Revisiting some of my favourites. I had only picked crochet back up again last time I made these squares about 6 years ago. I'm going to cover canvas tote bags with them. Thank you for your excellent tutorials.
Bought Crystals kit from Mary Maxim. Using the tutorial for the blocks. I stopped at the DC row so that my block measures 12” like the pattern says. This was fun!!! Now 19 more blocks to go 😂😂😂

Gonna do this into a poncho i think. So much better than the ordinary grannys. I have my 1st lot of ice yarn and this is perfect for it. Just fingers crossed i have enough for the poncho. Tyfs its beautiful.

re watching , got more of these to make until I have the afghan finished . I try to keep up but wow with the kids, grandkids and now great grands my hands do not move as fast as they use to move. I truly love your videos and you keep me company with every one of them that you make.

I made this with the shawl in a ball used a 5.00 mm to start but it got a bit wavy then hanged to a 4.25 mm I posted pics on the Facebook page I will be making this as the back panel of a ladies cardigan. Thank you for showing it every step of the way. Great video!

Hi, Ms. Crystal! This pattern looks so elegant! I just wanted to know halving the number of stitches for the entire project will halve the size of the entire square, from 13 inches to 6.5 inches. Thanks! I have my Spring Family Gift Galore session coming up, and I'd like to make these for everyone.

I made mine with red heart ombre, category 4, yarn as and an H hook. It's a little bigger, but I'm making a quilt with mine so bigger is better for me. Lol

Making puff stitches is VERY hard for me! It takes me forever to make one successfully; I have trouble pulling the hook through all of the loops without the hook getting “caught” on the loops.
