  • This is very simple project but very versatile - You invest a little bit of time at the beginning to learn how to knit a big rug for yourself, and not only you can create smaller projects like knitting coasters, but also make knitting your source of income - simply by selling the items you have made, or even better - making them to order!
So enjoy the process of this video, memorise it, and if you don't remember something you can always come back to this video and watch it again. Remember, it is never too late to learn something and be creative 😉

Can I make a round baby blanket with this stitch

Of course, the stitch is universal, but I’d suggest a different yard material (this one is quite harsh for the baby), and thinner yarn itself

Can you put the number pattern please...i always have wrinkles not perfect

Hi Jennifer, some numbers are in the video, but as from my experience there is no perfect pattern number… Why? Because it also depends on how tight/ loose is the pattern you make. Rope is a live material, it can shrink or expand, so small waves are normal, especially after washing 😅

Do you think you can do this with macrame yarn?

    • @nowaartstudio

You can, but the question is: Do you want to? I mean, its going to be way more time consuming and it won't have the same style and texture as the one I made with a thick yarn. I personally also doubt practicality of a thin macrame yarn (it's perfect for clothing and delicate accessories, but I wouldn't be so sure about the rug), but if you want to use it as a decoration only and going to be careful with it - why not 😃
