You can use an app like Audacity or the voice recorder app that comes with Windows!

@nutella9261 wait.. So the reason why my microphone is so muddy has to do with how its connected? Its the sudotack st800 and it sounds super clean in people's videos of it

Hey I've done everything that u mentioned in this video but my microphone is not picking up any sound. I'm using the bahringer uphoria UM2 audio interface and I've physically also connected all the cables into my laptop. hello there! i got a lil problem. after i rightclick the microphone, the tab just closes itself
i have a Mezire Lavalier 3.5mm microphone. When i connect it to my pc's microphone port, windows recognises the mic but no recording is happening. I checked the same mic with my laptop and the mic works fine. Please help

i have a small problem so i want use the speakers of my laptop but not the microphone of the laptop but i can only select or use the microphone from the laptop and the speaker of the laptop or whit a headset and the microphone how do i fix this?

I bought a USB mic for my youtube channel. How do you record your voice and save it so you can edit it later on your recorded clips? I'm recording my vidoes on my phone and I want to record my voice via the mic on my laptop so that I can blend them together in a video editing software and create a video where I'm talking. What I do is I record all of my audio in Audacity (I have tutorials to install and set it up if needed). Then I edit them together on DaVinci Resolve

this might be a dumb question, but I have a Tonor microphone hooked up for Skype. A friend was asking if it's possible to use it for your computer, in Windows, for giving it commands, like opening certain things online. It doesn't sound possible, but I'm checking it out for him
If you mean like voice commands, you should be able to use Cortana for a lot of things.
I am using a 3.5 y splitter adapter and I can hear but not speak I plugged both cords in the right places but I still can talk I set it to my input but still there’s nothing

Hi! My question is how to record sound on PC? When I choose the recorder app it says I have to set up a mic, but it is already set up and works well!
I don’t think you can use the recorder app for PC sound, you’ll need a different app

Will I still get sound coming out of my monitor am using a hdmi cable but my mic isnt a headset it just for speaking through its arriving this weekend
You'll be able to disable your monitor's sound in the sound control panel. It will be in the playback tab, just disable anything you don't want to make noise. Let me know if you have any more questions :)

Hey, I did this yesterday and it worked so thank you, but I unplugged my whole pc to clean it today and now it’s not working? I followed the video and did what you said but it’s not working on discord but it is showing on the sound menu?
That's strange. I can't think of any reason that it would suddenly stop working. Is it just discord that it doesn't work on or is it any app? Maybe test it with the voice recorder app

@@TropicalTech it works fine on the voice recorder, but the only 2 voice chat apps I use is discord and Xbox app
@@LexctrRL Must be something within discord, try looking in the voice and video settings and select your mic in the input section

That should be a dual port
