    I was at that game and I remember how the excitement built through that fourth quarter. After the first touchdown, it was like well we won't get beat so bad. After the second touchdown, it was like this is possible and the crowd started to come alive. After the third touchdown, it was probably the most electric I've ever seen a crowd at a game and I've been to almost every FSU home game since I've been alive. Or in the alternative, have the NCAA call up one of the head coaches and tell him to lose on purpose in regulation. If ending in a tie is so abhorrent to everyone's pee brain. Greatest game ever..I was at my mom's for Thanksgiving dinner.. all of the gator fans were rubbing it in and had stopped watching the game. I told them it wasn't over, they all laughed at me. Then I started yelling... go noles. You should have seen their faces...😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

    TRUE STORY: I was in Grad School and teaching at FSU when this happened. I lived a few hours away, and disgustedly got in my car at the end of the third quarter. When I got to Tallahassee that evening, I was amazed to find that everyone was partying their asses off.

    • @geminiman7791
      @geminiman7791 3 года назад

      @@timothyball742 Hair tackles are legal, because the hair is considered a part of the jersey. If someone had hair going all the way down their back, and you weren't allowed to grab their jersey cause of it being in the way, it would be an unfair advantage.

      Consider until two years later they didn't have Overtime, Bobby Bowden was smart and played for the tie. He's considered by many to be one of the greatest college football coaches ever.

      @goldosprey 8 лет назад +4

      Pozzy Thump Not just that. He took a team that was comparable to Kansas and turned it into a team that can compete with Alabama. His teams along with Tom Osbornes Cornhuskers were arguably the teams of the 90s. Before the conference title games this was a defacto playoff game

    • @aspenrebel
      @aspenrebel 4 года назад

      WTF is that the game ended in a TIE, cuz neither team did enough to win. If it was so imperative to win, for you to have one of the teams win, then I guess you should have called them up on the phone, talked to the head coach, and tell him what to do to WIN!!!
