Thank you dr Li, you are my fav health authority, have both your books, love your presentation and valuable info you share with all of us, but most of all, I value the fact that all you are saying is backed up with pure science, no hocus pocus statements and convictions that made so much damage out there, I know, been there, done that. Please continue to share your wisdom and knowledge with all of us.❤❤❤
Good morning, Dr. Williams. Thank you for the invaluable information you share through your videos. I’ve purchased both of your books (audio versions), and I listen to them repeatedly, learning so much about how to use food to improve my family’s health and my own. I’ve incorporated many of your suggestions into my daily routine-I now cook my own meals, make kefir, and prepare other fermented foods. As a type 2 diabetic, I’ve seen a significant improvement in my numbers, dropping from 6.8 to 5.7, simply by eating the right foods in the right amounts and at the right times. I listen to you almost daily. Thank you again, from the bottom of my heart.
Dr William, you are gifted. You speak clearly and fluently. You make things simple and use analogies to explain the complexity of the human physiology. I have yet to hear a white man do a better job than you do as a doctor. Thank you for your invaluable service to us.
So-called "race" (a concept dismissed by science anyway) has nothing to do with expertise or otherwise. Dr. Li is American. Don't confuse ancestry with culture.
Is there an optimal time to walk to help you sleep better? My sleep is horrible for 3 reasons: -need to urinate -pain wakes me up and I can’t get back to sleep >>just changing position doesn’t help me get back to sleep because then -post nasal drip chokes me and forces me to get up to spit out the phlegm.
I’m 42 years old, I am 166 cm, but my weight is 72.5 kg. I’m Asian, I was 55 kg when I was 20, it seems I gain 1 kg every year for the last 20 years. I have been doing intermittent fasting for 1 year (18-6). I only do exercise one a week. Not on any diet like Keto or Vegan….I am struggling to loose weight….😢
Well my question to that is, how incapable of walking is the person? If the person can stand, and if the person is under 350 pounds, then a trampoline/rebounder is a good option because it has a bar to hold on to, and if you stand on it and just Shimmy, you can strengthen muscles until you can move better. Over time, you can do more. If you can’t stand at all, then I don’t know.
@bonibarker6899 I have this issue as well. Dr. Gretchen Hawley has loads of YT videos on exercises while in a chair, aerobic exercise using arms and more. I've followed her for a few years now. All the best in finding helpful exercises for your needs.
The best way to introduce more walking into your life is to get rid of your car. When you don't have one, you just have to walk a lot more. Cars cause environmental car-nage anyway and kill 1.3 million people a year just in crashes. It might be a bit difficult if you live in the US, which worships automobiles and frequently provides very poor public transit, but maybe you could car-share. Anyway, it sure works for me. I'm the same weight I was when I was 15, and I'm 71 with strong legs and a fair bit of stamina--and no varicose veins!

Dr. Li, can we get these benefits from any form of exercise (ex. riding a stationary bike)? Or are they specific to walking?
That's great! I am in a wheelchair any suggestions for me?

Dr Li, what do you think of Chen Taichi as an exercise?
Willing for walk is essential.
Any suggestions on movements that mimic walking when you are not physically able to walk?

An hour of walking only burns 200kcal tops.
the BUG IS CRAWLING ON YOUR CAMERA LENSE AT 17 MINUTE.
Maybe it was interested in the talk. If a bug wants to improve its health, who are we to interfere?
