Thank you again Beautiful Charlie, I'm SO grateful, because of you I can do a side split again. Thank you so so very much, you are truly amazing. Blessings and love from my heart to yours, namaste 🧘🏼♀️🙏🏻🕉☀️🌻🐞🌻🌸🦋🌸💜💙🩵💚💛🧡💖✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ 30:39
I never comment on videos but i started yoga three months ago after an extemely tough break-up and your videos have given me so much confidence, growth, strength and peace - i just wanted to thank you ❤
Yoga helped me through a miscarriage. It is such a special way to express yourself in movement as well as performing self-care. I hope that your heart is healing well!
Thank you so much sweet Charlie 🙏🏽 I loved these exercises and I’m quite proud to say that I can do the splits at the tender age of 54 😉😁 I’m constantly reminded not to listen to other people’s beliefs in what is possible…whatever the age. We’re far more capable than we think 💪 Wishing you a lovely evening ❤️
I wasn't gonna do it, but I was feeling like stretching my legs just a little bit today, and then I realised you uploaded this 50 minutes ago. I'll take that as a sign lol. Thanks, Charlie! I'm on day 16 of your improvers challenge x
This was a fantastic, targeted strengthening practice. Thank you for reminding us of the value to respect out bodies' limitations - a gateway to respecting self & others.
Hi Charlie. I’ve been doing your yoga classes for about a year now and have decided to use my time this winter to focus on my splits using classes you had previously released so I was very excited to see this. This may be my favorite class yet. I loved all the notes about how to tilt the pelvis to deepen your stretch in different poses. I had also never heard about watching to make sure your knees don’t open out in bridge and always appreciate alignment tips to make sure us home yogis know how to stay safe. I know my splits are still a long ways away but this is a class I will keep coming back to. Thank you for all that you put out into the world to help others. Your work is appreciated dearly.
Thank you for the practice and the wisdom, Charlie. You teach to respect the body, and it's so important. I came up with the thought that when you really know why you're doing this, it's not hard, can be challenging, but not hard, it's a process that you value, the road itself is the matter.
I just found your page about a week ago, and I’m so grateful I did. You are amazing and by far the best instructor I have found here on RUclips. Thank you so much, definitely have your notifications on💗
This class really flew by! Thank you so much for this clear build up towards front splits. The cues were more than "on point", really! Front splits stays a challenge for me, but I love working towards stronger and more flexible hammies 😊. Also loved the gorgeous view! 🩷
Loved this! I appreciated all the suggestions concerning box placement. That really helped. I did the splits programs, both the 4 and 6 week, during the summer. Boy was that an eye opener! I found muscles I never knew I had. I wondered after 3 months off from the program (but still doing your RUclips yoga classes 3-4 times a week) what today would look like, but my 50 yr old body surprised me. I didn’t lose any strength and very little flexibility. Thank you Charlie!
I love doing the splits. This was fantastic! I just started following you and honestly I’m loving everything I’m learning from you and thank you so very very much. I regularly go to a yoga class and I don’t feel challenged very often so this is great. Thanks again! 🙏
Thank you so much for the weekly practices. This is so helpful and motivating. No need to scroll through endless videos trying to figure out which one to complete today ❤😊
I working on splits. I really appreciate the quality that you provide in your practices. Integrity is a great way to describe it, just as you did at the end. Your instruction for proper and safe technique is greatly appreciated! I don’t want to be set back by a preventable injury.
Thanks Charlie for this gentle introduction to a pose that I've always avoided before. I realised that it's the benefit from trying that counts and not the goal.
Great practice, thank you!❤❤❤ Under your guidance I am now, at 51, closer to side split then ever - and in a safe way (some 20 years ago I hurt myself trying, so now I am careful and really listen to my body). One side is way better, but it has always been like that - and progress is noticeable on the less flexible side too.🎉
This was so incredibly helpful! I’ve been struggling to get my splits for years and this will really help thank you! Your videos are amazing I just love your channel ❤️ I’ve been wanting to work towards my handstand from the ground but don’t know where to start, I would find it so helpful if you would post a video on what to work on.
That was great! My left side is more flexible than my right, but I was accepting and appreciative of my body (as you suggested) and feel great about my progress. Yoga On! Thank you Charlie ❤
Hey! This was a great way to work out some of the smaller details of what to do between 1/2 splits and full. Also- the working up to the splits was a nice way to condition tonight. (although at a-beginner or improvers pace, I am 100% pro- micro break downs like this for beginners or people who have never/rarely done a particular pose like this one - the dreaded front splits!! 👿 ) I wish the online instructor I found first had done personable, yet straightforward no nonsense videos like this! She was great… spent ALOT of time in the beginning (up to 8-10 minutes seated criss cross applesauce or kneeling. Know your audience. Ouch ) sitting and sort of going on a tangent about spiritual and emotional growth and awakening from yoga. 🧘♀️. At the time I needed some of it. But not all the time. The constant tangents for stories. Jokes. Or working through how to describe the body position was exhausting. And she’s not the only one like this!!!! I hope a lot of new yogis are born from these new classes and 30 days
This was a great practice. I found it a bit challenging in doing the half split postures. As you mentioned, Charlie, we have to respect the limitations of our bodies 🙏🏻🧘♂️
In my 60s and determined to be able to get these splits down completely to the floor….oooo so close but like you explained respect where you are now and limitations. I will not give up. ❤🌞❤
We Love Charlie. Dearest Charlie Also this session one of my favourites. Just great pace and great sequencing to get to the Asana . My body sends so much love and gratitude. We surely did make some space today. Oh how love yoga and bless the yoga teachers across all timelines for gift of yoga. I Am grateful Dear Charlie. Love and blessings 🌺💕👌🙏❤️🌹🌻
Grateful for this practice💖 (fun fact: I was just wondering the other day if I should comment whether or not you could make a practice for front splits 😄 Thank you for reading my mind!)
I’m 68 next week (didn’t start yoga til I was 60) and I’m beginning to think I won’t be doing the splits in this life time 😂😂 but I’m close! I’m also trying to strengthen my legs and core to do a straddle lift handstand (can do one on my head). Have a tutorial on how to do that? Thanks for this practice. I love them all ❤🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽❤️
25:41 For me trying to accomplish all three of these enhancements at the same time was too much: 1) "Edge the back foot further down the mat." 2) "Flex the front foot." and 3) "Straighten the [front] leg." Any of those changes on its own is challenging enough for me, so for me and others who are trying to learn splits for the first time, I think it would be better to allow a moment to adjust between each, rather than trying to manage all three in rapid succession, practically simultaneously. Also, I'm curious about the logic of practicing standing splits before grounded ones. To me the former seem even more challenging. Are some people able to do standing splits before learning regular splits?
Hello friends, I hope you enjoy this routine for the splits 💜 let me know how you get on with it

I would love a 30 min routine for handstands! You have an older handstands video I do sometimes, but would love an updated version 💜

Ooo! Me too! I’m 54 and feel I am in the best shape of my life!

I appreciate how you make challenging poses seem more accessible with your gentle cues and encouragement.
Love it! The wrist warm up before weight bearing was a very thoughtful touch and my hips feel so refreshed

Oh Charlie, what a beautiful class. How can getting into splits be so relaxing. Thank you for this very special class.
I am so glad I tried this one! I will have to keep doing it over and over again to become more flexible! Thank you Charlie.
Thanks a tonne Charlie - part of my extended journey to front splits
Thank you so much, Charlie💙 I'm so glad to be here again after a little pause🙌
I working on splits. I really appreciate the quality that you provide in your practices. Integrity is a great way to describe it, just as you did at the end. Your instruction for proper and safe technique is greatly appreciated! I don’t want to be set back by a preventable injury.
I was just looking at split workouts I jumped on your channel randomly and here it is😍😍😍
What a progress I made just from the 1st try!!! Thank you dear Charlie!
Thanks Charlie for this gentle introduction to a pose that I've always avoided before. I realised that it's the benefit from trying that counts and not the goal.
I set myself a Christmas Split Challenge... so this came at exactly the right time for me!😊
It did for me too!!!💗
Your videos just seem to get better and better.
Love this, maybe you can do one for mid splits? Thank you!
Great practice, thank you!❤❤❤ Under your guidance I am now, at 51, closer to side split then ever - and in a safe way (some 20 years ago I hurt myself trying, so now I am careful and really listen to my body). Good day coach, today's challenge was so enjoyable that I repeated this time twice. It was great, thank you coach.

I love this yoga posture. You broke it down perfectly to warm the muscles needed to get into the final split. Thank you!
Great class! I'd love to see more pose workshops like this.
That was great! My left side is more flexible than my right, but I was accepting and appreciative of my body (as you suggested) and feel great about my progress. Yoga On! Thank you Charlie ❤
Enjoyable class as always, a longer class to prep the lower body for the pose.

Thank you, plenty of air under my legs in splits but it's a work in progress.
Thank you Charlie, that felt so good. I love your channel. As a Christian I really appreciate your omission of the eastern religious aspects of yoga.

In my mind, I'm thinking, "I'm doing it! I'm doing it!" In reality, I was not. But, I loved the opening mantra.

It was a great session ❤ But as I'm having knock knee problems so can it be solved by yoga practice... If so please bring a video for the same...
