Dirk is a class act who truly cares about his fans/band. My mother works for him I wrote him a letter for her to give him just to tell him I appreciate his talent and low and behold he wrote me a letter a pair of signed drum sticks. Awesome guy! Keep rocking Dirk from IA!!!

Great Sound and playing. This is a DrumFestival and not a Band-Production.
So i like to hear the Cymbals/Drums how they really sound and don´t want to listen to overproduced music (Maybe somebody have other preferences) This is very well done here. Thank you.

His snare sounded fine to me. I liked the ring that came with each hit.
It was the mic/placement and the loudness of the cymbals that killed the overall sound no doubt..There's a good snare sound in there somewhere

Snare is not Garbage. Its not well tuned pra a too loose snare setting. No micing or mixing problem. Dirk play high end kits.
His last name ...verbeuren sounds alot like it`s a Dutch surname. In the Dutch tongue verbeuren means FORFEIT.

and Verbeuren is not a dutch name, Belgium and the Netherlands are totally different, but he is a beast drummer nevertheless, doesn't matter where he comes from in my book.

not to much compression, its a time thing, after a while you will love this snare ;) and from Lars, the snare has sound more like a thrashcan .
Dude is so wasted playing for megadeath.
Just wait until the new album comes out., truth is there's tons of killer drummers out there just as good but can only post stuff on RUclips, being in band as established like Megadeth is every metal drummer's dream, I'm sure Dirk is living comfortably(money wise) as his hard work has finally paid off.

Rene Headbanger I actually think the snare sound overall is ok, just some of the faster rolls sound a little crappy. Especially the softer hits.
