I watch the auctions here in Illinois and everything goes for crazy high prices with 200,000 miles and tons of rust. The prices at these auctions where rock bottom for great vehicles. The prices at these auctions is how much stuff would sell for with blown engines here because the body of these trucks are not all rusted out.
And the ford 250 too 5k, I'd remove the police stripes get some oem rims or something similar and sell it for 10k... not a lot of maintenance to do with that one being so new.
Not seeing any real special prices here compared to auctions I have normally dealt with. Thanks for the information. They all need something. The garbage truck though did look like it was a great deal but that's not something I'm familiar with so I don't bother with them. Thanks again 👍 for the information
Great deals there in FL man up here at auctions that stuff is at least twice that with rust. I stopped going years ago couldn't get any deals no money to be made at all

Here in north Georgia people go nuts at auctions. Prices were like that here in the early 2000’s. Now it’s retail plus for less than wholesale quality. That Dakota would have been at least $3500 here.

Omg the atv's for like 300$!! I've been looking for one, and they're all super expensive, even the clapped out ones. The 4x4 V8 Dakota for 1600$ God damn! I would take the ATV and put it in the bed of the Dakota, lol. With a bit of work, you can have something really nice. Also, i'm very surprised that most of the vehicles there starts right up! Obviously they need work, but still.

Must be nice to attend public auctions where people don't lose their mind on every vehicle. Every one I've ever been to the vehicles end up selling for more than they would bring in good condition on the used car market.
At first they where shy and the lucky guys got the best deals but then prices started to surge and the people were pushing way above a good deal, they were like '' I don't won't to get back home with empty hands '' Well you now, a good auction can't be a good auction whiouth a bit of jealousness

There is NEVER anything cheap about a ford. With the exception of the quality to begin with. But as far as buying or owning one, nope. NOTHING cheap about one from that point.
As someone who works for a municipality please do not sit there thinking those allllll thosd vehicles are meticulously maintained...they are not. The trucks, yes very well maintained In my opinion. Literally every other vehicle...not so much.
In 2014 we was hiting auctions and getting cars like these for 400 800 and such i bought my first car 275 bucks now same kinda condition cars going in the thousands 😢 yet we make same kinda money 💰 i dont understand how prices have gone up 🤨
They basically gave it away. I honestly didn’t buy it because I know nothing about them. Also it would have been more expensive to have it towed to my property over an hour away.
I would do that, but whoever was bidding would have to send their max bid before the auction begins and if it goes over their max I’d send it back. But people get weird with money so idk. That would be interesting🤔

Since it’s like a government auction I might be wrong but I think the reason is since some of these are gov owned they don’t have a set goal the seller wants so they can go down or up
