I installed this kit to my car ( Skoda kodiaq scout 2.0 tdi ). My engine now is at the stage 1 only program and remapping. On the dynamometer the result was from 190 hp to 239 hp. After the installation the power decreased to 233 hp. Diesel engine doesn’t need a filter like that but only a new clear panel filter
@@RamairFilters Important to make clear, this (or any) air intake kit alone will not increase power at all in a tdi, that's not how diesel engines work. It does look and sound great though, and may complement a remap.
Mine comes today of ramair mines had stage 1 ecu map just put mk5 honeycomb grills on 1.9tdi jetta improved engine temperature and got her booked in for catback de res exaust system from top gear doncaster

it s nothing to your engine. Besides it shoots hot air from the engine compartment into addmision so it does nothing. Induction noise if the hood is closed it s very low.

You won't get any, it's a diesel. Diesels don't have a throttle body that controls volume of air. The power in the diesel engine comes from increased fueling and boost. Not from air like a petrol.... That'd the general consensus.
Would this be an advantage on a MK6 Golf 2.0 TDI with a stage 1? As in, a bit of HP gained/induction sounds? Thanks

That is a clean a3. Any ideas on power gains at all from this kit?
Hi Josh, you can expect anywhere between 10-15% remapped horse power gains, increased throttle response and some more induction noise!
Is it still healthy though with this kit

What’s the diameter of the Maf sensor?
It works for 70mm and 80mm
Is it compatible with 1.9 TDI 105cv?
yes,it is
Where can i order that ?
did you know how much power did you actually get from the new intake ?

@@jamesgolynski2289 Yea but i think at least it makes the engine run smoother because of the better flow of the air ?
