snakes with it. Only got rid of it cause a coworker just had to have it and offered a little more than I paid. Upgraded to the beretta 92-FS in 22lr. Great as well
I own 3 Taurus pistols, the big judge,G2 and G3.no problems with any of them,no jamming at all, great great guns for the price, but price has a consideration, but I love the g2and G3 ,I love the safety system. I pocket carry the g2and love the safety on it.I consider a gun a tool like a hammer or tape measure. I don’t need a $500 gun when I can reliability out a $280 gun that doesn’t jam, my wife has 2 s&w m&p east side , both have jammed .thank you, love your channel
@@gustavonitsche8162 not in the states though..... As soon as they get that gun imported, if it's anywhere near as good as the 22, with that trigger, texture, and ergonomics.... It will destroy the gun market.
@@AOMartialArts you will be amazed... the ts9 is really a new era in the taurus lineup. All Brazilian sports shooters are moving to this gun here. Affordable, reliable, very accurate and it lasts a life. I perssonaly own a th9c, and compared to the ts9, the th9c has a real lower quality overall. But it stills a "nice" hammer gun
I bought one of these after watching a BUNCH of .22LR pistol reviews and comparisons. I LOVE it. I was just out shooting this past weekend and we were shooting at 140yd with rifles and i decided to try my luck with the TX and after figuring out where to line up the sights i was actually hitting about 40% of my shots on a torso plate. Great gun for the cost.
Picked one of these up last year while they were offering the $50 rebate and the price couldn’t be beat! It’s been one of my favorites at the range and doesn’t break the bank to shoot. Forged tec holsters makes good kydex holsters and mag carriers for it and Tandemkross makes a great fiberoptic front sight, extractor and magazine loading tool.
Got mine last week, took it to the range, fed it cheap target ammo - no issues whatsoever. It was accurate, fun to shoot, no recoil no issues no nothing. If I had to come up with a gripe with it, it'd be the rail. Since it's polymer, it doesn't feel as sturdy as I'd like it to be, and I'm not sure how well will it hold zero with proper accessories. I used a cheap laser and it didn't (I'm assuming it's the laser's fault). I got it for "covid19 price" : $269. I couldn't find anything close to $200, for the time being. Great practice gun.
I have this same gun and I have had zero problems with it. Even mounted a RMR on it and it still runs flawless. Best money I've spent on a gun besides my 1911's.
I picked up one this week for $244. I wasn't expecting it to feel so good in the hand. Next time I pick up my Glock I know I'm going to throw some shade in its direction.
I bought a new TX22 recently. It is very accurate. It’s soft recoiling. It weighs nothing. I was going thru ammo so quickly that I bought some more mags.
Just make sure you check your barrel for chatter before you purchase. The older run of guns had that issues and it's a pita to get in touch with customer service atm from what folks are saying online. With that said, the only issue with Taurus is the haters/trolls. That's it. The tx22 is absolutely amazing.
I bought mine a year ago. I have about 2000 rounds through it. The first 300-400 rounds I had a numbers of failures to feed and quite a few stove-pipes. After that I cannot remember a single issue. I don’t attribute all of the initial issues to pulling the tabs down too far when loading, but some may have been. I think some of it was just break in because I can be pretty careless about loading now and the thing just runs. My advise: if you have trouble try loading it with the autoloader but most importantly wait 500-600 rounds before making a judgement.
I absolutely love my TX 22 and everyone who shoots it loves it. It definitely has some break in issues till about the 200 round mark but after that it’s ran flawless. With over 2200 rounds and about 1600 suppressed this thing RUUUUUUNS
I am 73 years old and have owned maybe 8-10 Taurus of different types including a Judge. Every single one of them had to be sent back for one reason or the other. If this is really a good 22,GREAT, its about time.
I totally agree with everything you said and you’re the only other person I’ve heard say that I wish they would make a 9 mm version of this gun I would buy it in a heartbeat.
Excellent review. I just got the Gen 2 in 2024 Taurus is paying attention the top of the slide is fully opened to clear jams etc. a few other minor improvements, like glock sights can not go on the TX22, plus a 16 and 22 round mag included. It comes with a threaded barrel with thread protector and a very important to me the grip angle is 99.9% like the Glock. The glock 44 would have been an option but the up charge and then you have to go out and pay $$$ to get a threated barrel and an adaptor to go to 1/2 by 28. Reliable, not finicky, price, proof is in the pudding the Taurus is paying attention and a factory 22 round mag. Done! :). Glock can take a couple of lessons from Taurus, The TX-22 22 round mag is backward compatible with previous gen TX-22 (hint, hint G43 and G43X mag???) undercut on trigger guard and they pay attention to end users comment and suggestions.
I don't like striker fired handguns but this one has a couple of mitigating factors. 1. It's cheap. 2. it has a manual safety. Worth considering. my only concern was the trouble you had clearing malfunctions.
I decided i was giving Taurus a try with a g3c. That thing has ran flawlessly with whatever ammo i run in it. I wanted a 22 pistol for cheap fun. This TX22 did not disappoint. Ive put some serious rounds through it on the very first day. 555 box of ammo & this thing ate those rounds without fail. A 22 pistol that runs like this for under 300 is absolutely amazing. The trigger is indeed one of the best pistol triggers in my collection. Right out of the box the sights were dead nuts at 25 yards. Taurus has been working hard to redeem themselves & by god, they've earned a repeat customer with me. I no longer have negative things to say about the brand.
L Karamazov it was some rusty federal ammo. I actually didn’t know they were rusty and dirty until now because I finally came to learn more about guns and ammunition. When I shot that ammo I was reaaaallly new to shooting. I thought they were fine because I bought them from a big retailer and assumed everything was fine but...now I know. It’s a reliable pistol in my eyes but every one can have their own opinion.
So far this year I've purchased two 2011 Staccatos (C2 & XL), two Sigs (365 & 365XL), a Canik TP9SFX Blackout, two 1911s (S&W SW1911 & Dan Wesson Vigil), two Glock MOS Gen 5s (17 & 34), and this Taurus TX22 based on watching your reviews. I obviously value your opinion and your judgement. That said, please stop reviewing guns before I run out of room in my house!
You obvious got really lucky in getting that gun. No malfunctions from gunnitself in 1000 rounds. I've seen Taurus Tx22's fail in the first mag, but that was an issue with the gun itself. I have a Ruger sr22 and 6 10 round mage showing up in the next couple to 3 days and CAN'T wait to get it out to the range. I currently around 17000 rounds a various brands that I have had anykind of failures through my Ruger sr 22 rifle. LET THE PLONKING BEGIN!!!!!👹☠💣🛶🔫🔫.
Excellent video. I’m buying the TX22 tomorrow. I’m also buying the Taurus G3B full size 9mm. I almost bought the Glock 44, but too many malfunctions. So happy I found your video on the TX22.
Very glad you did this review. I love my TX22! I’m surprised you forgot to mention it comes with a threaded barrel adapter to run suppressed. And it runs suppressed very well at least in my experience.
Absolutely love the TX22. So much so that I bought 2 more to share the fun with the family. I have a dozen or so 22LR pistols and this is definitely the most fun. Maybe Buckmark for accuracy
Im at 4000 rounds in mine so far with 5 malfunctions all while using remington golden bullet, any other ammo ive ran in it has ran flawless, ive got 4 22lr pistols and the TX is hands down my favorite but also me and my brother both said Taurus needs to hurry up with a 9mm built exactly like the TX22 and call the the TX9 il buy 2 of them too just like i bought 2 tx22s lol
Just bought one with 16+1 capacity. Will pick it up in a few days. I now own a Taurus 85 "Classic" .38 Special Revolver, a G3, G3C, GX4, Model 856 .38 Special Revolver (the modern version of the 85 that holds 6 rounds instead of 5), and Model 605 Defender .357 Revolver. I love all of them and have never had an issue with any of them - not one. The ergonomics, features, and triggers are all great. I intend to get their 1911, TH Model, and Model 92 as well. Best bang for your buck on the market today in my opinion. People really need to stop with all the unfounded bad mouthing, quit overpaying for lesser guns because they're fanboys, and quit sleeping on Taurus. I'll take a Taurus over a boxy, ugly ***, overpriced, basic Glock any day.
I ran 1500 rounds give or take and cleaned it because accuracy was everywhere so I decided to clean barrel was super gunked. Have seen people claiming things on barrel get leaded mine was bad but that’s with hella rounds I clean it every other big shooting.
My gun club has this at the rental counter. It is constantly rented. It is notoriously RELIABLE. It seems as though Taurus took a page from Steyr's book here.
Have one just like yours. No malfunctions. Bought about January $178.00 out the door from Davidson’s through local dealer. Amazing pistol. Haven’t seen any available for months but Glock 44 available.
I picked up one of these back in September, and have put a little over 1000 rounds, mostly Federal, through it with zero malfunctions. This gun has been nothing short of surprising considering the past record from Taurus.
100% agree got one from my dad for Xmas or b-day when ever they came out, love it! I have 12+ mags and plan to buy more (only 16-20 bucks) most reliable 22 pistol 🔫 I’ve ever shot! Plus love love love the 16 round mags, it’s what the Glock 44 should have been.
I have 4,000+ rounds thru my TX22. Recently had major FTL issues - rounds would constantly chamber only half way. After Taurus installed new barrel and recoil spring…same problem! I was about to give up when - as a last resort - I cleaned my mags. They weren’t that dirty, but guess what? No more failures in the next 500 rounds! I love my TX all over again!
i bought aTX22 about a yr ago for a practice gun. A few problems with failure to eject properly in about the 1st 200 rds,but put over 1,000 rds problem-free since then.Possibly just needed to be broken in.Also, look at the mag & make sure the rds are staggered,if not it can be an issue
Love this pistol - actually had 2. My sister liked the first one so much, I gave it to her and got myself the non safety version as replacement. Both have been utterly reliable except with some old moldy ammo and some 30 year old steel cased greasy Russian ammo. They occasionally fail to fire but I put that on the ammo.
This gun rapidly became one of my favorite in my arsenal. It is fast, light, ultra basic and just a blast to shoot. It points so easy and is reasonably accurate. I had a few hiccups in the first few magazines during the break in but zero issues afterwards.
My main con is that it's made by Taurus. I had to send mine back twice. Customer service was virtually nonexistent. It took 4 months to get it back and working. Now that it's fixed, it's phenomenal. It's highly unlikely I'd ever buy another Taurus though.
every taurus i've seen or had has had issues, i'll never buy one, ever. revolvers get stuck cylinder, autos have feeding issues from bad magazines and overall lack of proper smithing. weak metal in some as well-frames breaking on standard ammo is Very Poor QC.
I see that customer service complaint all over. When it happens that much I believe it. I don't own a Taurus, but was considering a G3, but garbage customer service will keep me from buying it. I'll put the money towards another firearm.
brother had a taurus 9mm, the "butterfly" part (for want of a better term) that locks the barrel into battery broke 3 times on his before he gave up on it. all factory loads, because reloads void thier warranty. Friend had a taurus revolver, .357mag, he used 38's and if you point it anywhere higher than flat, the rounds slid back and jammed against the face plate. Only when it was Dirty as Hell would it operate like a decent revolver. he got $125 selling it back-cost him over $450. I'd say that was a BAD deal myself.
I love this gun. I bought mine back in February. I've only put CCI mini mags through it..I do have some Aquila and will run that next. Super reliable so far.
It's great for that, my daughter got to liking it pretty quickly. The weight and size of it in 22 just makes it really soft for new shooters, and good fun for the rest of us.
I’ve had this firearm for over a month and after about 2 sessions of shooting and 500 to 600 rounds with no malfunctions I started to notice flyers and at ten yards I could no longer hit a 8 inch steel plate so decided to clean it and noticed the rifling was jacked up towards the threaded end of barrel and emailed Taurus with no response and it’s been two weeks so I called Tuesday and low and behold after almost two hours on hold I gave up and now it’s a paper weight in my gun safe
You didn’t mention that the TX22 comes with a threaded barrel so it can run suppressors that’s also a plus for the price point I love my TX22 With a silencer co-sparrow

We bought this gun and love it, both my sons operate it without issue with over a thousand rounds of bulk ammo with minimal failures (10 and 13 yrs of age)
Good review btw
So far, this is the third pistol I’ve purchased based on your recommendations. I have yet to be disappointed. A great video. Very informative. Thanks.
Taurus hitting them all out the park TX22 and G3.
U r right but don’t sleep on GX4!!! 🔥🔥
My favorite pistol and I own many pistols from all different manufacturers. This one hits the mark for me especially when it comes to range time.
Name a couple that you got.
Got this exact pistol & color. Absolutely love it.!.! Perfect 22lr trainer and plinker with awesome features and price point.
Good review. if not this Taurus, What 22 pistol brands would you recommend?
At Taurus, they like to include the customer in their quality control process..... This made me spit out coffee onto my keyboard.
I absolutely love it
I'd give the Taurus a try. I have a G2C 9mm and I love it.
Is it better then this 👀🤔🤔🤔
Saw this review when you first posted it, and I've wanted to buy the gun ever since. Just went to my LGS earlier today and they had a pristine condition used one with 5 mags and original box and docs included for just $299. Couldn't pass it up and now I can't wait to get it to the range!
I was just considering this for my wife's first training pistol. So glad to see a new video on it.
@ApplePie it is very lightweight. Love mine.
@ApplePie it fits my hand and feels great.
I'm planning to open a training center soon and will be using these for the courses. They are a DREAM!!! Can't give high enough praise on these!
I own 9 Taurus pistols older models and new models , never had any problems. Love Taurus 👍👍
This is my next 22 hand gun, love taurus guns.
Thanks brother. I bought this gun off of your review and I couldn't be more pleased. Excellent weapon.
I agree. I’d love for them to make this in 9mm. The Taurus TX-9
there is one. It is called TS9.
@@gustavonitsche8162 not in the states though.....
As soon as they get that gun imported, if it's anywhere near as good as the 22, with that trigger, texture, and ergonomics....
It will destroy the gun market.
@@AOMartialArts I just bought this gun yesterday and haven’t shot it yet I’m taking it that it’s a good gun ??
@@AOMartialArts you will be amazed... the ts9 is really a new era in the taurus lineup. All Brazilian sports shooters are moving to this gun here. Affordable, reliable, very accurate and it lasts a life. I perssonaly own a th9c, and compared to the ts9, the th9c has a real lower quality overall. But it stills a "nice" hammer gun
Maybe the GX4 is that
I bought one of these after watching a BUNCH of .22LR pistol reviews and comparisons.
I love the thumb rest/ridge/memory pad on it. Really sold me on its stability I wish more pistols had this feature and as deep as it is in the tx22.
Its my favorite 22LR. Awesome gun. It fires all ammo. Almost cant miss target. Great trigger!
And it has a threaded barrel and shoots very well suppressed. Great video!
I've had my Taurus PT940 since 2008 as my carry, love it. Good to see them still doing their thing.
Yes Taurus needs to bring this exact setup out in 9mm! I agree.
I have this same gun and I have had zero problems with it. Even mounted a RMR on it and it still runs flawless. Best money I've spent on a gun besides my 1911's.
Just bought one this morning after watching this. 👍🏻 best .22 ever
Cayenne Captain with the 10 round magazines I believe that you can.

I've been looking at this for an affordable plinker. This video has sold me on it.
I picked up one this week for $244. I wasn't expecting it to feel so good in the hand. Next time I pick up my Glock I know I'm going to throw some shade in its direction.
My TX22 has about 3000+ rounds on it, cero malfunction, rapid-fire, slow fire, always works!! I really like this gun.
I bought a new TX22 recently.
It is very accurate. It’s soft recoiling. It weighs nothing.
I was going thru ammo so quickly that I bought some more mags.
Yeah, I got the 6 mag pouch from Taurus's website so I have 8 and even those eat through the ammo quick haha. Super fun pistol!
I love your reviews! I want to hear the good and bad! And in a clear concise way! Good work and thank you!
I loved mine til the slide cracked. Should be back today though
G3 is pretty similar. go hawkeyes!
They make the ts9 but it's not available in the states yet
I absolutely love mine! Have over 1,300 and any failures I had were all due to ammo.
But that’s the reason people say don’t trust it. Would you say ammo failures are common? What about if you have good cci ammo?
L Karamazov it was some rusty federal ammo. I actually didn’t know they were rusty and dirty until now because I finally came to learn more about guns and ammunition. When I shot that ammo I was reaaaallly new to shooting. I thought they were fine because I bought them from a big retailer and assumed everything was fine but...now I know. It’s a reliable pistol in my eyes but every one can have their own opinion.
I bought the TX22 based on your review. Thank you so much for the review.
Good job building your collection.
I feel like it's a new review every day!!! I love it!
Did you check the bore to see if it was good? Many of the Gen 1 were bad. The rifling was off center and caused them to lead up quickly.
What range is your serial number in? My friend just got one that he said was over 60,000 and is wondering if that's after Taurus solved the issue.
JD Math if I’m reading this right it’s under 20000 . But gun is awesome didn’t notice accuracy changes until after 1200 rounds with no cleaning 🧹.
Been using mine to get used to shooting at 25 yards it's a lot of fun.
Just bought one yesterday for $299 at bassproshop in illinois and will pick up after 72 hour wait period. Got it because of this review.
If the Glock had 16 round mags, it would have 12 malfunctions, instead of 8. lol
@@jamiesloan7259 lol so true, sad Glock couldn’t make a nice 22lr pistol
I have 4,000+ rounds thru my TX22. Recently had major FTL issues - rounds would constantly chamber only half way. After Taurus installed new barrel and recoil spring…same problem! I was about to give up when - as a last resort - I cleaned my mags. They weren’t that dirty, but guess what? No more failures in the next 500 rounds! I love my TX all over again!
SHOT was cancelled this year but I guarantee after the popularity of this model, Taurus was planning to unveil the 9mm model. And I'm in line for it.
i bought aTX22 about a yr ago for a practice gun.
Waa,waa,..that's the way of the World..you aren't perfect either. Thanks for sparing the rest of us your pain...
brother had a taurus 9mm, the "butterfly" part (for want of a better term) that locks the barrel into battery broke 3 times on his before he gave up on it. all factory loads, because reloads void thier warranty.
I bought a ruger 22 because i could put a brace on, my 2nd choice is/was the Taurus. This gun is well reviewed. Nice job by HO.
Everything about the tx22 is great. It’s a fast shooter too. More aftermarket pieces would be nice though
I love this gun. I bought mine back in February. I've only put CCI mini mags through it..I do have some Aquila and will run that next. Super reliable so far.
Update: the Aguila was TERRIBLE, so was the federal blue box. Armscor and cci works just fine.
Sad that this gun is over 3 years old now and it costs more than when it launched...
I've been eye balling this pistol for a while now.. you just sold me on it, man! Great review!
Oh pistol is awesome runs everything trigger good accuracy is great when clean . Love it 😍
Turris closed in the ejection port for shooting suppressed, and suppressed is where this gun shines the most. Great review, keep up the good work. 👍👍
this looks like a perfect gun to train new shooter's kid's or women without intimidating them....great review!
A quick google search pulled up multiple RUclips videos about this issue.
Believe it or not, but Taurus designed this to be competition ready.
Some Glock guys head exploded 💥 watching 👀 this video.
Taurus really upped their game. I like shooting my TX22 better than my Ruger SR22 and S&W Victory. Eats any ammo I feed it. Love the trigger.
You didn’t mention that the TX22 comes with a threaded barrel so it can run suppressors that’s also a plus for the price point I love my TX22 With a silencer co-sparrow
I absolutely LOVE my Taurus Tx-22!!!!!
Just bought a safetyless version 2 days ago.
I have the same model/color as you do. I absolutely LOVE mine. No problems whatsoever!
Thanks a lot.. now I've got a TX22 on the way lol
