Thanks a lot Les! That was what I was waiting for! Got the miniFCU a few weeks ago but I never could use it because I am a BushDiver, not an Airliner. :)
Yeah it’s got lots of possibility now that it is configurable.

Great video. Will following these steps allow the MiniFCU to work with all third-party Airbus aircraft (Fenix, Headwind, LVFR, etc)? If so, does the HDG/TRK interface need any changes since you would want TRK instead of the NAV CRS stuff?
There are a bunch of "online snippets" for multiple different Airplane configurations now. Not just for Airbus... you can configure it to do what ever you like.
Hello Les O´Reilly, good day, I was trying to configure SPAD.next with Minicockpit FCU as you explain in the video but in Discord HARDWARE I do not see hw-minicockpit, to download the software.
You have to link your License to access those channels. If you don't have a license then you can still use it with the "standard" firmware to verify that it does work and then link your license after purchase of spad.
Yes, I have the SPAD.Next license. I don't know if you are referring to this license?

I just purchased the home version. I can't find the firmware thing on the discord page! Thanks for the helpful tutorial vid.
You have to link your license on the discord to get access to the correct channels. Too much spam bots so they blocked non users to a trial channel only.

Thanks for the instruction. When trying to add minifcu into spad.next, I could not find the 'panel setting' in the left icon list. It directly goes to 'Control' from "profiles' instead of 'Panel'. Could you guide me how to bring the 'Panel' on? Thank you
Then it’s not adding in Spad. You have to add the device to the serial tab exit and relaunch. If something else like the original MiniFCU software is running then it will already have the port under control.

You have link your license to get other channel.
SPAD works for me in conjunction with miniFCU. Unfortunately, the miniFCU no longer works properly with the FBW A320. Is there a way to reverse the process?
Just use a snippet for the FBW. Few people have published them. If you don’t want to use spad then the original firmware was in the download of the installer from minicockpit.
Thanks. I renews Spad.next licence, but on Discord, i just see #show-your-rig on HARDWARE folder. Do you know what's the problem ? How can i dl this firmware ?
you need to LINK your license .. go to the welcome channel and follow the instructions.

Hi Les, please can SpadNext switch between profiles? I have a minifcu and use it primarily for Fenix, but I would also like to try the PMDG 777. I'm looking for some simple way to switch between them. Thank you.
Yes that is one of the features. You make a profile per plane then import device snippets from online database others have shared - or just make your own device configurations.
You link planes to profiles and when you switch planes Spad auto switches the profile

Note there is a 14 Day trial that they offer so you can download and run it for 14 days and then get sorted out.

Oiyaa les O'Reilly the matter i live in Indonesia so if me order the mini fcu how about the delivery to my country. Is it using extra cost buy it ?
I would have no idea. You would need to go to the miniFCU website and see what it costs. But they ship from HKG so probably better.
does anybody have the spad_next link that has the miniFCU ino hex file. I went to the discord page and under hardware, it just people showing their rigs and setups. nothing else. May I ask for assistance please?
Link your license to get access to the channels where it is stored.

@@David-gf1py you go to the welcome channel when you joined and it tells you to go to the Botchannel and send !link followed by a space and your order ID number which will link the license to the discord user

I can’t get the numbers on the device to work. They always show 000 000 00000. Ive used different snipets but no difference.

I’m using fenix a320 in msfs2020
FENIX does not allow exporting of the Values of the FCU or other parts .. As Per the EULA they have. Maybe if they get that sorted out with ProSim to be allowed to do it. There are ways to do it but that would mean breaking the EULA and I am not going down that path. I have not purchased the Fenix because of their EULA stating it can not be done.

You have to have a license and be linked in the discord - as per the video explaining that.
Does anyone got this working with the p3d FS Labs A320 ?
Don’t do P3D anymore. You will have to use data monitor and try to find LVARs or the AVARs that they are using.
@@LesOReilly I found a spreadsheet on the fslabs forum with the control codes for the FCU (all buttons, push&pull). Assuming they're correct, what more do I need to display the correct digits on my miniFCU ? I wouldn't want to buy spadnext before I know I can achieve this
@phoneix035 I am just a user of Spad next. I don’t work for them or get paid by them. Use the 14 day trail and look up what variables are changing in the plane. I don’t have P3D anymore nor did I ever have FSLABS. So I can’t help with what they do for variables. It either A Vars L Vars or they are not exposed.

Well then you need to tell Winwing to supply the support information to spad… if they don’t have documentation then they can write the display.
