- In the trailer for Season 18 of Sister Wives, TLC gives viewers a glimpse of the upcoming discord in the Brown family. One of the scenes is that of Robyn coming to terms with the reality that she is the last wife standing in the Brown family.
During my retrospective of the series, it is apparent that Robyn has been diligently planning the take over of the Brown family. In season 18 we begin to see the repercussions of all her planning. This is what she wanted so it is very difficult for me to feel any sympathy for the situation she finds herself in.

How can she keep saying she wants to sit on a porch with her sister wives, when she literally never wanted to spend anytime with them.
I think she expected there’d be a very, very large porch so she wouldn’t have to be that close to any of them. And kody would be on her side of the porch obviously.

They never expected any of the wives to leave. That’s why this all blew up in Robin and Kody’s face. They definitely deserve each other and no one else.

A genuine friend or partner will say, "you're not in a healthy place here, maybe we would be better parting ways". Kody and Robyn are sadists for asking Meri to stay in a hopeless, loveless and antagonistic arrangement. This is what grifters do - they keep you minimally invested because they feel they can take something more from you when convenient. Kody and Robyn do not care if Meri stays and lives perpetually alone. They do not care if she buggers off with another man and maintains the illusion she's in a spiritual union with Kody. A basic friend would say "this marriage is working for me but it's not working for you and you need to pursue your higher wellbeing whether that's with Kody or not".

I think the other wives realized that Kody and Robyn were playing games, and got too grown and too wise for their b.s. Not even their religion could justify what was happening in the family, it didn't make sense anymore.

I never realized how conniving Robyn was until I started noticing that her life was much better then the other wives and she was not even working. She got her legal marriage certificate under the guise that if she died the kids had nowhere to go which is BS. They had their father, his family, her family. She had to make believe she was acting on their behalf so that the other would empathize and would not push back. Now she can enjoy the fruits of her labor while the other wives are happy in their new lives.
The legal marriage con was possibly her most diabolical, in my opinion. The main reason I say this is that as selfish and underhanded that whole plot was, Robyn really showed her true nature with one particularly savage element: the manipulation of her "BFF sister wife" Meri.
Robyn saw how desperately Meri clung onto any opportunity to please Kody. For Meri to sacrifice her legal marriage of over 20 years for (ostensibly - there did not need to be a legal marriage for Kody to adopt the step kids, but that's the angle they played up) for kids that weren't even Kody's, well that gave Meri an incredible opportunity to win some SERIOUS gratitude and respect from Kody. You know, Meri being so selfless and at the same time a little bit of a superhero saving the day. Robyn knew Meri was primed to jump up and fully, energetically play that role and Robyn jumped on it like a freaking lion sniffing out a wounded wildebeest. That's ice cold, seriously. Yikes.

Robyn made Kody promise to spend every two days with her and her kids. How was this going to work? 3 other wives 13 kids plus grandchildren. All the rest of the family was neglected. They expected the rest of the family to be okay with it. Robyn shouldn't have asked and Kody should have nipped that in the bud. Even before marriage/ commitment ceremony she was making her kids call Kody dad.

I have probably said this on your channel before. But Robyn never wanted to live with the other wives and she didn’t want her children to be around any of the other children. So they were never close because Robyn made no effort to join the rest of the family.

Robyns exes brother I think was one of the families considered for the show. so she definitely knew all about it and when they moved on to kody and his wives. I also believe she set the whole thing up and probably was talking to kody before any wives knew. I think they set up their meeting with meri to make meri think it was all her idea.
Robyn was the dynamite that destroyed the family. Kody changed when Robyn came into the family and once they moved to Vegas Robyn started picking apart the other marriages starting with Meri. She started interrupting Meri's time with Kody because she needed help with Solomon. She had 3 kids in school and a Nanny but she was unable to care for an infant. A few years later Meri divorced Kody and he continued to ignore her. When he tried to give Meri attention, Robyn interrupted or would convientedly show up to interfere with Meri's time with him. Meri looked for a friend online after being ignored for years and was catfished. Kody used that as an excuse to push her away. They moved to Flagstaff and he started ignoring Christine only showing up at night and disappearing by morning. Janelle was still getting her time. Covid19 happened and he used that as an excuse to not visit Janelle, Christine and the kids. He used the excuse he had to be careful because Solomon had been sick as an infant but he seemed to forget Truley almost died in his care. Her kidneys failed because she was severely dehydrated The move to Flagstaff was because Dayton was going to college there.

My take is that she did want to sit on the porch with her Sister Wives. I believe that she came into the family for money and fame and yeah the Sister wives fantasy. I’ve watched the series a few times because it’s interesting to see the dynamics of the family. The kids pretty much called Robyn from the beginning. Madison never seemed to like her from the second episode forward. Hunter got her number. He was also persecuted for not liking Robyn. There are several episodes where he reared up against Robyn. He never liked her. I would venture after Robyn missed Logan’s hs graduation, Logan was not so cool with her either.
You should keep trying to watch the prior episodes to really see why this family disintegrated.
Also check out about the ‘lost’ tell all when Kody humiliated Christine on national television and through their book. James should look into the tell all that was scrubbed by the producers because at the end of season 3, Kody revealed just how vile he was. Robyn never defended Christine during that incident but then wonders why she doesn’t want a relationship with her.

I Wish all the kids would get together and bring a class action suit against T L C, sue them into oblivion. Those children worked for them their entire lives, having all of their personal issues broadcast to the world, without permission or being paid a dime. Their dead beat father blew the entire family's T L C paycheck, year after year on clothes, cars and gifts for his gf, endless relocating without putting a red cent in a college fund for 13 kids. I have a feeling sobyns kids had trust funds, but even if they didn't, kody is paying for health insurance and education for them, which is much more than his other children Ever got. It's bad enough Meri, and Janelle gave kody and sobyn the profit from the sale of their Vegas homes so they could have a huge down-payment on their mansion, greatly lowering their mortgage payments, at the same time Christine is struggling to come up with money for Ysabels necessary surgery bc she was in pain every moment of her life. I Hope sobyn realizes kody has been a kept man his entire life, and now that she's his only wife she'd better get a good paying job or move over so kody can add enough wive's to keep the standard of life he's become accustomed to 😂
Kody's version of polygamy is having an expensive sanctioned mistress. It's becoming unchecked greed. Kody has always liked presenting a version of himself with lots of clothes and a shiny car. It's one thing for the wives to spend on Kody's indulgences but entirely another to take on Robyn's debt AND finance her future spending. Time is also money, and Kody has proven he doesn't want to spend his literal time with his wives or children that need extended medical care.

Well, Sob-n-Rob-em wanted the OG3 to BUY the porch, FOR HER, Kiddy, and THEIR grands. She was just going to ALLOW them to sit ON THE PORCH, with THEIR kids and grands on one side of the "yard", and HERS &Kiddy's on the other. That way, she could point out how "THEIR" kids/grands, were not "accepted" by the others!

Well, she has lots of porches. She could’ve had her sister wives over and started the tradition.
There is a personality disorder called Tendency for Interpersonal Victimhood. While we can't diagnose a someone just by seeing them on tv the four main components fit Robyn like a glove.
1.Need for recognition: Robyn needs to let you know how and why she's the victim.
2.Lack of empathy: The other wives ruined her porch dreams and she's clueless why they'd do that to her.
3.Moral elitism: She's pure and perfect when anyone goes against her it's because they're immoral and obviously a dirty sinner.
4.Rumination: This one bothered me a lot, when she announced her pregnancy she didn't think Hunter(14yr old)was excited enough for her. After having the baby she talked about Hunters reaction to the baby because she was worried after the way he acted when she told him she was pregnant?!?!

I don’t remember which episode it was but a tearful Robyn was sitting on the interview couch and says her fear is when David turns 13 he will be able to choose to go live with his father. I’m sure that helped her manipulate a quick adoption.

The show is called Sister Wives. It should be about the women, not Cody. Every season, TLC makes it more and more about him. I hope moving forward, the show is more about the women. Cody can pout in the corner.
The funny thing about Robyn’s big plan for Kody to adopt her children from Jessup is this. Jessup is the biological father. There is nothing that supersedes this fact. Should anything had happened to Robyn, even though Kody adopted the kids, Jessup could still come back and take custody of them. Very easily actually. And here’s the kisser. Because Kody adopted them, Jessup would’ve been able to get child support from Kody to maintain them while in Jessup’s care. Bet Robyn not Kody knew nothing about this. And we all know Meri was not smart enough to put those dots together.
