😂 nah you have to become an interceptor. I used to valet for 2 main dealers, trade ins that were supposed to go to auction, get to know the right person no longer go to auction. They get sold no warranty no return. Is what it is.
Think outside the box and don't always think online is the best place for deals.
Not only did you make some good money but you also saved these cars and gave them a new life. Likely they were going to the scrapyard soon if it wasn’t for you. Respect man, great video!
Surely not lucky enough for all of the lower budget cars to be mechanically fine? Love your work mate and something I'd love to do 👍
The first car (the Rav 4) had some engine management gremlins that I had to spend some money getting sorted but honestly the rest were very well behaved with nothing more than routine servicing being done before they left me 👍
@@JohnnyGetsCash I wouldn't be that lucky 🤣 you've got a very keen eye for detail mate and you make them look as good as they possibly can, something I've always wanted to do, being a car lover!
@@mikehudson537 thanks very much. Sometimes it feels like a fool’s errand so it’s great to hear that people appreciate all the extra touches to make the cars just right!
That could've been 8 separate videos style Mat Armstrong and i would've watched all of them you are legend mate not cutting corners at all. Keep up the good work 👍
Thanks! Check out my channel as there are standalone episodes on each vehicle!
Wait wait wait wait… what… do you mean the whole car is £150? Wth how… you can’t just buy a car for a cost of 20 large pizzas with no visible issues , wash it and sell for 10 times more. is this a joke or idk… in what world do you live in?
It's not impossible, maybe his relative or friend sold him the car for a symbolic price and that's it. You can still do this, by buying an older car for 600$ and flipping it to 1200$
Really honorable, high quality work you put in every car. So nice to see.
How long did it take you to flip all those cars?
I want this guy to work on my 2012 T5.1 Caravelle! It’s a great van but looks a little tired in places (but has loads of new mechanical parts, including a new engine). He would do wonders to the rest of it 😍
This video is inspiring. Ive started doing a similar thing but you have given me the inspiration to step it up as youve proved to me its possible.
Could you tell us what filler you use on the bodywork and where you get the right colour paint from?
Keep it up. I'm going to watch the other videos
Also wondering this how he get right collor
@@TotalWarriorLegendsevery car has a paint code. Find the paint code in the manual, boot or doors and match it, harder with a spray can but possible as shown. I’m a mechanic but I do all the cleaning painting and mechanical side like him.
A rav 4 for £150 😂 sure
My heart sank as I saw the Discovery and thought of the your hard earned profit vanishing :o) well done for sorting it
This is the only sort of gambling I go in for…the occasional risky car but when it pays off - what a buzz 😂
Id happily buy a car off you seeing all the work you put into them to make them nice again
Thanks very much!
I'm subscribing JUST because you didn't waste anyone's time with talking infront of the screen 👍
I would rather have someone narrate than have me stare into their face talking about something I'll see them doing.. but IDEALLY!! I'd rather have no talking at all. GREAT VIDEO.
Personnally.. Looks like low-mid range cars are the only ones worth the work. With the higher price so is the cost to repair.
Absolutely brilliant display of grafting your ass off, and making money. Shows you what can be done with hard work, knowledge and a few tools/products.
As others have said, you are the type of person everyone wants to buy a car from 😁👍🏻
Thanks very much!
Spectacular!!! Nice work👍
Them vehicles _gotta_ be worth more than that.....
You can't buy a broken down, gutted rust bucket for under $5k here in US!
You really put your back into these cars mate well done I hope one day you can sit back and watch someone else working for you as hard Your a credit to the industry Bear Hull UK
Johnny has skills (and workshop), works damn hard and makes money. Timeless story 😊
Wow man! You are the complete package, electrical, mechanical, body work etc. Really impressive, subbed! 👍🏼
Thanks very much and thank you for subscribing. I appreciate the support!
I like Ur vid but also Ur honestly and hard work . The buyers would be happy knowing u put that work in... I like this field of work
The difference in the cars once you’ve had at them. That’s motivation enough to get me out there cleaning my own car up a bit!
Amazing job skills+experience+hard work. I just wonder: in what kind of world you can find a Focus ST for 6.000 pounds?😅 I want to move there 😂👍
I could honestly watch these all day, fantastic, very impressive, hopefully you do many more of these!
Thanks very much! Lots more to come!
Well done, it was a pleasure to watch 👍 The transformation of the Toyota Hilux was very impressive
Amazing dude, all this work over 1 month of hard work?
Love the video! Just a small suggestion, I would love you to post a side by side picture of the start and finish of each car so we can see the difference! I bet it's night and day! Keep up the good work"!
B.T.W. LOVED what you done with the pick up. BRAVO!
Awesome video , no time wasting just straight to the point. Obviously pretty talented mechanic/ panel beater but decent results
Wow, best youtube video i saw so far, no talk, just doing what it's in thumbnail 👏 love it, keep doing the good content 👍 😀
Thanks very much!
you have all my respect, you ask a very decent price for the cars you cleanand repair, plus there is work to be done there
Thank You. Simple, Shows The Details & Process. Your gonna start gaining more popularity, I mean its great. 500k views already.
Great video. I liked all the cars, but when you got that Landrover I almost died - those things are money pits - owned one for a while it was just a disaster to keep up that expensive maintenance.
Insane skills in upgrading each car before selling it. I liked
the Toyota transformation the most 👍🏽🍀
Thank you!
Thanks for posting this dude, inspired me to do some body work on my car! I hope you get a million views
Thanks very much!
Awesome mate fair play, the Hilux was the most impressive transformation
Thank you! That was a mountain of work to get the Hilux in that condition but the more i worked on it, the more i felt that it deserved another shot at life so i kept digging deeper until that was the outcome!
Thank you for your hard work and amazing video. This trade was so unfair, Toyota Truck came out badass the Discovery seller got really lucky because he basically owes you extra 2000 for suspension issues and very scratched paint. Thanks again! Have a good one.
That was an interesting trade for sure. In fact it was a bit of a risk but I knew that if I could sort the discoveries issues out I’d be onto a winner and ultimately I was right, I did really well when I sold the discovery and it enabled me to move forward so In the end everyone was happy (although I do still miss that Hilux!)
This is how empires are born . Week done and Good luck for the future
Woops amazing transformation on all vehicles, absolutely brilliant to watch 👌🏻💪🏻🏴
As a portuguese, I can't fathom a decent rav4 for 150 pounds. That would go for at least 2-4 grand here depending on mechanical condition. Nice job man!
U can always buy it and import still cheaper than 4k
I love what you did with all these cars. You gave life at them and back to their previous glorious days. Great content. You got a new subscriber. Greetings from Greece and thanks again for a wonderful video.
Thank you Maria!
You're talented, you've got great attention to detail. You make the cars the best version of themselves with hard work and attention to detail. Hats off to you mate!
Thank you very much
Hard work and attention to detail pay off, well done.
I won't call it flip, is the amount of effort, time and labour you put in. You deserved it!
Wish I had the expertise, location and tools to do what you do effortlessly Johnny
Well done👍
Hilux video was very interesting lot of hard work went into that tired wrecked pick up you bought it back to its best with extra touches
Next time do it like a series from where you are buying and where you are selling and details for all the things you buy and price for each please thank you... You just earned a new subscriber so impressive
Visit my channel and check out my series’Chop To The Top’. This video is a highlight of that series so far where each car has its own episode including all costs / spending breakdown. The process is ongoing so new episodes being added all the time 👍
The most therapeutic part has to be when you jet wash the dirt out of the floor carpet while it's hanging over a fence.
Hi there Johnny. New to your channel. I really like your style . Good to see a no messing around channel . Get the job done and move on . Keep it up up buddy. 😊👍
Thanks very much, glad to have you aboard!
Watching this is just pure bliss! The amount of attention to detail is amazing! Keep it up mate.
I’ve also got a proposition. How much to get my car back to its former glory? Let me know if you are interested cos I know I am! 👍🏽
Thank you, i'm glad you enjoyed it! I am a bit of a stickler for the details, which costs me a lot of time occasionally but in my opinion, if i'm selling a car - it has to be right! RE your car, i do sometimes take on external work preparing cars for sale for customers etc. If you want to drop me a message on instagram with your details, my username is johnny_gets_cash
