The way the cop on the first case did EVERYTHING he could to make sure that little boy feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in that moment. He even made sure the boy was having some fun with the lights and the car itself. He should be absolutely applauded for that. ❤️
She seemed to think that it was completely normal for a child to screammmmmm for hours on end…’they’re very vocal’…like of course they are - they are likely hungry and only get juice instead if a meal. She had zero clue of how to mother her children 😣😢😡

I just think this is society failing us. Those people are probably uneducated and poor. Beside the mess in that house, they probably can not afford to fix it and pay for pest control. May be instead of calling the cops on them, they probably need a different type of help to take good care of themselves and those kids. And that cop response is very stupid. I have kid and honestly I am not going to yield to calculated tantrum when ever it happens just because I am afraid the neighbors might call the cop on me. Kids cry for multiple reasons and sometimes ignoring them is a way of gaining control over them. And those kids are probably the reason why this woman looks that tired. If there is a mother that can tell me she never fell asleep due to exhaustion while her baby is crying, I would say she is a liar. It is obvious that in general they don't seem to be good parent, but I do believe as a society, we should try to understand other people issues and challenges before condemning them.
I absolutely applaud that guy. The respect of the bystanders, reassuring the kid, and being strict about the neglect from the parents was very well handled.
Keeping a child when you aren’t able to care for them properly while not seeking help for yourself or for them, neglecting the child (a lot of them looks like they are napping during the day while their child was unsupervised), not acting mortified or upset (at themselves) when the cops turned up, and then only crying when getting arrested - all very typical narcissistic behaviour. So it tracks.

My dad used to be a police officer. One story he would always tell me about is a raid he did on crack house. There were 5 kids inside, 2 baby’s had full diaper and the older kids had nothing on at all. After everyone inside had been rounded up and arrested, my dad and his partner spent the next 45 minutes trying to clean them up and find them cloths. My dad said when he got home he just hugged me and my siblings as hard as he could, then spent the rest of the day playing board games and watching a movie with us. Best dad even, I don’t know how he could go about seeing things like that then come home and have the energy to raise us. I love him to death. Sorry for the long text, this video just got to me.

Wasn't a long text, just a great story!❤ I used to come home & just sit over my babies! Praying & touching a spot that didn't disturb their sleep! Lay Crisis Counselor/First Responder/Foster/Adopt parent! And got a few meth houses etc shut down & prosecuted! And the abused babies saved! By GOD'S GRACE! ❤ You carry each life with you always! I can't get out anymore, but pray without ceasing for the broken! And children's development in those first few years is so critical & formative! Say you have a baby that receives no appropriate nurturing, if there is not intervention within the first 19 months of life then there becomes irreparable damage! They always have trouble bonding & receiving after that! Have watched it play out multi generational with siblings! 1 is able to go on & become a nursing caring parent, & 1 has issues that carry on & hamper healthy parenting!
Gotta love the war on drugs! Best part is all those kids probably grew up without parents, and the police used seizure laws to confiscate everything of value to fund their department!
My dad was in the Army for 25 years and I have similar stories. Even my mom after sandy hook happened told me about it just so she could hug me I was in my first year of college but she still saw me as her baby. I'm glad to see others that were just as lucky to have at least one beautiful parent in their lives. The cops and the bystanders really did some good for their community and i hope its never forgotten.

Absolutely, I've heard people swap the quote, "Every parent deserves a child but not every child deserves a parent." Which is positively horrifying and I corrected them every time.
It's the problem of parents, society and government. Just good, well-educated, and conscious people don't have children. Only good, well-educated, and conscious people must be let to have children. So those parents cannot grow up good, well-educated, and conscious children. Also some people are not type of people looking after children but society makes them think that they love and want children or just to make society think and say good thinks about them, or just to have children to look after them when they are old, they have children, and behave them terrible. The solution is all governments in all countries letting only qualified people to have children.
It always amazes me how someone can explain in detail how they step by step ended their child's life without a speck of emotion, just to break down and cry for themselves when they realize they've been caught and their life as they knew it is over. Absolutely disgusting.

In case anyone doesn't realize, the parents in the first video were likely passed out on heroin. Both very sedated and confused, mom rubbing the side of her nose (common itchy spot with opioid users), and their alibi was literally "we were sleeping". Getting high was more important to them than whether their child lives or dies.
Probably heroin but initially I assumed they were just deep sleeping off a 3 day meth bender; being awake and not eating or feeding themselves or the kids.
I used herion for 14 years and never once passed out on my kids and they got away from me or even had a wet diaper on, pee in it one time it’s changed, also my nose never itches either, shouldn’t spread false information that ain’t 100% true, but yea I’ve seen other parents do this kind of thing and weren’t doing any drugs at all what so ever they just horrible people and even worse parents! I don't have kids and my sister is 1 year younger and I would still be nice to little kids especially when in danger, that's so scary I would definitely do the same as those two nice ladies in the video
when i worked for CPS, my favourite kid was a lot like the first one. three year old boy who had absolutely no boundaries or concept of stranger danger. he was allowed to run loose and would often run in to the streets and his mom & her boyfriend (who was a sexual predator, mind you) would get high and ignore him. he was diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder and has really explosive tantrums and odd behaviours, but the sweetest kid in the world. long story short, he’s back with dad and in a loving and happy home, and i’m friends with his dad on facebook so i can keep up with him. ☺️ he was probably the biggest influence in my life to go back to school for forensic psychology.
Imagine how baby James felt realizing his mother, the person that’s supposed to be protecting him and loving him didn’t care to help him. 😢 may he rest in peace and hope his siblings are in a better home
The first cop was amazing. He was so sweet and gentle to the kid, making the kid smile and have fun with the lights, and then was so protective and harsh with the parents (as he should be). He didn’t take any of their BS which was great to see. He definitely helped that kid

The second case: The mother of Alexee is being very weird with her reactions to hearing that her daughter just killed the baby and tried to hide it in a trash can. The fact that Alexee kept insisting that she had never had sex to the doctors, the fact that she kept saying she wasn't pregnant and that she just had back pain, and the fact that she opted to go through the extremely painful and exhausting act of labor and delivery in a bathroom alone tells me that she was so terrified of her mother that she would rather risk serious injury of laboring in a bathroom alone then kill and hide the newborn than admit to her mother that she has had sex. At the age of 19 she is an adult, but her mother's first reaction to hearing what happened was to calmly say, "do you want to be in trouble?" which causes Alexee to immediately start crying and panicking. When the nurse says that she's not a minor and can make her own medical decisions about going to the labor unit to make sure she doesn't get an infection from partial delivery of the placenta, alexees mother immediately jumps in, "no she's still in school. I need to be in the loop" as if her being in school means that she's not a legal adult who must make her own decisions. Alexees mother comes across as authoritarian, controlling, and abusive. In the next clip we see her being confronted by the police at home with a warrant for alexees arrest. The mother stands in the way of the door and demands they tell her everything about what's going on instead of simply handing over her daughter who very clearly and undoubtedly killed her newborn baby. "but this is my house" doesn't matter, they have a warrant for alexees arrest not for your home. "Can I go with her when you take her to the station?" This doesn't concern you, your daughter is the adult and the murderer and you do not have a reason to be there. "So what is she under arrest for?" You have got to be kidding, you were literally there when they found the body. Alexees mother is a controlling and overbearing person who requires everything to include or revolve around her in typical narcissist fashion and I can easily see why Alexee was so terrified of her mother knowing of her not being a virgin that she instead opted to labor alone in a bathroom and kill /hide her newborn rather than let her mom down. Fucked up but I can see it.

But not everyone is kicked out at 17 and works at a restaurant to pay their way through senior year of high school. Obviously she needs to do time and receive a lifetime of therapy but no, she didn't tear the baby apart. She tore the umbilical cord apart because she was giving birth alone. That's where the blood came from. She likely put her hand over the baby's mouth as soon as it came out. The reality of it is horrifying and what happened seems so obviously avoidable but she didn't do it because she's evil or psychotic. She was just delusional about a baby that didn't even exist to her until it was out of her for a moment.
The first officer deserves a commendation not just for arresting the poor excuse of parents, but for his wonderful treatment of the child. Poor baby was so enjoying the kindness and attention of both women and the officer. Thank God for these caring ladies and this amazing officer.

Its ok they’re not bad its the fact the kid was said not to get any food. Though assuming they always get them is the bad thing. Occasional hot pocket is like occasional pizza. Not all the time but its ok some times.

The Alexee case is a little confusing. For someone to be that terrified of telling their mother that they're pregnant, and do whatever they can to hide it, makes me wonder if her mother was horrible too.
Maybe, but it also seems likely she got pregnant as a college student, and she knew that if she was found out, she would have to raise a baby alone. The parents aren't angels but abusive is pushing it. The mother seemed strict, as in, she doesn't want her kid having a child while pursuing a degree.
The mother honestly gives off controlling abusive parent vibes and to an extent neglectful.. as she doesn't seem to show any compassion and care for her daughter's well being in the hospital. Seemingly her only concern are the troubles Alexee will cause to her. You would think that an unexpected teen pregnancy should have the family heavily involved, with support and welfare of the teen until she gives birth and onwards.. that is if they decided to have and raise the baby. I think that it's obvious that the biggest reason why Alexee is in complete denial of her pregnancy, was her home life.. her family's circumstances does not have the capacity to support her, or much less even accept her pregnancy. That's what goes with unwanted teen pregnancies and strict, borderline abusive families. No normal, healthy thinking person would be able to do that to their own baby.. Alexee was fully unprepared, and in complete denial of her pregnancy.. and she find that her only way out, was to get rid of her own child, as if it's just "nothing". She's mentally incapacitated.. incapable of making sound decisions, reckless and acts on impulse, all signs of long term effect of abuse and neglect. While it still doesn't justify murder for those reasons.. these people need more than anything to firstly rehabilitate and get therapy, as putting them straight in jail won't help them to get better.
The fact Brittany has a possibility of parole and James only got 19 years after strapping a brick and dumping their child in a river is disgusting. Hope they both get their 2nd round of justice while in prison 😃
As someone who got taken out of my family by CPS at 11 years old ( 38 now ) it flipping sucked , the alternative was live in foster care or be place with relatives in another province . When 1 child gets taken away , all children should be taken away and I’ll tell you why . I was “rescued” where as my brothers were still kept in the same house with the main abuser . My twin brother was eventually placed in a foster home after multiple reports of child abuse and eventually ended up on the streets after more abuse in the foster home and had a big drug problem . 1 brother went to live with his biological father and is a pedo ( just like his step father , my bio father ) and another brother stayed with the main abuser as he was the golden child but got into drugs as he did them with my abuser father . Being taken away sucked big time but , hearing about the downfalls of my older siblings was even harder . Children deserve parents that will love and cherish them and it breaks my heart every time I hear about child neglect and abuse. 😢
I agree, I knew a girl that had 2 kids. She was into heavy drug use, and was even more neglectful than the first clip was. Well, she had one kid taken, and while tripping balls on meth and heroin, she unfortunately murdered her other child. That child would be alive if the system had taken both, and KEPT both away from her. She's serving life now, in Alabama.

All the people that stopped for the kids and called for help are absolutely amazing. Here in Poland, a 14 year old girl just died last week. She was having a stroke and was laying on the snow for 2 hours until one man got her inside a market and called for help. There were so many people that passed her and did nothing. I will always stop and check on people laying around, homeless or not, just to make sure they don't need medical attention. It's so terrifying how apathetic humanity has gotten. People that actually act and do something to help.others restore my hope in humanity ever so slightly
@@trolgeeeeee it was not "it is what it is" situation because it was Poland, not some 3rd world shit hole. As a Pole myself I am totally appalled over what happened, I've always stopped to help a laying person, there was never anything "more important" to do. We're constantly told to do that and it's punishable by law to be caught not providing help. So what happened on that day really feels like there was a glitch in society.
The first officer was really great with that little guy. I really appreciate his behavior. I was often faced with not-so-nice cops when I was a kid, and I think it helped steer me towards some real issues with authority. I'm glad that he made the experience as positive as possible.

At 10:14, I think the narrator manipulated the words of this obviously terrified 19 year old. He claims she said “nothing was crying,” but the closest I found to that statement was her saying: “I was scared, it was not crying or nothing” (8:45). Alexee clearly has no idea how to handle the situation, which carries over to her mother’s irresponsibility, as it would be her mother’s job to prepare her for life. There’s no doubt the mother knew her daughter was pregnant, how could you not notice over the span of 9 months.
The fact that the little boy in the first video had no fear of strangers is heartbreaking. That often means a child has little to no true emotional attachment to their parent(s). This little one deserves.SO much better. Thank God for the two women who stopped to help him before he wandered into traffic!
Oh wow- I used to be completely fearless around strangers until my dad told me horror stories about children being kidnapped for not being cautious around unknown people.
@@novadearest It's not always the case, I swear! I work with kids in "the system" and it's not unusual at all to have them cling to strangers, even when their parents are present. Kids, even ones as young as this boy, seem to know when someone is kind and will treat them well. It can break your heart.
I don't think that is the case as much as you think. Little ones are trusting. When ours were little, they'd go up and talk to anyone...to the point that I was concerned how easy it'd be to take them bc they were so trusting. They just liked to talk to people. My niece and nephew were the same way when they were little. ;) And I always and still am very close to my now teenage kids. And my sister is close to her two, now in their 20's. At home, out daughter would come over next to me, for example, If I were sitting and hold my finger and just sit next to me. I taught middle school math for many years also. I started subbing when my kids started back. Before I got sick. I was subbing in kindergarten /1st grade a lot. Many of them were the same way. ;)
As someone who came from a household with an abusive, manipulative and narcissistic “step-dad”, my heart breaks for these children. Some of us are lucky to get out, some others are not. Prayers that these children are safe and find the peace and joy they deserve

Seeing the one where she left her kids in the hot car for hours to donate plasma made me look back on my own childhood on how normal it was back then . My mother was a single mother and sometimes had to leave us in the car for what seemed like hours bc she couldn’t take us inside. I remember sweating to the point of drenching the seats.. Seeing these type of videos makes me realize how much unhealed trauma can resurface, I’m glad these babies got the help they needed and away from these “parents”.

Other times were for job interviews or shifts in general, sometimes running in the store for a “quick” grocery run. A lot of times I just never even asked any questions since I was used to it, I thought it was normal lol.
I had the same experience with my mom in a Home Depot parking lot. It was literally the MIDDLE OF SUMMER IN PHOENIX. I was maybe 8 or 9. She left me and my infant/toddle bro/sis for almost a hour and a half in the car. It was SO HOT. Car wasn’t on. I remember the kids crying, I’m crying, and I’ll open the doors to let air flow in. Every time someone walked by, I would close the doors and stop crying. My siblings still bawling. Anyways now I’m in therapy 😂
I can't imagine something like that happening to me, even when my mom left me in the car she always told me to lock the doors and she left the keys in so there was air running in the car, these parents make me sick 🙁
@Briann_uhhh OK. I had similar instances with people in my life as a kid. Luckily, not my parents but other people close to my family. Makes you wonder what was going on. Considering most kids feel the adults around them are infallible. Not until we get older do we realize that everyone has their secrets.
The officer's treatment of the child in the first clip was very sweet. Given that I had some really bad experiences with how the police treated me as a kid, it's really heartwarming to see something different. I hope these kids can live a good life.
The police officers that were at my home when I stepped off the school bus treated me very well. My grandmother took me home with her until my dad came home after my mother dropped charges of attempted murder.

I feel so bad for anyone that grew up with memories of screaming for ur parents for hours, or having to hide from ur own parents never feeling safe with them. I can't wait until all cops are like the ones in this video, the ones who came to me outright said my father could do "whatever he saw fit" to punish me. Enabled him to choke me, almost out one time. You never realize how much they messed you up until you have to try three times to ask your friends to "stop" something before you can get the words to come out.

My parents would yell at eacothet alot. Throw things around the house, and put me and my brother in danger. They are better to me and him now but it took me over 3 years of therapy and life long mental issues like PTSD, Depression, and DID. It sucks alot and since I've gotten so used to voices I don't take medicine anymore to stop them. I'm happy now and my parents.. well my mom loves me to death. I've heard of that teen mom from Artesia. There's a lot of missing context. She still did a terrible thing, but was also a scared and confused kid with a very abusive home life. I struggle not to feel at least a little bit bad for her as well as for the baby.
Okay so the first case hits close to home because my own son got out of the house around that age. It was under a matter of minutes while I was folding laundry. HOWEVER, I wasn't on drugs ("sleeping"), I realized almost straight away and I was in an absolute panic. It was by far the worst few minutes of my life and I have experienced pretty horrible things in my life including almost dying in a car accident. I would gladly go through a hundred car accidents if it meant never experiencing the fear and panic of having a missing child. We are surrounded by dense woods and I had no idea which way he went. Luckily he hadn't gotten far and I found him quickly. Largely due to our at the time foster dog running out and locating him (we obviously foster failed and kept him after that) Still, those minutes felt like an eternity. The fact that these "parents" didn't even seem concerned when learning their son was found on a busy road absolutely infuriates me. My heart breaks for that sweet little boy. I hope he is in a stable and loving place. The narrator is right: every child deserves a parent but not every person deserves a child. 😢
Once when me little brother and I were kids and the whole family including us were sleeping at our relatives house my little brother woke up early and actually went outside. He was obsessed with cool looking cars and loved watching them and name what brand they are. So.. he went outside to the streets to watch cars. Thankfully there were like no cars because our relatives live in like a village. Once my mom noticed he is missing, she and my aunt ran outside and saw him. Stuff like this actually happens when parents are good parents. But these parents in this video seemed to be like maybe under drugs? Or maybe they were also in the act that made the kid so uncomfortable he left the house?
I gave my mom a few heart attacks when I was 4/5 years old. Once I took off to the neighbors she didn't think I would have so cops got called and I got escorted home. Second time I wandered off at Disneyland. I had enough sense to find a worker (I went to the storybook boat ride) tell them I was lost and got taken to lost and found. My mom showed up not to much later.
I've ran into the street to stop a child from chasing her dog into traffic, I was willing to die if it meant that a child who slipped out for less than a minute would go home. I can't fathom not caring about finding out MY OWN CHILD WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. I would fucking black out after getting my angel back inside, what's wrong with these animals.
We had to put slide bolts at the top of our exterior doors, cuz my 2 year old daughter, was trying to make a break for it, since she could walk. Never got any futher than the door being opened, but it scared the ish out of me. She is 36 now, and still going at life, pedal to the metal and full tilt! BUT I did manage to keep her alive till ADULTHOOD!😅

As a child who was abused before when I was a kid I knew other abused kids because us abused kids stick together and I had maybe 13 kids in my class 4 or 5 of them were abused including me out of the entire class 1 of them was a bully because they were bullied by there parents and I don’t know if he got out of that household or not, one girl was locked in a room for 6 months her mother didn’t get punishment one girl wasn’t really fed and wouldn’t be let to take a shower, one girl had such a messed up family life that her sister tried to kill her with a knife but ovi failed and I went to there house once they are not that bad but yeah….I take medicine for what I went through and I don’t really remember it but yeah zero of these parents got in trouble and I once knew a girl who was r@p3 by her step father for years her father got no punishment. Idk how none of these parents got in trouble BUT THE TEACHERS I have respect for all the teachers who took care of the class because they were better parent figures then any other parents. Now what do I say to all this? I love my father I’m glad he saved me from my mother I feel bad for all the children I knew who are still going through this I know that my mother will probably never go to jail that girl who was locked in a room for 6 months her mother won’t ever be put in jail but at least she is safe with her father to so I learned from this is that I hate mothers they suck fathers are great except for step fathers they suck and teachers are great.

20:48 unlocked a memory. My mom used to have us sit in the car for hours while she donated. The struggle is real but that lady could’ve done so much better. My mom had water, snacks, and toys for us. Plus she always brought someone else with her so they could take turns taking care of us. It was uncomfortable and boring but at least she did what she needed to do while keeping us safe

@@soundouschannel4388 yeah you can get paid between $40-$80 to donate blood plasma. It’s quick money a couple times a month but it takes a while and kids aren’t usually allowed inside the facility. My mom did it responsibly instead of just leaving me and my brother in a hot car unsupervised to fend for ourselves like the mom in the video.

I‘ve donated plasma multiple times and I can’t remember it ever taking 2 hours or longer from walking in to coming out. I‘m also confused why the mother in this video was able to donate plasma when apparently she was taking drugs regularly enough for the drug court to order her doing a program. I don’t think they would take my plasma if I were to take drugs on a regular basis.
I'm just going to say that I have a feeling that the Alexee Trevizo case has more to it than meets the eye. Abuse, bullying, who knows but for her to want to hide the fact that she was pregnant and then murder her child tells me that something wasn't right in her mind.
Yeah. It is possible that she has some mental disorders that haven't been recognized so it could be properly treated. It's heartbreaking that the child had to die and that his own mother is the one who took it.

With the things probably happening at home that forced her to be so terrified of having a child and so quiet and 'nonchalant' about _ripping umbilical cord right out of herself_ , and an untreated condition that can be quite severe like BD, I can see how things went so wrong. I am not excusing her actions, just saying I can understand that these may be reasons she chose to react that way.

Such a dark story. I've just given birth aged 24 and so it was devastating to hear what happened to the poor child but I also think Alexee could've had a much brighter experience had she had support from her family. If she had come forward about her pregnancy, I'm sure she would've gotten much better support from health care providers too and it could've been avoided (maybe the child could've gone up for adoption if she couldn't support them). She obviously felt she couldn't trust or talk to anyone :( Absolutely heartbreaking. Im a child of a neglectful single mother. Childhood was rough and strange, but despite my mom, i grew up to be a husband and father that im proud to be, and i will always put my son first and give him the best life i possobly can, because hes the best thing ive ever done. So just so you know, theres not much hope for these parents, but these kids can absolutely overcome their upbringing. Not only just in spite of, but also likely through virtue, of these horrible circumstances.

The second story broke my heart. That poor baby. Unfortunately, there are so many cases of teenagers getting pregnant and feeling too scared to tell anyone due to fear of being judged. America needs to get better and teach people what to do if they are pregnant and don't want the child but don't want an abortion. There are tons of adoption agencies and never forget that hospitals and fore stations are safe havens where you can leave a child, no questions asked. It doesn't have to end the way it did with Alexee.

I want to preface this by saying I also agree they both should have gotten full sentences My best guess for why he got off lighter than her is because he admitted to things earlier, and when you are presenting things to a jury and you have one person doing everything to lie suspiciously and one person who comes clean and shows some remorse (even if fake), the person who didn’t come clean will get the harsher sentence.
We need to have attention on good cops like these, as there is mostly bad ones portrayed in the media nowadays, sadly. Like in every group, there are good and bad people, but sometimes we need to give attention to the good ones while still acknowledging the bad ones, since every group has that. The story about Little James is so saddening. Brittany had no regard for her own sons safety. She chose her scummy ass boyfriend over her own kids, that just shows how bad of a mother she is. Honestly true My dad’s parents loved each other so much that when his father had a heart attack, his mother was crying like a madwomman begging to have him revived but when my dad passed out in the car and got into an accident, they told him to go to the cheapest hospital and file the car paper thingys on broad daylight where the heat could have given him a heat stroke. And yet I often experience that as soon as a woman says she doesn't want to have children (for a variety of reasons), the people around her want to persuade her to have a child no matter what. Many people are pigeonholed by society and would have decided against it of their own free will. Then they have children and are not ready for it.

I was good with kids, but always thought in the back of my mind “ What if I hurt them like he hurt me?” No. I couldn’t allow it. I took birth control, used condoms and STILL ended up pregnant but I never knew. I was skinny, not gaining weight no morning sickness nothing to indicate pregnancy. My father had me put away in a mental institution to keep me from continuing to get anyone to help me get away from him. While there they took blood work and discovered I was pregnant, took me to the hospital who told me I was 6 months pregnant. I was 16. They put me on vitamins, took care of me, and I started to show properly. But as I got close to delivery, they told my father he had to come get me. I didn’t want this child, had taken every precaution not to get pregnant, and now this. My son was born, and three days after we went home, I had to take him back to the ER. He was dying, presenting like a dead infant. He had a very rare genetic disorder that no documented child had lived through. I chose then to care for him and love him. They told me he wouldn’t survive past a year old, then six years. He is 32 now, and he has two sisters. Turns out my ferocity to not have kids was not what fate wanted for me. I had a husband, and my son, whom he raised as his and our girls and I moved us all away from my father and mother! I am a great mother, at least I try everyday to be. But my kids are adults, one is married, my son must stay with me, and my youngest 26 has given me a little terror to love. My husband passed away, but I can honestly say we did right by our kids, all three of them. We went without food when times were hard, sold everything we had to survive and give them our best. This is how it should be. But I know the saying isn’t wrong, some people shouldn’t have children. My neighbor is a prime example 😔 CPS finally came to check on her son, but she acted like she wasn’t home 😔 I pray for his safety every day. She treats the dog like she treats her son. Horribly 😢
One of my closest friends grew up with parents like that first couple and eventually by loving grandparents by the time he was about 12. It was absolutely remarkable to see him transform into the rock solid man and provider he is today. His grandparents were amazing
When you think of where he could’ve ended up you realize how lucky he is. Thank goodness his grandparents were able to take care of him and he didn’t end up a product of the system.

Giving birth is the most painful and bravest thing women go through. Its equivalent to breaking many bones at the same time. The most shocking thing is, she was okay with all the pain, bleeding, trauma and injuring she was causing to body by giving birth in the bathroom goes to show that how much their parents terrorized her. When your parents are overly controlling, you like maturity. She was 19, not an adult, but she still didn't know to take pills, abortion, etc. There should be further investigation of who groomed and impregnated her. First 2 women were kind enough to let the cops know and its sad to see how happy the kid was to see his neglectful father, they both looked under the influence. We are living in this crazy 🤣 generation where people with brains choosing not to have kids and people with zero brain cells having multiples.
I don’t think she was groomed the guy was her bf. she gave birth to baby that was alive and killed it. I understand living with a mother like that but there were other options. No reason to take a life out of fear.
My son is two and is highly attached to me and his father. If a stranger tried to hold him he would scream bloody murder and reach for his father and I. Seeing the neglected children not even flinch being held by someone they've never met speaks VOLUMES on how shitty their parents are, so sad.
You should work on weening him from being so attached to you guys. I know it's hard because of the tremendous amount of love that you feel but he needs to start learning to stand on his own. We had to do it with my kids and they have no problems interacting with other people and are very well adjusted.
@@johnnichols3113 trust me, I want the best for my son and I want him to be very outgoing in the best way but our circumstances right now are limited. I'm a stay at home mom looking for work and his dad works with no days off and we don't have alot of time out. There are no kids in the family that are his age and I'm dying to meet someone with a two or three year old so he can mingle and learn how to interact. At parks, he's sweet to kids and will try to run up and play but he is shy. I think once he's in school he'll blossom. I think at two years old, he knows we are his safe space and I just want him to feel safe.

Don't ever think your mailman doesn't know exactly what's going on. In my 33 years as a carrier, I called the police 5 different times to come out and check on unsupervised children under the age of 3. And every single time, I got reamed out by my supervisor for taking too long to do my route.

Videos like these make me realize how amazing my parents are. Are they perfect? No. But they never abused me, gave me everything I needed and more. Gave me life skills and lessons. I even got the bonus of having my parents be together and still are together for nearly 40 years. That’s much more than these poor kids can say…
I actually told my parents what you just said when I was 24 . I said that “I’m thankful that God had blessed me with parents like you because I could’ve been raised by drug addicts, alcoholics, or neglectful people but you were hard-working , you gave of yourselves to take care of me and loved me. “ . They weren’t perfect but neither were we crazy dysfunctional . Looking back , it was a pretty good life. When I told them that , my dad had this stunned look on his face as if he’d seen a space alien . 😂

I’m not a parent yet but I do know this much, parents or at least good parents are always second guessing themselves and just doing the best they can in hopes that they raise their kids to be semi functional adults. idk about you, but i find this a hell of a lot more depressing than inspiring. it's heartbreaking that we live in a world where it's necessary that this man work THREE JOBS to be able to provide for his family. he should be able to do that by working only one job, but minimum wage isn't a livable wage and things are way too expensive and so he's working himself to the bone when he shouldn't have to.

The cop in the first clip is truly a credit to the force. The juxtaposition of that good man against the lousy parents in the video was eye-opening. Police have to deal with the lowest of the low, and I'm sure the horrible stuff they see takes a toll on them. So glad that little boy was rescued from those alcoholics, he seems like such a nice wee lad.

He definitely deserves a raise! ❤ That little boy's parents were both heroin addicts, which explains why they were both passed out in the middle of the day & didn't even notice their son was missing. Also explains why their reactions were so slow, why it took them both so long to wake up & open the door for the cops, why the father took so long just to dress the kid & change his overflowing diaper (that probably hadn't been changed in days), why the mother was so unemotional upon being told that her son had almost been killed, & why she only started crying once she'd been handcuffed & put in the squad car -- she wasn't crying for her son, she was crying because she knew she couldn't take her drugs with her to jail, & she was probably just starting to realize that she'd have to endure the hell of heroin withdrawal behind bars. I hope that poor little boy was removed from their custody for good. Hopefully he was placed with a family member (or foster family) who will actually love him & care for him the way a parent should. No child deserves to grow up with such neglectful, drug-addicted parents.
Watching this makes me realize how good I had it growing up and how fortunate I was to have the parents I did. Never any fighting or abuse in the house, plenty of food, both parents were loving and attentive to my sisters and I and we never went without (actually a bit spoiled at times). But they also taught us about kindness, discipline and hard work. Being a father myself now I couldn’t imagine just not caring about my kids and putting them in danger, just seems like an insane concept to me.
You were very blessed and lucky, and so was my family on most occasions as a child. Eventhough my parents fought like crazy on the daily, my brothers and I were still provided for and taken care of. We were taught about the value of good work ethic and our faith.

Most people are focused on driving, not sight-seeing since that leads to unexperienced or lax drivers running up the backside of a car having to slam on the brakes, etc. It's bad. I love how that first officer behaved with that kid, letting him turn the lights on in his car and having a warm conversion. Just having a little fun and whatnot. Little wholesome moments like that are impossible not to smile at.
I understand that we need to hold officers of the law to high standards of ethics and professionalism, but when kids are involved, you can really hear the anger and frustration in their voices towards the parents. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to hold yourself back from absolutely verbally unloading on someone who harms or neglects their own children. It reminds of just how emotionally draining being a cop has to be at times.
Yes. SO many of these men and women are parents themselves. It would be impossible not to relate personally. This goes for any first responders. Medics, police officers, EMTs, firefighters, nurses, doctors, surgeons, social workers, therapists, even teachers... all the way down the line. ANYONE who interacts with kiddos who witnesses or responds to abuse. It's just sickening.
Yeah, I got to witness that first hand, years ago, but it wasn't directed at me. I got a call that my son, who was in special ed but was easily the most tame student in there by this point. He was a runner at age 7, not an athlete but one of those kids who is so restless that he'll get himself in trouble just to stave off the boredom. By this time he could be trusted to catch the bus at the end of the driveway but apparently he hadn't and two freaking hours after school started they decided to call and ask if he was home! So next thing I know I'm at the middle school sitting in a meeting room talking to a cop, just numb, no idea what to think or feel. I couldn't just let the fear take over because that would be admitting he was actually missing or abducted and not just, I dunno, hiding somewhere I guess. The school had told me, to my blank astonishment, that the bus driver had actually SEEN my son walking down the street and just kept going and didn't bother to tell anyone! I told this to the cop and he was beside himself, speechless for a moment. There was this simmering outrage carefully held back with professionalism. My husband got there soon after, a quiet basket case, and not long after that the assistant principal called the school to say he'd found him and was bringing him back. Short summation of my son's side of it: He'd thought he missed the bus. He didn't want to get in trouble so he decided he was pretty sure he could walk to school (it always seems shorter driving it, man). This was what he was doing when the bus, which had actually been LATE, passed by. He did walk far enough... and overshot it. Somewhere beyond, on the sidewalk and puzzled by his situation, is where he was finally spotted. Now if we'd been more experienced parents, we'd have raised HELL. I wish we had. As it is we still don't know whether that godforsaken driver got canned. A naive 12-year-old is not the one responsible in a situation like this. That bus driver was the one who should have been held accountable. And I wish we'd found a way to make it so that we could see him onto the bus. Mind you... that was the last straw. He never rode the bus again in middle school.

Plus, you had to hold it together because everyone needed to focus on your son, not his parents falling to pieces. You did great under the circumstances and let the cops do their jobs. I don't always like the way cops do things, but I know I could never be one. I watch a lot of true crime and interrogations and detective and cop interviews. Some of these guys will still tear up decades later talking about cases. I'd be crawling across tables to grab these guys around their throats. Nope, couldn't do the job. My son had the habit of simply not coming home after school. Where were you?! I was playing. Arrrggghhh! To this day, I still think my entire insides are turned inside out!
Christ, the car ride back home in that last case must have been awful for the siblings. I can't imagine what it must have been like for those young children to be sitting in the same car with their dead brother who, in Brittany's words, "busted his head open". That sort of trauma is unfathomable to me.
i was thinking the same thing. those kids are going to need therapy for life, they've probably not had a single genuinely loving relationship in their life. i truly hope and pray they come out on top of this, i have 5 kids of my own and my older 3 sons are very close in age to their boys so it was hard for me not to see my own children in them.

I only laughed at one point in this thing and it was the first case when the cop said "you both are getting arrest for child neglect" and the dad said "why?" Me and the cop both at the same time said "what do you mean why?" 😂

As a parent, you should know that's the way kids are and you should know how to get them to calm down and not just stand there helpless like being a loud child is weird and you have no clue how to handle it. This video can be a reminder when you see a "bad kid" or a misbehaved child...you NEVER know what they are going through at home. As much as possible, treat them with grace and respect because in most cases, the parents are at fault. Not all the time...but in most.
There is a point that the kids are responsible for their own actions, just as these 'parents' were once kids who probably suffered abuse or trauma are now held responsible, kids sho were raised terribly will have to answer for their actions and cant blame their upbringing. I agree we should still love and care and be understanding, but also be stern and not accept poor choices or actions as okay even with the excuse of being raised wrong

And to correct myself I break down watching any kid go through abuse so my feelings aren’t limited to just my own children. I would never stand there and have any kids be harmed in my presence, even if it means getting yourself between them and the danger, or even getting your ass handed to ya. Families nowadays aren’t what they where when I grew up, with big family holidays and get togethers, it’s all so separate I feel like this has had an impact on young kids today. And leads to parents who are single ( I’m a single dad with a 9 &16 year old) doing it all myself cash outta pocket no government help and it’s a point of pride to me, that being said it’s easy to get overwhelmed. But it’s never the kids fault and it seems parents lacking the support they use to have turn to this type of stuff it’s scary to think about And it creates adults who seem to continue this violent behavior in the next generation

My dad used to be a police officer. One story he would always tell me about is a raid he did on crack house. There were 5 kids inside, 2 baby’s had full diaper and the older kids had nothing on at all. After everyone inside had been rounded up and arrested, my dad and his partner spent the next 45 minutes trying to clean them up and find them cloths. My dad said when he got home he just hugged me and my siblings as hard as he could, then spent the rest of the day playing board games and watching a movie with us. Best dad even, I don’t know how he could go about seeing things like that then come home and have the energy to raise us. I love him to death. Sorry for the long text, this video just got to me.

Lay Crisis Counselor/First Responder/Foster/Adopt parent! And got a few meth houses etc shut down & prosecuted! And the abused babies saved! By GOD'S GRACE! ❤ You carry each life with you always! I can't get out anymore, but pray without ceasing for the broken! And children's development in those first few years is so critical & formative! Say you have a baby that receives no appropriate nurturing, if there is not intervention within the first 19 months of life then there becomes irreparable damage! They always have trouble bonding & receiving after that! Have watched it play out multi generational with siblings! 1 is able to go on & become a nursing caring parent, & 1 has issues that carry on & hamper healthy parenting!

My dad was in the Army for 25 years and I have similar stories. Even my mom after sandy hook happened told me about it just so she could hug me I was in my first year of college but she still saw me as her baby. I'm glad to see others that were just as lucky to have at least one beautiful parent in their lives.

In case anyone doesn't realize, the parents in the first video were likely passed out on heroin. Both very sedated and confused, mom rubbing the side of her nose (common itchy spot with opioid users), and their alibi was literally "we were sleeping". Getting high was more important to them than whether their child lives or dies.

when i worked for CPS, my favourite kid was a lot like the first one. three year old boy who had absolutely no boundaries or concept of stranger danger. he was allowed to run loose and would often run in to the streets and his mom & her boyfriend (who was a sexual predator, mind you) would get high and ignore him. he was diagnosed with reactive attachment disorder and has really explosive tantrums and odd behaviours, but the sweetest kid in the world. long story short, he’s back with dad and in a loving and happy home, and i’m friends with his dad on facebook so i can keep up with him. ☺️ he was probably the biggest influence in my life to go back to school for forensic psychology.

The fact that Alexee kept insisting that she had never had sex to the doctors, the fact that she kept saying she wasn't pregnant and that she just had back pain, and the fact that she opted to go through the extremely painful and exhausting act of labor and delivery in a bathroom alone tells me that she was so terrified of her mother that she would rather risk serious injury of laboring in a bathroom alone then kill and hide the newborn than admit to her mother that she has had sex. At the age of 19 she is an adult, but her mother's first reaction to hearing what happened was to calmly say, "do you want to be in trouble?" which causes Alexee to immediately start crying and panicking. When the nurse says that she's not a minor and can make her own medical decisions about going to the labor unit to make sure she doesn't get an infection from partial delivery of the placenta, alexees mother immediately jumps in, "no she's still in school. I need to be in the loop" as if her being in school means that she's not a legal adult who must make her own decisions. Alexees mother comes across as authoritarian, controlling, and abusive. In the next clip we see her being confronted by the police at home with a warrant for alexees arrest. The mother stands in the way of the door and demands they tell her everything about what's going on instead of simply handing over her daughter who very clearly and undoubtedly killed her newborn baby. "but this is my house" doesn't matter, they have a warrant for alexees arrest not for your home. "Can I go with her when you take her to the station?" This doesn't concern you, your daughter is the adult and the murderer and you do not have a reason to be there. "So what is she under arrest for?" You have got to be kidding, you were literally there when they found the body.
Alexees mother is a controlling and overbearing person who requires everything to include or revolve around her in typical narcissist fashion and I can easily see why Alexee was so terrified of her mother knowing of her not being a virgin that she instead opted to labor alone in a bathroom and kill /hide her newborn rather than let her mom down. Fucked up but I can see it.
Huh?.. bud, she killed and mauled the baby the second he was born. She snapped his neck, and ripped the umbilical cord out of him... No, this was her being in denial, and being selfish and delusional. But not everyone is kicked out at 17 and works at a restaurant to pay their way through senior year of high school. Obviously she needs to do time and receive a lifetime of therapy but no, she didn't tear the baby apart. She tore the umbilical cord apart because she was giving birth alone. That's where the blood came from. She likely put her hand over the baby's mouth as soon as it came out. The reality of it is horrifying and what happened seems so obviously avoidable but she didn't do it because she's evil or psychotic. She was just delusional about a baby that didn't even exist to her until it was out of her for a moment.
The first officer deserves a commendation not just for arresting the poor excuse of parents, but for his wonderful treatment of the child. Poor baby was so enjoying the kindness and attention of both women and the officer. Thank God for these caring ladies and this amazing officer.

The Alexee case is a little confusing. For someone to be that terrified of telling their mother that they're pregnant, and do whatever they can to hide it, makes me wonder if her mother was horrible too.
Maybe, but it also seems likely she got pregnant as a college student, and she knew that if she was found out, she would have to raise a baby alone. The parents aren't angels but abusive is pushing it. The mother seemed strict, as in, she doesn't want her kid having a child while pursuing a degree.

The mother honestly gives off controlling abusive parent vibes and to an extent neglectful.. as she doesn't seem to show any compassion and care for her daughter's well being in the hospital. Seemingly her only concern are the troubles Alexee will cause to her.
You would think that an unexpected teen pregnancy should have the family heavily involved, with support and welfare of the teen until she gives birth and onwards.. that is if they decided to have and raise the baby.
I think that it's obvious that the biggest reason why Alexee is in complete denial of her pregnancy, was her home life.. her family's circumstances does not have the capacity to support her, or much less even accept her pregnancy. That's what goes with unwanted teen pregnancies and strict, borderline abusive families.
No normal, healthy thinking person would be able to do that to their own baby.. Alexee was fully unprepared, and in complete denial of her pregnancy.. and she find that her only way out, was to get rid of her own child, as if it's just "nothing".
She's mentally incapacitated.. incapable of making sound decisions, reckless and acts on impulse, all signs of long term effect of abuse and neglect.
While it still doesn't justify murder for those reasons.. these people need more than anything to firstly rehabilitate and get therapy, as putting them straight in jail won't help them to get better.

As someone who got taken out of my family by CPS at 11 years old ( 38 now ) it flipping sucked , the alternative was live in foster care or be place with relatives in another province .
When 1 child gets taken away , all children should be taken away and I’ll tell you why .
I was “rescued” where as my brothers were still kept in the same house with the main abuser . My twin brother was eventually placed in a foster home after multiple reports of child abuse and eventually ended up on the streets after more abuse in the foster home and had a big drug problem . 1 brother went to live with his biological father and is a pedo ( just like his step father , my bio father ) and another brother stayed with the main abuser as he was the golden child but got into drugs as he did them with my abuser father .
Being taken away sucked big time but , hearing about the downfalls of my older siblings was even harder .
Children deserve parents that will love and cherish them and it breaks my heart every time I hear about child neglect and abuse. 😢

I agree, I knew a girl that had 2 kids. She was into heavy drug use, and was even more neglectful than the first clip was. Well, she had one kid taken, and while tripping balls on meth and heroin, she unfortunately murdered her other child. That child would be alive if the system had taken both, and KEPT both away from her. She's serving life now, in Alabama.

All the people that stopped for the kids and called for help are absolutely amazing. Here in Poland, a 14 year old girl just died last week. She was having a stroke and was laying on the snow for 2 hours until one man got her inside a market and called for help. There were so many people that passed her and did nothing. I will always stop and check on people laying around, homeless or not, just to make sure they don't need medical attention. It's so terrifying how apathetic humanity has gotten. People that actually act and do something to help.others restore my hope in humanity ever so slightly

The first officer was really great with that little guy. I really appreciate his behavior. I was often faced with not-so-nice cops when I was a kid, and I think it helped steer me towards some real issues with authority. I'm glad that he made the experience as positive as possible.

At 10:14, I think the narrator manipulated the words of this obviously terrified 19 year old. He claims she said “nothing was crying,” but the closest I found to that statement was her saying: “I was scared, it was not crying or nothing” (8:45). Alexee clearly has no idea how to handle the situation, which carries over to her mother’s irresponsibility, as it would be her mother’s job to prepare her for life. There’s no doubt the mother knew her daughter was pregnant, how could you not notice over the span of 9 months.

@@novadearest It's not always the case, I swear! I work with kids in "the system" and it's not unusual at all to have them cling to strangers, even when their parents are present. Kids, even ones as young as this boy, seem to know when someone is kind and will treat them well. It can break your heart.
I don't think that is the case as much as you think. Little ones are trusting. When ours were little, they'd go up and talk to anyone...to the point that I was concerned how easy it'd be to take them bc they were so trusting. They just liked to talk to people. My niece and nephew were the same way when they were little. ;) And I always and still am very close to my now teenage kids. And my sister is close to her two, now in their 20's. At home, out daughter would come over next to me, for example, If I were sitting and hold my finger and just sit next to me. I taught middle school math for many years also. I started subbing when my kids started back. Before I got sick. I was subbing in kindergarten /1st grade a lot. Many of them were the same way. ;)
As someone who came from a household with an abusive, manipulative and narcissistic “step-dad”, my heart breaks for these children. Some of us are lucky to get out, some others are not. Prayers that these children are safe and find the peace and joy they deserve

Seeing the one where she left her kids in the hot car for hours to donate plasma made me look back on my own childhood on how normal it was back then . My mother was a single mother and sometimes had to leave us in the car for what seemed like hours bc she couldn’t take us inside. I remember sweating to the point of drenching the seats.. Seeing these type of videos makes me realize how much unhealed trauma can resurface, I’m glad these babies got the help they needed and away from these “parents”.

Other times were for job interviews or shifts in general, sometimes running in the store for a “quick” grocery run. A lot of times I just never even asked any questions since I was used to it, I thought it was normal lol.
I had the same experience with my mom in a Home Depot parking lot. It was literally the MIDDLE OF SUMMER IN PHOENIX. I was maybe 8 or 9. She left me and my infant/toddle bro/sis for almost a hour and a half in the car. It was SO HOT. Car wasn’t on. I remember the kids crying, I’m crying, and I’ll open the doors to let air flow in. Every time someone walked by, I would close the doors and stop crying. My siblings still bawling.
Anyways now I’m in therapy 😂
I can't imagine something like that happening to me, even when my mom left me in the car she always told me to lock the doors and she left the keys in so there was air running in the car, these parents make me sick 🙁
@Briann_uhhh OK. I had similar instances with people in my life as a kid. Luckily, not my parents but other people close to my family. Makes you wonder what was going on. Considering most kids feel the adults around them are infallible. Not until we get older do we realize that everyone has their secrets.
The officer's treatment of the child in the first clip was very sweet. Given that I had some really bad experiences with how the police treated me as a kid, it's really heartwarming to see something different. I hope these kids can live a good life.
The police officers that were at my home when I stepped off the school bus treated me very well. My grandmother took me home with her until my dad came home after my mother dropped charges of attempted murder.

I feel so bad for anyone that grew up with memories of screaming for ur parents for hours, or having to hide from ur own parents never feeling safe with them. Especially if no one noticed or did anything. Abuse is disgusting, especially showing no empathy for their child if they DO get caught. I hate people so much and this is why.

I can't wait until all cops are like the ones in this video, the ones who came to me outright said my father could do "whatever he saw fit" to punish me. Enabled him to choke me, almost out one time. You never realize how much they messed you up until you have to try three times to ask your friends to "stop" something before you can get the words to come out.

My parents would yell at eacothet alot. Throw things around the house, and put me and my brother in danger. They are better to me and him now but it took me over 3 years of therapy and life long mental issues like PTSD, Depression, and DID. It sucks alot and since I've gotten so used to voices I don't take medicine anymore to stop them. I'm happy now and my parents.. well my mom loves me to death. I've heard of that teen mom from Artesia. There's a lot of missing context. She still did a terrible thing, but was also a scared and confused kid with a very abusive home life. I struggle not to feel at least a little bit bad for her as well as for the baby.

Okay so the first case hits close to home because my own son got out of the house around that age. It was under a matter of minutes while I was folding laundry. HOWEVER, I wasn't on drugs ("sleeping"), I realized almost straight away and I was in an absolute panic. It was by far the worst few minutes of my life and I have experienced pretty horrible things in my life including almost dying in a car accident. I would gladly go through a hundred car accidents if it meant never experiencing the fear and panic of having a missing child. We are surrounded by dense woods and I had no idea which way he went. Luckily he hadn't gotten far and I found him quickly. Largely due to our at the time foster dog running out and locating him (we obviously foster failed and kept him after that) Still, those minutes felt like an eternity. The fact that these "parents" didn't even seem concerned when learning their son was found on a busy road absolutely infuriates me. My heart breaks for that sweet little boy. I hope he is in a stable and loving place. The narrator is right: every child deserves a parent but not every person deserves a child. 😢
Once when me little brother and I were kids and the whole family including us were sleeping at our relatives house my little brother woke up early and actually went outside. He was obsessed with cool looking cars and loved watching them and name what brand they are. So.. he went outside to the streets to watch cars. Thankfully there were like no cars because our relatives live in like a village. Once my mom noticed he is missing, she and my aunt ran outside and saw him. Stuff like this actually happens when parents are good parents. But these parents in this video seemed to be like maybe under drugs? Or maybe they were also in the act that made the kid so uncomfortable he left the house?
I gave my mom a few heart attacks when I was 4/5 years old. Once I took off to the neighbors she didn't think I would have so cops got called and I got escorted home. Second time I wandered off at Disneyland. I had enough sense to find a worker (I went to the storybook boat ride) tell them I was lost and got taken to lost and found. My mom showed up not to much later.
I've ran into the street to stop a child from chasing her dog into traffic, I was willing to die if it meant that a child who slipped out for less than a minute would go home. I can't fathom not caring about finding out MY OWN CHILD WAS ON THE HIGHWAY. I would fucking black out after getting my angel back inside, what's wrong with these animals.
We had to put slide bolts at the top of our exterior doors, cuz my 2 year old daughter, was trying to make a break for it, since she could walk. Never got any futher than the door being opened, but it scared the ish out of me. She is 36 now, and still going at life, pedal to the metal and full tilt! BUT I did manage to keep her alive till ADULTHOOD!😅

As a child who was abused before when I was a kid I knew other abused kids because us abused kids stick together and I had maybe 13 kids in my class 4 or 5 of them were abused including me out of the entire class 1 of them was a bully because they were bullied by there parents and I don’t know if he got out of that household or not, one girl was locked in a room for 6 months her mother didn’t get punishment one girl wasn’t really fed and wouldn’t be let to take a shower, one girl had such a messed up family life that her sister tried to kill her with a knife but ovi failed and I went to there house once they are not that bad but yeah….I take medicine for what I went through and I don’t really remember it but yeah zero of these parents got in trouble and I once knew a girl who was r@p3 by her step father for years her father got no punishment. Idk how none of these parents got in trouble BUT THE TEACHERS I have respect for all the teachers who took care of the class because they were better parent figures then any other parents. Now what do I say to all this? I love my father I’m glad he saved me from my mother I feel bad for all the children I knew who are still going through this I know that my mother will probably never go to jail that girl who was locked in a room for 6 months her mother won’t ever be put in jail but at least she is safe with her father to so I learned from this is that I hate mothers they suck fathers are great except for step fathers they suck and teachers are great.

20:48 unlocked a memory. My mom used to have us sit in the car for hours while she donated. The struggle is real but that lady could’ve done so much better. My mom had water, snacks, and toys for us. Plus she always brought someone else with her so they could take turns taking care of us. It was uncomfortable and boring but at least she did what she needed to do while keeping us safe

@@soundouschannel4388 yeah you can get paid between $40-$80 to donate blood plasma. It’s quick money a couple times a month but it takes a while and kids aren’t usually allowed inside the facility. My mom did it responsibly instead of just leaving me and my brother in a hot car unsupervised to fend for ourselves like the mom in the video.

I‘m also confused why the mother in this video was able to donate plasma when apparently she was taking drugs regularly enough for the drug court to order her doing a program. I don’t think they would take my plasma if I were to take drugs on a regular basis.
I'm just going to say that I have a feeling that the Alexee Trevizo case has more to it than meets the eye. Abuse, bullying, who knows but for her to want to hide the fact that she was pregnant and then murder her child tells me that something wasn't right in her mind.
Yeah. It is possible that she has some mental disorders that haven't been recognized so it could be properly treated. It's heartbreaking that the child had to die and that his own mother is the one who took it.

With the things probably happening at home that forced her to be so terrified of having a child and so quiet and 'nonchalant' about _ripping umbilical cord right out of herself_ , and an untreated condition that can be quite severe like BD, I can see how things went so wrong.
I am not excusing her actions, just saying I can understand that these may be reasons she chose to react that way.

Such a dark story. I've just given birth aged 24 and so it was devastating to hear what happened to the poor child but I also think Alexee could've had a much brighter experience had she had support from her family. If she had come forward about her pregnancy, I'm sure she would've gotten much better support from health care providers too and it could've been avoided (maybe the child could've gone up for adoption if she couldn't support them). She obviously felt she couldn't trust or talk to anyone :(

Childhood was rough and strange, but despite my mom, i grew up to be a husband and father that im proud to be, and i will always put my son first and give him the best life i possobly can, because hes the best thing ive ever done.
So just so you know, theres not much hope for these parents, but these kids can absolutely overcome their upbringing. Not only just in spite of, but also likely through virtue, of these horrible circumstances.

At 6 years old, his school would have done a well child check. And with the two older boys going to school, they would have said something. It would have come out, it just would taken longer.
The second story broke my heart. That poor baby. Unfortunately, there are so many cases of teenagers getting pregnant and feeling too scared to tell anyone due to fear of being judged. America needs to get better and teach people what to do if they are pregnant and don't want the child but don't want an abortion. There are tons of adoption agencies and never forget that hospitals and fore stations are safe havens where you can leave a child, no questions asked. It doesn't have to end the way it did with Alexee.

My best guess for why he got off lighter than her is because he admitted to things earlier, and when you are presenting things to a jury and you have one person doing everything to lie suspiciously and one person who comes clean and shows some remorse (even if fake), the person who didn’t come clean will get the harsher sentence.

He was dying, presenting like a dead infant. He had a very rare genetic disorder that no documented child had lived through. I chose then to care for him and love him. They told me he wouldn’t survive past a year old, then six years. He is 32 now, and he has two sisters. Turns out my ferocity to not have kids was not what fate wanted for me. I had a husband, and my son, whom he raised as his and our girls and I moved us all away from my father and mother! I am a great mother, at least I try everyday to be. But my kids are adults, one is married, my son must stay with me, and my youngest 26 has given me a little terror to love. My husband passed away, but I can honestly say we did right by our kids, all three of them. We went without food when times were hard, sold everything we had to survive and give them our best. This is how it should be.
But I know the saying isn’t wrong, some people shouldn’t have children. My neighbor is a prime example 😔 CPS finally came to check on her son, but she acted like she wasn’t home 😔 I pray for his safety every day. She treats the dog like she treats her son. Horribly 😢

One of my closest friends grew up with parents like that first couple and eventually by loving grandparents by the time he was about 12. It was absolutely remarkable to see him transform into the rock solid man and provider he is today. His grandparents were amazing
When you think of where he could’ve ended up you realize how lucky he is. Thank goodness his grandparents were able to take care of him and he didn’t end up a product of the system.

Giving birth is the most painful and bravest thing women go through. Its equivalent to breaking many bones at the same time. The most shocking thing is, she was okay with all the pain, bleeding, trauma and injuring she was causing to body by giving birth in the bathroom goes to show that how much their parents terrorized her. I'm a stay at home mom looking for work and his dad works with no days off and we don't have alot of time out. There are no kids in the family that are his age and I'm dying to meet someone with a two or three year old so he can mingle and learn how to interact. At parks, he's sweet to kids and will try to run up and play but he is shy. I think once he's in school he'll blossom. I think at two years old, he knows we are his safe space and I just want him to feel safe.

Don't ever think your mailman doesn't know exactly what's going on. In my 33 years as a carrier, I called the police 5 different times to come out and check on unsupervised children under the age of 3. And every single time, I got reamed out by my supervisor for taking too long to do my route.

Videos like these make me realize how amazing my parents are. Are they perfect? No. But they never abused me, gave me everything I needed and more. Gave me life skills and lessons. I even got the bonus of having my parents be together and still are together for nearly 40 years. That’s much more than these poor kids can say…

I said that “I’m thankful that God had blessed me with parents like you because I could’ve been raised by drug addicts, alcoholics, or neglectful people but you were hard-working , you gave of yourselves to take care of me and loved me. “ . That little boy's parents were both heroin addicts, which explains why they were both passed out in the middle of the day & didn't even notice their son was missing. Also explains why their reactions were so slow, why it took them both so long to wake up & open the door for the cops, why the father took so long just to dress the kid & change his overflowing diaper (that probably hadn't been changed in days), why the mother was so unemotional upon being told that her son had almost been killed, & why she only started crying once she'd been handcuffed & put in the squad car -- she wasn't crying for her son, she was crying because she knew she couldn't take her drugs with her to jail, & she was probably just starting to realize that she'd have to endure the hell of heroin withdrawal behind bars. I hope that poor little boy was removed from their custody for good. Hopefully he was placed with a family member (or foster family) who will actually love him & care for him the way a parent should. No child deserves to grow up with such neglectful, drug-addicted parents.
Watching this makes me realize how good I had it growing up and how fortunate I was to have the parents I did. Never any fighting or abuse in the house, plenty of food, both parents were loving and attentive to my sisters and I and we never went without (actually a bit spoiled at times). But they also taught us about kindness, discipline and hard work. Being a father myself now I couldn’t imagine just not caring about my kids and putting them in danger, just seems like an insane concept to me.

I love how that first officer behaved with that kid, letting him turn the lights on in his car and having a warm conversion. Just having a little fun and whatnot. Little wholesome moments like that are impossible not to smile at.
I understand that we need to hold officers of the law to high standards of ethics and professionalism, but when kids are involved, you can really hear the anger and frustration in their voices towards the parents. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to hold yourself back from absolutely verbally unloading on someone who harms or neglects their own children. It reminds of just how emotionally draining being a cop has to be at times.

Yes. SO many of these men and women are parents themselves. It would be impossible not to relate personally. This goes for any first responders. Medics, police officers, EMTs, firefighters, nurses, doctors, surgeons, social workers, therapists, even teachers... all the way down the line. ANYONE who interacts with kiddos who witnesses or responds to abuse. It's just sickening.
Yeah, I got to witness that first hand, years ago, but it wasn't directed at me. I got a call that my son, who was in special ed but was easily the most tame student in there by this point. He was a runner at age 7, not an athlete but one of those kids who is so restless that he'll get himself in trouble just to stave off the boredom. By this time he could be trusted to catch the bus at the end of the driveway but apparently he hadn't and two freaking hours after school started they decided to call and ask if he was home!
So next thing I know I'm at the middle school sitting in a meeting room talking to a cop, just numb, no idea what to think or feel. I couldn't just let the fear take over because that would be admitting he was actually missing or abducted and not just, I dunno, hiding somewhere I guess. The school had told me, to my blank astonishment, that the bus driver had actually SEEN my son walking down the street and just kept going and didn't bother to tell anyone! I told this to the cop and he was beside himself, speechless for a moment. There was this simmering outrage carefully held back with professionalism.
My husband got there soon after, a quiet basket case, and not long after that the assistant principal called the school to say he'd found him and was bringing him back.
Short summation of my son's side of it: He'd thought he missed the bus. He didn't want to get in trouble so he decided he was pretty sure he could walk to school (it always seems shorter driving it, man). This was what he was doing when the bus, which had actually been LATE, passed by. He did walk far enough... and overshot it. Somewhere beyond, on the sidewalk and puzzled by his situation, is where he was finally spotted.
Now if we'd been more experienced parents, we'd have raised HELL. I wish we had. As it is we still don't know whether that godforsaken driver got canned.
A naive 12-year-old is not the one responsible in a situation like this. That bus driver was the one who should have been held accountable. And I wish we'd found a way to make it so that we could see him onto the bus. Mind you... that was the last straw. He never rode the bus again in middle school.

Plus, you had to hold it together because everyone needed to focus on your son, not his parents falling to pieces. You did great under the circumstances and let the cops do their jobs.
I don't always like the way cops do things, but I know I could never be one. I watch a lot of true crime and interrogations and detective and cop interviews. Some of these guys will still tear up decades later talking about cases. I'd be crawling across tables to grab these guys around their throats. Nope, couldn't do the job.
My son had the habit of simply not coming home after school. Where were you?! I was playing. Arrrggghhh! To this day, I still think my entire insides are turned inside out!

Christ, the car ride back home in that last case must have been awful for the siblings. I can't imagine what it must have been like for those young children to be sitting in the same car with their dead brother who, in Brittany's words, "busted his head open". That sort of trauma is unfathomable to me.
i was thinking the same thing. those kids are going to need therapy for life, they've probably not had a single genuinely loving relationship in their life. i truly hope and pray they come out on top of this, i have 5 kids of my own and my older 3 sons are very close in age to their boys so it was hard for me not to see my own children in them.

I only laughed at one point in this thing and it was the first case when the cop said "you both are getting arrest for child neglect" and the dad said "why?" Me and the cop both at the same time said "what do you mean why?" 😂

As a parent, you should know that's the way kids are and you should know how to get them to calm down and not just stand there helpless like being a loud child is weird and you have no clue how to handle it. This video can be a reminder when you see a "bad kid" or a misbehaved child...you NEVER know what they are going through at home. As much as possible, treat them with grace and respect because in most cases, the parents are at fault. Not all the time...but in most.
There is a point that the kids are responsible for their own actions, just as these 'parents' were once kids who probably suffered abuse or trauma are now held responsible, kids sho were raised terribly will have to answer for their actions and cant blame their upbringing.
I agree we should still love and care and be understanding, but also be stern and not accept poor choices or actions as okay even with the excuse of being raised wrong

Don’t be to hard on yourself I can tell in the short convo your not dumb maybe just need a little more life experience is all or as we nerds say “lvl” up. And to correct myself I break down watching any kid go through abuse so my feelings aren’t limited to just my own children. I would never stand there and have any kids be harmed in my presence, even if it means getting yourself between them and the danger, or even getting your ass handed to ya. Families nowadays aren’t what they where when I grew up, with big family holidays and get togethers, it’s all so separate I feel like this has had an impact on young kids today. And leads to parents who are single ( I’m a single dad with a 9 &16 year old) doing it all myself cash outta pocket no government help and it’s a point of pride to me, that being said it’s easy to get overwhelmed. But it’s never the kids fault and it seems parents lacking the support they use to have turn to this type of stuff it’s scary to think about And it creates adults who seem to continue this violent behavior in the next generation
