    FAQs??
-How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
-How much yarn do I need?
Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.
    -What equipment do you use?

For over 40 years my mother tried to teach me how to do a “ granny square” but I just couldn’t get it( I’m left handed and she was right handed)... she passed away last year and I made up my mind I would learn how to do this one way or another, thanks to you I have now learned how and am making my 2nd blanket ! I watch you go thought the steps, the listen to your instructions, pause the video, then try it, rewind and watch again to make sure I’m getting the correct steps... works for my left handed brain!!!! So thank you so much for helping me fulfill a life long dream of doing a blanket like my mother!!!!

Gladly I have mastered the square but still use this video to dip into to remind me how to finish a certain row or start up a next row etc... I have done my own diagram now which is a great point of reference. Hi! I'm a retired man and although I've been knitting for years, I've finally got the hang of crochet. I've made several amigurumi and a Krampus hat (that's worth investigating!) but this video has finally helped me understand granny squares. It was the corners that gave me grief. I understand now. Thank you.

I’ve been trying to learn for years! I’ve had my dad show me, watched other RUclips vids! And this is the first one where I’ve actually got it!!! I made a little blanket for my daughters dolly (wrong mind as I got excited and carried on without watching it all!) but I did it! And even changed colours myself too! :) so thank you!

So glad I came across your video, my grandma has been trying to learn how to crochet for a while now but she has been getting really frustrated with it as she's been struggling to get her head around it, so I thought I'd try and learn how to do it myself so I can help her. You made it so easy to understand. So hopefully now I can help my grandma achieve her goal of making a blanket for my little sister for Christmas. I've always thought it sounded really hard so never really tried and my autism makes it difficult to understand things sometimes but this video made it so easy to learn, i picked it up so fast. Thank you so much.

I love how you start from the very beginning in every tutorial. your instruction is slow and detailed wonderfully. I'm refreshing on the very basic stitches that a baby sitter taught me when I was about 9 or 10 and learning new stitches from you. my baby sitter taught me what you're referring to as single stitch and double stitch. I think she was teaching me the UK way. I've always assumed that it was the US way. your instructions are perfect for anyone to understand and apply. you're a really fantastic teacher. thank you for teaching crochet in such a wonderful manner

My mum has always wanted to learn how to crochet but never figured it out. 10 years later and many failed crochet kits from both my mum and myself, I stumbled across this video.
