A first in the luxury segment, the all-new 10-speed Direct-Shift automatic transmission delivers rapid-fire shift times with lightning-quick intelligence.
Hand-stitched features, hand-selected materials and an obsessive attention to detail come together to create the most expressive Lexus ever built.
Building the double-joint, multilink suspension system from scratch was just the first step to bringing unprecedented performance to reality.
A class-leading driving position, magnesium paddle shifters, LFA-inspired digital performance gauges-every element is engineered to connect the driver to the drive like never before.
Inspired by the digital instrumentation developed for the LFA, the 8.0-inch digital adaptive meter with a moveable interface displays vital performance information, including engine and road speed. The sliding meter is intuitively operated by steering-wheel-mounted controls and changes with the selected drive mode.
An entirely new double-joint multilink suspension system was required to maintain the vehicle's low profile and accommodate the available 21-inch wheels*-while delivering exceptional agility, accuracy and immediate steering response. A Lexus first, die-cast aluminum shock towers weigh almost half as much as steel and provide nearly double the rigidity. Forged aluminum upper and lower arms help reduce unsprung weight.
The LC delivers a high-performance braking system with massive monoblock aluminum six-piston front calipers with two-piece brake rotors and large, high-friction coefficient brake pads* for serious stopping power.

I have this very car in my garage and i still watch these videos every day. The car just captures you. Well it did me.
Well mine is a 22 Coupe IF/TC w/ DHP and everything but the toasted wipers! And i don't have the pop up head washers that i have seen w/ some. But that's not a huge deal i live in the south.
Best review on the LC I’ve seen on RUclips, this fella dose his research.
After watching his videos I decided to buy one here in the UK ahead of of the Beamer 8 series & Merc S coups.

Good video, please keep them coming. This is a great image car for Lexus and shows what they can do. They built a world-class grand touring/sports car that in all probability will be much more reliable than the competitions offerings.

This is such a beautiful car, I sure hope they become affordable used in the next 5-10 years. I actually like the blood red and caramel/saddle brown interiors I've seen in the other LC
Lukas they might tank in value despite Lexus reputation for reliability because most luxury coupe buyers won't go for Lexus over the German cars
Awesome car! It's mostly a luxury sports car rather than a performance car but they really aced the exterior, looks straight out of concept cars just like the BMW i8

I wish you'd covered the center stack--I didn't even see it. I feel like a lot of car review videos get lost in explaining the various functions in the their MFDs, with some exceptions they all do the same thing.

Hey Brock, do you know whether toggling between drive modes (sport s, sport s+) will do any changes to the exhaust valves/note or does it only stiffen up suspension, steering and transmission?

How do you open the door
If you sat in the back, it would give me so much information on the back leg room! Otherwise, great video.
If he got in and positioned the front seat to allow for leg room, no one could get in front and drive the vehicle except maybe a dwarf. The rear seats are useless, they allow the auto insurance to be less because of the 'back seats'.
