Anyone else notice that after Chris Adler used Meinl. The majority of the Metal community jumped on board? I remember Modern Drummer and so many mags never giving Meinl the time of day until Adler made the cover. He did wonders for this brand in metal, As one of the most commercialized metal drummers endorsing them.

I've heard more than enough metal,and I stick to MY opinion.and I left off hoglan as a slip up,and kolias isn't my cup of tea and I don't really enjoy his playing

Yesterday at SepticFlesh's concert he threw me and my friend a Drumstick. It was FUCKED up XD It was destroyed. Also mid-concert he broke one of the tom toms and had to had it replaced. His drumming is on point.

In his own Channel, this song looks more fast on the Double Bass. But this guy is one of the greatest and most creative drummer of extreme metal. Surely the youngest.

Krimh is why I started listening to Septicflesh
I think Meinl makes amazing cymbals, however I can't stand the sound of any of their chinas... a China (especially in extreme metal) has to be like a bomb that explodes when playing it, for accents (really loud, trashy, china sound, no or just small overtones, no long conclusion of the tone), at least for me. These somehow fit no criteria, they just sound "wrong" to me. To each his own tho. Killer Drumming as usual by KRIMH.
Not sure if you've checked out ALL Meinl China's or just this specific one. I agree with you, I don't like the sound caster or the classics custom China's but the byzance brilliant or traditional China's are exactly what you described a China should be. Specifically the 20 inch ones. Also the mb20 20 inch China is a beast too. Check those 3 China's out, I think those 3 blow any other China out the water. I use the 20 inch extra dry for practice and any style of music besides metal. When I play in my metal band I use the mb20 or brilliant 20 inch China.
I checked the mb20 20 inch, the classics custom, the soundcaster (I like the crashes and the splash though, they sound fantastic !) and didn't like them at all. In the byzance series (It'sone of my favorite cymbal series, almost doesn't matter which kind, extra dry or traditional or what have you, however I can't afford them) I liked the small byzance china (guess it was the 14 inch traditional) way more than the big ones (too many overtones for my taste) but they weren't as great as Sabian HH or some Zildjian, so I picked these instead (better sound to me and cheaper). But it all comes down to personal taste, so if the mb20 works for you, great !
