How I wish I knew you years ago when I began experimenting with healing foods despite my doctors’ rage and labels. You are a treasure Dr. Li. I would like to bring my 7,500 subscribers your data consistently
Dr. Li, thank for always sharing your knowledge and keeping your videos informative. It is motivating to learn the details that you share. Thank you again
Oooohhh Another great video for our health & weight management. I have come to love carrots after my 6 months weight loss journey. They taste like candy to me now 🥰 Thank you for doing this talk because I’m at a plateau and need to lose another 30 pounds. Yes I’m exercising (mini trampoline aerobics, 60 minutes per day).
Thank you very much Dr LI for this kind of synthetic video presentations focussed on a type of disease and gathering all the information about the helpful foods ! Please continue the good work. I do have your two books too, very nice job. Thank you.
Star anis: I have used star anis a couple of years ago in making apricot jam. It gave it a lovely, but subtle licrocy taste. The crazy thing is that today, at least 2 years after making the jam, it is still good to eat! No mould or anything and the taste is just as good as on day one. So it actually also has a strong preserving effect. ❤️
Hey doc, any spice, u r saying it’s from china! We know ur love fr china, but, peppercorn is native to India; however, the vines are grown in nearly every tropical region, including Vietnam, Brazil, China, and Indonesia‼️ (from google)
Got pot of 3 beans soaking right now; cannellini, pinto & black. Going into turkey and purple sweet potato chili with lots and lots of our special homemade chili powder!
For vegans out there a tofu scramble made with tumeric, black salt, and nutritional yeast is great. I also add onions and tomato but you can add whatever you like. I also like a handful of kale wilted in it.😋
You are amazing !!! This information you share is so valuable. What a treasure you are. Thank you ! I have a question. I have a tendency to kidney stones and also I have very painful osteo arthritis. I always used curcumin but I was told that it's not good for kidney stones as it's high in oxalates. Do you think i could still use curcumin.
I'm eating garbanzo dosa wth carrot chilli turmeric hing cumin..as carminative additives N we soak day b4. In my community theres a bean fr every day of the week!. Chana fr Friday.. horse gram fr Saturday. Etc..n pigeon pea is India's national dal. Every 1 shlurps dal here it's our background radiation.
Dr. Li, What is your opinion on consuming glycated proteins and the AGE's that form when food is cooked at a temperature greater than 212° F? Must I give up my nicely browned steak, even toast? Thank you.

Add some pistachios when the carrots are almost roasted. Put them back in the oven for a few minutes to toast the pistachios. Yummy.

Yes. Search online for recipes.
Do you only soak dry beans or also canned beans?
I WISH I'D GOTTEN YOUR TASTY LECTURES 15 YEARS AGO.
If i cant stand food that is too spicy will i get stronger fire up signal that fires up more brown fat and be able to burn more harmful fats?

What about lectins in beans that i have heard are not good for us??
Lectins help to fight cancer. Dr Gundry needs to admit he was wrong.

Unfortunately I dont eat anything that is spicy. My nose immediately starts to run, and my taste buds refuse to taste what I'm eating. I've given up even trying to eat spicy foods.
Okay. I will make up for you by eating some extra spicy food. Sorry but you don’t know what you’re missing.
I am an 85 year old Indian. I eat moderately spicy food and non spicy food too. Whatever I eat my nose runs I sit prepared with a napkin. No problem.
