I read that adding some vinegar to the broth liquid helps extract more minerals from the bone. Many of the web sites that explain how to make bone broth add this instruction ... Dr. Wil should also mention this step.

Apparently the '60,000 miles (100,000km) of blood vessels' is something people have been quoting for decades. It's based on an overblown estimate made in the 1920's. Very recent research now indicates there are between 9- 20,000km. Still a lot but only 20% at most.
Bit lengthy but still good information. I drink lamb feet bone broth daily as it has more collagen specially after opening my 24 long dry fast, good for the gut.

Dr Jason fung said that if we want to reverse diabetes, then do not eat fruits either, except little berries. He said fructose in fruits isn't healthy for diabetics.
Dr Jason Fung is a good physician and nephrologist, but I think it is important not to forget some important facts. All Dieticians and Nutritionists and most Doctors recommends fruits, because they have fiber, vitamins, antioxidants related to longevity and really good things to stay healthy and even to prevent cancers. Just a look at humans' hands, body, faces, is a good reminder that we are part of the primate group, and what all primates have in common? They all eat fruits.

Thank you...nice day❤
I never knew the fact that collagen helps MAKE more collagen. Always wondered about the controversy of eating it to actually add to the collagen in the body. I just LOVE your science twist to all this nutrition knowledge. What I’ve wanted to hear for decades!!! Thank you for all this! And, 😂😂😂 “…whether I use Grown up spinach vs the baby spinach!” Love it!!!😂😂😂
Great video. Thank you for all the info. It is very useful and interesting. You are a good lecturer

Thanks Dr. From Alberta Canada
I read that adding some vinegar to the broth liquid helps extract more minerals from the bone. Many of the web sites that explain how to make bone broth add this instruction ... Dr. Wil should also mention this step.
Heard same
He didn’t mention vinegar coz it’s acidic specially the white distilled vinegar. In this video he said to simmer it to get more collagen from the bones.
Wow Many thanks for this educational information Dr. Li ! I love your content which you bring down to our level of understanding 💕😘🥰👌👏!
Great concept vibrant longevity - ♥️♥️♥️
Great video. For the pineapple, I have a pineapple core remover and it works great. No mess and you can core it in seconds. Just a little tip.
@@Sandy-s6w don’t forget to eat at least some of the core. It has the most bromeliad of the entire 🍍- so useful for anti-inflammation, and boosting bone density
@@audreyfischer8662it's high in sugar for diabetes right?
@ typo correction: bromelain (not bromelaid)
Thank you, Dr. Li.
Thank you for your knowledge and wisdom ❤ That would be so more awesome if you split your video into parts with titles ❤please
Good Morning from Chicago!!! Love your videos
@@roxiemonroe7723 Hi! I’m a Chicago gal too!

I am Malaysia. Thank Dr. William Li
Dr Li, you r a blessing!! Your info is SO AWESOME and sooo inspiring and life saving and important ❣️❣️🌟🌟Thank you!
Dr. Li,
I read your book twice. But, listening to your videos reinforces me again. The science you bring nails it. I am 77 years young. Juicing in my 20s full time then got swayed. Have read all the books. Thank you! I understand and appreciate your scientific approach. Don't agree on bone broth but I'm a vegan who eats fish. Is there an alternative for me. Of course, I'm doing 1 through 4. Stay young,
Bobbie Gilbertson
If you eat fish you're certainly not a vegan.
You can say you’re a vegetarian who eats fish. There’s a marine collagen available .
Then you are a Pescatarian. You are not vegan. Vegans won't even eat honey because it is made by bees!
You can boil the skin and make tea which has lots of vitamins and minerals in it it. 31:57
Thank you so, so much for this chanel Dr. Li!! Your video is awesome!! God bless you!
Thank you so much!. Great tips with gelo
Thank you Dr Li! I love learning from you!!
Apparently the '60,000 miles (100,000km) of blood vessels' is something people have been quoting for decades. It's based on an overblown estimate made in the 1920's. Very recent research now indicates there are between 9- 20,000km. Still a lot but only 20% at most.
Will definitely try. Thank you
Bit lengthy but still good information. I drink lamb feet bone broth daily as it has more collagen specially after opening my 24 long dry fast, good for the gut.
Good morning from South Carolina USA!
Thank you Dr. Li! 💙💙💙
Your metaphors and cooking tips make nutrition so appealing. I'm curious about the damages of oxalates and hope at one point this topic is discussed. When I hear about kale, kiwi and higher oxalate food I'm concerned. Thanks fornall your videos
Oxalate scare is way for scammer to make money
Seldom a real problem
Listen to Li
Just in time I have sprained my ankle grade three injury thank you for sharing this information and knowledge from Johannesburg South Africa 🇿🇦👍
Love the science geek references, keep em coming.
Greetings from manila philippines, thanks for your very informative sources
If we want to get much vit C from tomatoes, then eat them fresh. When we cook them in olive oil, we get more lycopene, but less vit C.
I agree! That’s why I eat 🍅 nearly daily 2 different ways: fresh & also lightly cooked with Kosterina extra virgin olive oil made with 100% Koroneiki Greek olives because if it’s super high antioxidant content.
Great educational content on collagen! One excellent source not mentioned in the list is pig skin, which contains significantly higher collagen levels compared to bone broth.
Thank you so much for your helpful information. ❤
At 9:45, he is talking about the aortic valve. I had an operation for aortic stenosis it was with a top Hospital in New York City. The doctor said that the valve was calcified. After finding doctors like Dr. Li, I wonder if I would have had that problem if I had taken D3 and K2 supplements.
You just brought me back 60 years by reminding me of the can of fruit cocktail thrown into Jello or mom would cut bananas into it. Crazy 😂 thanks for sharing all your expertise. Love from Wisconsin. ❤
Thank you so much Dr. Lee!
Absolutely enlightening. Thank you.
Great information thank you Doctor! Cant wait to try the recipes!

Pineapples DO NOT grow on trees! They are a bromeliad and grow on the ground.
Love all tour videos!!!
I've added unflavored gelatin to my smoothies in the past. Think I'll start again.
@NellyPearly I eat some fruits, small portions. They give me energy and make me feel good. But if I eat too much, then I feel tired, spacy. Know that fruits nowadays are man made to be bigger and sweeter. Thanks.
Yep
@@NellyPearly However if you have diabetes, lay off the sugary fruit. It's still sugar.
@@ThuLe-eh1xe You make a point, those strawberries I see in the supermarket are triple the size of the wild strawberries we pick in the fields around here.
