Thanks, this was sjper helpful and understandable. For some reason, thr fact that you used yourself for the "bad" examples made it feel a lot more trustworthy and made more sense. I think a lot of surfers are afraid to ever show their surfing in a bad light
This channel is really undervalued. The fact you use video analysis with different levels is super useful for anyone learning. Just curious: if you were to suggest a progression through manoeuvres, what will it look like? Let's say I can popup and go straight to the beach and/or down the line. Then what someone should start looking into? Bottom to top turn? Cutbacks? Speed flow? Thanks again, Best!
Thanks for your feedback. I’d say good progression is to get into a good controlled position on the board, then keep a high line for speed and learning to generate extra speed, and then learning small cutbacks/ change of direction and then adding bottom turns into cutbacks and from there learning to draw longer lines in the pocket etc etc 🙌😊

@@shannonainsliesurf thanks for taking the time into answering this. I'll try these out in the next sessions. 👋
Cutbacks at a 5/6 ft Nahoon Reef were my favourites
Yes great place for big cutbacks!
