@@SlaveKnightGael1579 Gun Jesus once got it to fire consecutive rounds. The Zip 22 promptly locked up so badly Ian had to disassemble it to render it safe.

Hey Outlaw can you make a video about range belt set up, tips and tricks. I want to start buying gear but I'm not sure where to start.
I don’t think he would cause I’ve never seen him run a range belt at all. Which I actually like.
All of that stuff is a personal preference kinda of thing.

Thought he already did that. There aren't many options. Cheapest is prob the Springfield, then the new platypus. Both are under $1500, that is if you mean 1911 double stack. If you just want an old school 1911 single stack there are plenty of options.
As far as I know, the LiveFreeArmory Apollo 11 at $979 is the only sub $1000 Dbl stack 1911 that has received positive reviews. HO and PV both liked it. Not sure if either one has put 1000 rounds through one yet.

For the money, the MAC 1911 DS is hands down the best at its price point, considering, it comes with a bull barrel, RMR footprint for optic mounting, and no MIM parts unlike the $1500 SA Prodigy (LOL). All for $800 too.
It’s funny, Taurus JUST came out with, what looks like a replacement for the PT-22, something they’re calling the 22 Tuc. 9+1 of 22lr WITH a tip up barrel.
I got the p22 last year and it worked fine until it didn't. And it started shooting itself apart like his did. I used it for a snake charmer though underneath houses because it would atleast shoot the first shot lol
And all the Posters who get it free for first try say it's wonderful, now we have to wait for those who actually paid for one to post a review. Just like the S&W Bodyguard 2.0 now I see people who paid for one doing reviews and guess what they are having problems!! shocker.

That was my recommendation, . I seen a used one in a local gun shop a few years ago and actually considered it briefly just to be able to say " I own the worst " lol.
And I thought the worst thing I shot was the SCCY CPX! Man, they LOOK like they suck!

Totally agree with Chris, the pen gun should only be a collector's item, not a self-defense tool. Carrying it for protection could put the user in an even more dangerous situation!
The craziest thing about the Bond Arms derringers is they have the balls to charge $5-600 for them.
Because they're novelty items for bored rich collectors.

I had a Taurus which I inherited from my former spouse's uncle. At 15ft the pattern was 5ft wide. There was no one around in those mountains that day so I wasn't embarrassed. I'd shoot a few rounds and it would jam! I'd clear the jam and fire more. It scared the stuff out of me when it jammed two rounds in the chamber half open!! As cleared it the magazine fell out and a "V" shaped leaf spring fell out with it. Later a logging buddy of mine said, never buy a gun that will fit in your pocket!" I said never marry a woman with a gay uncle!!!

I have Lorcin L380. That is a piece of junk. I paid $100, 25 yrs ago. A waste of good money. It sits in my safe.
That would be my vote for the worst I have ever seen personally. They are junk.
I have had 2 Girsans and they only seem to like HOT ammo; Had a 45 commander -7lb trigger pull-unless it was +P it had minute of hillside accuracy - went to Tisas. Also have a MC P35 - range toy BUT it loves 124gt +p standard velocity nope
On the intertec did you try actual Ruger 10/22 mags? The ones that come with it will even jam a 10/22 like that - I know. Still would not carry it, but if it functions it is like a Hillbilly Skorpion range toy
As for worse guns Raven and Phoenix arms comes to mind

Girsan is a dumpster fire from the poor build quality all the way to the worst post sale support in the industry. I fixed mine and sold it for less than half price new.
I remember the old Jennings and Davis semi autos were junk and I know because I still haveva J22 that shot itself apart. Looked cool though.
Hey I have one of those with a missing firing pin spring cap.
Mine is missing the extractor, pin, spring and maybe other stuff. Haven't looked at it in years, still in its box w/papers though

My dad had a Bond Arms 38/.357 derringer. He wanted it so bad because it was made in Texas. Well, it was awful. The bottom barrel keyholes everything except snake-shot, (which is the only thing I would ever tun through it), it’s heavy and unwieldy. Strictly a novelty.

I'm happy to report that I've never owed any of the guns on the list. I have had an LCP before and I agree with you, they are good guns. I moved away from the 380 caliber. I like the 9mm better, ammo is easier to come by, and generally cheaper.

Taurus just updated the PT22 with the Taurus TUC in 22lr.
You should look into the Tisas DS9 1911. It's a 2011 that comes in around $750-$800. I picked up the 4.25 inch model a couple of weeks ago and have about 300+ rounds of monarch 115gr 9mm through it with no malfunctions. Great gun so far, weird trigger though.
The Intratec Tec 22 is actually just the VZ61 Skorpion "we have at home". Same charging "handle", same magazine placement, etc. Except the Skorpion actually worked, was in a centefire caliber, and was full auto.
Interesting about the Taurus PT22 being so bad.. 5 or 6 years ago I bought one of the older models that are sort of gold colored with wooden grips and I don't recall it ever malfunctioning with all the cheap bulk pack ammo I always shoot.. Maybe I just got lucky with mine.😁
The Bond Stinger isn't remotely close to a Glock 26 in size, it's smaller in every dimension than even the Glock 42. What were you smoking on that range day?
My Taurus PT22 Poly worked great for me. Reliable with most brands of 22. It was wide so didn't carry it. Sold it to a friend that wanted it.
Have been very happy with mine, as well.
My Ruger LCP22 is temperamental.
My PT runs fine, when loaded 7 rds in mag.
It runs 100% on CCI ammo.

If you guys need cheap guns that work CZ and Ruger Smith& Wesson bodyguard series is pretty cheap and when you can find them on sale, they're they're about 300 bucks or less
One time I got lucky and found a brand new Smith & Wesson Shield plus with night sights optics cut no safety witch I like and it was in FDE for $400 after back ground check and tax and I went in expecting to pick up a bodyguard 38 special revolver so I got a upgrade and I'll probably get a new revolver later
I would never carry any of these guns for defense, but I would consider owning a couple of them. I semi-regularly have to talk myself out of bidding on a Braverman. It's about as useless as a gun has ever been, but it's really cool. It's just rather expensive for a novelty.
I will probably own a 22 derringer as some point. It's not something that I would carry for defense, but it would be fun alongside a Henry and Wrangler for some 22lr range day cowboy cosplay.

they're crap, but they're mostly reliable crap, and sturdy AF. and once your out of ammo, they double as a heavy throwing object.
@@kenabi I have a lifelong hatred for strikerfire pistols because of that piece of carpet beater!! I bought one when I was like 14 and it was brand new and still the firing pin didn't work half time and when it did it didn't eject the shell another 50% of the time, the trigger was trash, the clips were trash. I didn't even sell it because I knew I would feel bad so I just gave it to a friend who actually wanted it, didn't ask why.

I have the older metal PT22 and it’s much more reliable than the poly one.
In a pinch,any pistol is better than a fist.

Ok, I like Bond Derringers and I own a Stinger RS in 22LR. I don't carry it all the time, my normal carry is a LCP Max, but if I am doing something that is potentially rough on it, I stick the Stinger in my pocket. It is rugged and shoots twice every time. Now I am getting a different barrel for it in .327 mag and probably shoot 32 H&R Mags. The sights are minimal, but if I'm shooting at more than 10 yards, I want a rifle.

I had one that worked fine with Ruger mags. Used to be my canoe gun because I got it cheap and wasn’t that worried about losing it. It went as boot on some trade or other.
@@JoshJones-37334 i sold one to my neighbor and he just used it as a cool wall hanger. I did everything to try to get them to run. I tried them mags and polished the feed ramps. I also broke it down and cleaned it spotless and oiled it to give it the best chance because i love the look but rarely made it threw a full mag. Got tired of fiddlin with them and got rid of them. Not my happiest gun moments thats for sure 🤣
@randallp2144 had that experience with a mac10. Couldnt get it to run a full mag cause the mags for em are from the 60s n full of all kind of crap. Found an aftermarket 10rd mag and it never malfunctioned.

Oh man, the taurus hate.....yeah, thats a shit gun, but i have a tx22 thats practically the same size as my sig m18 and i have fired over 1000 rounds through it with only 5 malfunctions, and thats bc i went over 200 rounds without cleaning to test reliability.

Girsan might be the worst firearm manufacturer coming out of Türkiye. In past, they somehow managed to win national police service pistol contract once. Let's just say it was an utter disaster for the poor guys who were given Girsan that year lmao.

Yep, the bad ones are out there. Thank you for advising honest people not to get taken advantage of. I have only names I trust on my holster, and real calibers that meet FBI ratings. Yeah, they arent cheap, but what are YOU WORTH? I own a few range toys too, but if it isnt Sig Sauer, Smith n Wesson, Ruger, Colt, Springfield Arms, Kimber it is snt on my hip guarding my back. Davis derringer is awful - but I guess they don't make them anymore...I hope. A Bond is great quality but still sucks putty balls. No derringer. And no Walther...any of them. As a cop told me, soak in a barrel of oil and it might work. I have 3 auto pistols that are reliable - Browning Hi-Power, a Ruger 1911, and a Glock 43. Nothing else I've owned wouldn't jam sooner or later.

Do a video on more commonly carried pistols like Glocks, hellcats,m&p’s, p320 etc. and show their strengths and weaknesses.
To be fair to Bond Arms, you are supposed to turn it upside down when you reload it, meaning it is pointed at the ground and not back at you… but yea, a .22 derringer that weighs 20 oz or whatever is silly. I have carried a Bond Arms derringer in .357 though with CCI .38 snake shot shells when in rattler territory. I like how I can pocket carry it (which I can’t do with my Taurus Judge).

PT-22: I have an old one and...never carry! Although the action is supposedly hindered by the mag sitting too high in the grip, allowing the slide to drag on the feed lips. A hair tie around the mag holds it in the tight orientation for repeat fire. Or so "they" say. Hasn't worked for me yet. I also had a piece of the frame break off.
Intratec 22: I had one and it worked very well. I never found a holster for it. It uses Ruger 10/22 mags, banana or otherwise. I would probably make a kydex holster if I still had it. The rear sight was stamped steel, the front was a filed (snipped) off nail. Literally. Uneven top was left. Accurate! Why don't I have it anymore? Diane Feinstein declared it Evvvilll by name in one or all of her many assault weapon bills. I won't abide by Evvvilll in my house, so I traded it in on a Mossberg 12 gauge riot gun. Go figure.
