- Salmon fishing on the river Spey at Tulchan . Where could be better . It is a beautiful river and a joy to fish and when you have great company you would not want to be anywhere else. This video is only to show how great the pools are to fish and for those that haven't fished here before its the chance to have a look at the river and hopefully help them to make the effort to come have a day or two
Great video Iain , lovely view of the river , The Ariel view etc For me I didn’t enjoy as much as your normal broadcast , I asked myself why , it’s the sound of the river , you being in the water the flow ,
The sound , much better 😊
thanks for the input Tony I will try mix it up a bit and see if that works in the future if it doesn't do it for you let me know.
Cheers Iain. 🥃
Excellent Iain, thanks.
Thanks Paul I have had a bit of fun trying to work out how to fly the wee toy and sometimes the odd bad word !!!
Cheers Iain 🥃
Waow, amazing video. It's great to see from the sky. Cheers 🍻👍👊
Thanks again Tommy it is a bit off a faff trying to work out how to use the wee toy but it lets me see some flow in the river that I can't see from ground level Cheers Iain. 🥃
Great video Ian beautiful stretch of river wouldn't mind a few casts there. Was on the river Nore today one fish got just below me. Things are looking up. Tight lines keep up the great work.
There sees to be fish moving into the rivers in greater numbers Paddy . we can only hope that it continues Cheers and tight lines 🥃
She sure is a big river Iain, thanks for the insights, great watch. Tight lines sir!!
Thank you Steve I wasn't sure if it was a good idea but I am glad that I have and now getting comments that approve.

And they ask why people go fishing, just delightful, cheers Iain- come on you big fishes!! soon I hope, tight lines for that Springer eh!!
Thank Peter The pools on most rivers look totally different from above and I am glad that I have managed to show them from another angle Tight Lines Cheers Iain. 🥃
Great footage Ian we are using drones to survey possible spawning Redd's in Germany. I suppose these are more upstream in your case? Magnificent piece of countryside.
Speyside is a great place to be as well as the beautiful countryside there is a lot of distilleries making some of the best malts in Scotland Christopher . Drones have there uses and its not until I have seen the pools from above that I have got a different perspective Cheers Iain. 🥃
Great video Iain definitely interesting seeing it from above. Now do I drone soon too 😂🤔
it is a big learning curve for an old man like myself but it will possibly come naturally to yourself . I am fortunate that the wee thing has a sensor to make it return to home when I loose it 🫣😃. Cheers Iain. 🥃
Gostei muito, pena não ver o seu companheiro fisgar um salmão 👍
Thank you amadeurafael I can only imagine your comment is a good one with the thumbs up 👌. Cheers Iain. 🥃
MG that is just the best water I have seen. May I ask what the cost of a day/ week ticket is ?
Hi William. I am not very sure of the price as my friend sorted out the booking for three days fishing, accommodation and food and I paid the what he asked for. I think that a days fishing would be around about £80 but not sure Cheers Iain. 🥃
@@IainSB thanks, I thought about that. Hope you meet a big one soon !
👍
Hi Iain, great drone footage at the start of the video . Didn’t look like a lot of anglers fishing that beat Iain as it looked a beautiful piece of water. Were there any caught that day? Great viewing best of luck in the next one. Cheers 🍷. Steve.
There wasn't a fish caught or a fin seen that day Steve. I was asked to fish beat A the next day and when Myself and Jim moved there Bill that was fishing down from the hut managed a silver runner from the March pool at the bottom of the beat
Cheers Iain. 🥃
🎣😎👍
👌. tight lines I hope that you are doing a lot of catching.

Does anyone ever catch any fish ?
It has been a slow start to the season David with very few fish being caught all I can suggest is you have a look at the video I will add once once I edit it in a week or so Cheers Iain. 🥃
@@IainSB look forward to it Iain 👍

I think that was on the day that you phoned me while I was driving back from the March pool . I stayed on Tulchan estate in on one of the lodges on the hillside and the vies were stunning
