If you thought FSU was gonna get blown out you were a dummie or an SEC fan or most likely both just like that old man who was commentating. He tried to hide the SEC bias but you could hear it in his voice. I've never heard a more disappointed sounding TD call than the one he did for the game winning TD LOL That first half was so weird, everything Auburn needed to go their way, went their way for whatever reason. Once FSU's receivers were free to run and do what it do it was a wrap, this FSU team was not going to lose this game. Also, the commentator tried to frame it like Auburn was just better on D than anyone FSU saw that year, to paint it like they were getting exposed but in reality Florida's Defensive front was actually by far the most talented defensive front and overall defense FSU played in the 2013 season by far.
also if you didnt know about this game is auburn at the time of this game had a previous coach of florida state and they were basically reading our plays the whole game until fsu started hiding the signals
Well.. most people expected Bama to go to this championship, but Auburn kind of lucked their way into it. I'm not talking about just the Kick 6, but also the Georgia game where a lucky bounce landed a ball in a receiver's hands and they ran in to win Most people thought Bama was the best team that year and if that Auburn game had gone into OT, they would have won that game. Would Bama have beat FSU? Dunno, FSU was really good and stacked with future pros
Either I forgot how bad Winston performed, or the last decade took away what use to look magical. Has any Heisman winning QB played worse in a national title game?
@@pensacolapackbuster4514Michigan state had probably the most dominant defense in the country in 2013. Auburn only made it to this game because of how many miracles throughout the season. MSU wins this game against either opponent easily
@@steven8955 don’t know why you’re replying after 1 year, but fsu statistically had the best offense and defense in the country that year with 20 of 22 starters drafted including 11 first rounders. You’re high if you think msu wins that
@@pensacolapackbuster4514 you don’t know why I replied after a year yet you responded after 4? I guess that right there tells me why you can’t understand that Florida st would have been beaten by MSU after they squeaked by an ungodly lucky Auburn team and also boasted one of the easiest schedules of the season. How many teams did they play that finished the season with less that 6 wins hell even less than 5 because I remember Florida wake forest Idaho on there and Bethune cookman (I don’t know there record but they are FCS so that’s a cupcake already)
Choke? Nah fam it wasn't a choke it was real deal comeback. Auburn was MUGGING FSU's receivers the whole first half, Auburn was HOLDING the D-line the first half, Auburn got a real generous 1st down to extend one of their drives, gifted a bullshit Personal foul against #20 of FSU. EVERYTHING went Auburns way in the 1st half EVERYTHING that Auburn needed to happen, happened in the first half. You see on that final scoring drive their corners were getting lit up for Pass interference, they could not stick Rashard Green, not without clinging to him illegally. FSU came back when the calls were even, but Auburn stacked a lead off the madness. This FSU team was at least 2 TD's better than what they played. FSU had the best passing game in the nation but it was dead the fist half and it wasn't because Auburns secondary was so great because they weren't at all, once the PI stopped, FSU's receivers dogged their secondary.
They were stealing FSU's signals. Craig, the Auburn assistant had been at FSU and was familiar with the signals. The FSU players told Fisher and once the second half started, they covered their signals. That's why Auburn knew what FSU was going to do next.
one of the best nat'l title games ever. very underrated game
Forgot how good this game was
Why were the announcers so lame😂
Wait a national championship that didn't end 65-7?

Last bcs ?
In hindsight, Michigan State should've played FSU in this game, not Auburn.
I woulda preferred that Michigan state woulda got killed 😂

Awesome to know #13 for the Noles' defense is Jalen Ramsey 🍢🍢
How did auburn choke this bad they could’ve blown out fsu 😭
They didn’t Choke, FSU just had to stop playing wit em.
