I fitted a dark side kit on mine today and the sound is night and day. A hell of a lot more turbo noise and whoosh’s. It might not get and gains but it looks 1000000x better and the turbo noise is 🥰
i just took my panel filter out, hoovered it and then fitted my ramair to in place of the top cover of the cold air intake (it just clips off), same sound, took me 20 minutes
I was thinking of getting a kit on my VW CC 2.0 GT TDI but I was told there’s no point on installing it on a Diesel it won’t make a difference. After watching the video I totally agree honestly guys come on there isn’t a difference. Much better to get a performance exhaust fitted in along with a whistle blower. That should do the trick!!

I used to be about 4 years ago, moved to Norfolk now. I sometimes come back that way as I have friends in the area though, I also have a Scirocco but in Viper green.
@@efaithxo that’s a lot of power in a small car I had a Tiguan R line 2.0 143 that suffered limp mode after the scandal update and I had that remapped to around 180ish no dyno figure and it was stupidly quick for a big jeep embarrassed many twats 😂

do you not feel as if the filter tip is too far from where the air vents in? if it was closer to the heat shield, I bet it'd suck in a lot more air.

I actually got a dyno before I had my car mapped and it was running 5bhp above standard plus my car is 2013
@@efaithxo VWs usually run higher figures than quoted Even the old 1.9 pd 105 dynos at 110-115 what did your scirocco map to?

Dont get ram air its pointless suffers from heat soak as its open. Racing lines inclosed one is way better for sound and performance
Do you have a link for this air filter? All the ones I find for the TDI say up to 2013 so not sure if they'll fit my 2016..

All tdi engines are same from 2010 to 2020
