      Cps was actually called not long after and all the kids were taken the parents divorced, the two girls are doing amazing and the boys live with the mom idk much about them though

      I do often wonder on some of the more extreme cases like this one, how often CPS gets involved after seeing these episodes. Yes, they're edited to show the worst, but, if it's happening it's happening.

      this is unfortunately stull during the time where dad was brought up to wear the pants in the family and rule with an iron fist. because of what he has in his pants. my father was like that and i was so obedient because even if i didnt id get slapped around.

      And they dont even bring healthy foods for her children these two older girls are clueless how to take care of these small brothers and how can they concentrate on studies 😢 these parents are running out from their responsibilities my gosh dont make babies if you only want to do is work 😮‍💨☹️
      And the younger babies are also developing they should be guided by their parents not the young sisters who are still studying 😑 these parents makes my blood boil

      All those girls are are servants to them and nothing else. I want to think that the parents changed but i highly doubt it especially the mom. She really cant seemto put the "girl boss" authority behavior on hold for the girls sake. Some people can't change.

    The saddest Supernanny episode I've seen. Poor girls. Britney passed out after her parents refused to recognize that she does the entire house chores at home. I think she is scared of them to death and can't believe they can't even acknowledge that she has been doing all job all this time. Shame on those parents!

      And she’s biting the inside of her cheeks the whole time (I did that when I had an ED) and she’s a teen girl in the late 2000s so she’s probably got an eating disorder poor thing

    Those two girls are wearing YEARS of sleep deprivation on their faces.
    They are not just tired. They are weary, and are functioning in critical condition CONSTANTLY.

    Both girls knew nothing was going to change! When Jo was leaving Brittany was heartbroken! Both parents will revert as before, you could see that from "scene one"! Shame on THEM! Yet they keep procreating! CPS should be called immediately!!

    Its not only sad for the girls, it's also extremely sad for the toddlers who need discipline, attention, education, love from parents. The sisters can't give all that. They're litterely surviving... All the children will face consequences because of this. Not just the girls.
    This made me so so so sad..

      How does CPS work? They just pop in once or twice and if things are good then that's it? I can't imagine every family gets the observation time it truly needs

      @@cottoncandiez8872in my experience, i cannot speak for everyone because i’ve heard many stories with different experiences, they would come in every few weeks for few years to check up on me and my sister but tbh it wasn’t very helpful as i was quite young to understand and it was only for like 10-30 minutes, but i’ve heard from many people that they haven’t been helpful at all and sometimes CPS will ignore the children but sometimes the children can get taken away from the household 🫶 hope this is helpful :)

    you can see that when the dad originally sat down w the girls at 20:10, the fear in the 14 yo’s eyes. they were so wide. and britney looked so tired, so worn. it was sad. and his pathetic apology annoyed me to my core. he didnt mean it, he just did it bc jo told him to and because she was watching him. sad

      And it's heartbreaking that she was absolutely right. Anyone who can read human behavior from words and gestures even mildly could tell that those sick slave owners did their best to play nice, out on an act yet passive-aggressively elude everything that Jo wanted and avoid any significant change at all cost.

      Even with that, and not excusing any behaviours, I much preffer her response to the dad's. He doesnt seem ashamed at any point, as if this was not his problem at all. They are both working so he can't just say 'i am not there, i am working'. If the girls are taking care of the children the least they could do was make the chores when they are back home, and that would not even be enough.

    After appearing on television, Sara and Glenn were investigated for child neglect. The couple ended up getting divorced, with Sara remarrying. Both girls left home as soon as possible, with Moriah moving to live in New York and get married and Brittany going into the army, getting married, and now has three children of her own.

    This is exactly how I grew up. I didn't go out with friends. I moved out as soon as I turned 18, 1 month after my birthday. I speak to my dad on ocassion (once every 2 months) but I don't have any connection with my step mother. I do miss my brothers at times, but I don't want to feel guilty for leaving.

    The most painful part is that mom throws the towel in immediately, knowing that the girls don’t get to do that. They don’t get to throw their hands up and say “I’m done”, because then no one takes care of these three kids. They’re being punished for being born older. They didn’t choose to be older sisters.

      I’ve read somewhere that the oldest sister went to the navy and married with 3 kids. The parents got divorced right after the show and then the mom got remarried. The oldest lives near her mother. The second one moved to California.

      My boys were in Junior High when they finally said, "Mom, we can read." I always read to them at bedtime. Bath at 7:30, Bed at 8:30 with reading. I was in bed at 9:30 so I could read my own favorite books. They both got up in the morning, ate breakfast while watching cartoons and the go to the bus stop. I feeel so blessed.

      Let's be honest the kids wouldn't have been removed. At best they would have had a 3 to 6 months family plan. Where mom and dad would have to be primary care givers or pay for care. The girls grades would have to have improved, and parents would have to ensure their needs were being met. I'm an LMSW and was CASA volunteer.

      Immediate removal? Not trying to work with the parents first? I'm a former foster mom who had to quit because of safety issues from foster teens. The system ruins them.     The teens have my sympathy! I lived this life except I didn't have homeschool! And I was also told I wasn't doing enough and I wasn't good enough when I was the one playing Atlas and holding up their world! Finally I got tired of being tired and I got pregnant! It was the first bit of freedom I had because I'd been kicked out of the house and I was on my own. Raising one child while going to school was so much easier for me than raising three the same way and none of those being mine.

    I think Glenn was far more abusive to the girls than what was shown here. They seemed scared of him, especially Brittany. Sara divorced him, got custody of the boys, and apparently he's completely out of the picture.

    This episode is definitely one of the worst I have watched. It is disgusting the situation these parents put their kids in. I feel sorry for anyone who had to grow up like this. And the fact that Brittney probably wanted to leave once she was 18 but couldnt because she knows how the parents would treat the rest of her siblings

    FYI, the mother and father here ended up getting charged with child neglect on Brit and Moriah. The girls are married now, Brit is in the Military and Moriah is living in NYC

      I would bet, based on my own experience, that there is an anxiety issue at play. Panic attacks don’t always look like heart attacks. Mine are usually more internal, and I have blacked out on some occasions

    When Jo at the end asked how the daughter’s are feeling and she said ok tells me she didn’t feel ok at all… she said Jo was her hero and she looked up to her tells me she was feeling horrible that Jo was leaving and for sure she believe things will go back to the same abusive situations.

    This one is heartbreaking. All the children put under immense emotional pressure for no reason at all 😭 little boys being parented by kids, kids parents kids. Everything is so sad. The youngest cries so much because he wants time with his parents. I imagine it’s torcher being raised by teenagers who don’t wanna be doing it 😭

      Brittany and Mariah both looked like their hair might fall out from stress. Both are waifs to begin with, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if Brittany had become anaemic. I'd be entirely unsurprised if either developed an eating disorder, just to have some level of control over what's going on.
