As a Bodo speaking Bodo as my mother tongue from Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region, Assam. As being a Khilonjiya Oxomiya (Indigenous Assamese) and also Bodos being regarded as the earliest settlers of assam as it is taught in the universities of assam in history, anthropology and sociology. I believe that I have the privilege to type this comment. This is not a hatred comment for my ethnic-assamese brothers and sisters of assam who speak assamese as their first language. Ahoms spoke Tai-ahom and Tai-ahom was their court language not assamese. Assamese originated from old Prakrit but eventually became sanskritised language and lingua franca of Assam only after brahminisation by brahmins from Orissa or mainland India during the late periods of the Ahom dynasty or even as late as early 19th century. Learned assamese people generally knows about this. Anyway, just for the facts. How Bodos are the first settlers of Assam ?! Generally, Bodos as a people from mongoloid race are supposedly considered to have settled in assam atleast 7000 years ago from being nomadic people north of the himalayas from mongolia, china and tibet into agrarian based tribe into plains and valleys of Assam. Bodos or Boro-Kacharis, a plain tribe and the Dimasas or Dimasa-Kacharis, a hill tribe of assam speaking linguistically similar Sino-tibetan languages Bodo and Dimasa, respectively doesn't like glorifying much about the Ahoms because they are regarded as invaders in both the history of the Bodos and the Dimasas having been people related to the kachari kingdom. Also Kacharis are also mentioned as Kiratas in ancient Hindu texts. Ahoms are generally taken as invaders who came from Yunan, China and later ruled assam by both the Bodos and the Dimasas. The Kacharis already had an established dynasty in Assam with capital Dimapur, presently in Nagaland before the Ahoms came in Assam. Dimapur is derived from Bodo and Dimasa meaning City above the large water/river and even believe to derived mythologicaly to be derived from the Asura Hidimba and his sister Asuri Hidimbi whom Bhima married in the Mahabharata. Ahoms and Kacharis had many clashes. The Kacharis defeated the Ahoms couple of times initially. The ahoms had to offer princesses to the Kachari Kings after the defeat. . However, Ahoms later defeated the Kacharis and sacked Dimapur. The Kachari ruins in dimapur are very much evident even today. After the destruction of Dimapur, the Dimasas had to flee to the hills in middle of Assam. However, they established Dimasa kingdom and dynasty again with capital Maibang and Khaspur in the southern plains of Assam in Barak valley near Silchar. The Bodos on the other hand who claim to be from the earliest ruling clan 'Bodosa' of the kacharis believe to have fled to the northern plains of the Brahmaputra(Burllungbuthur in Bodo) in western assam near the foothills of Bhutan and Arunachal Pradesh and again became a distinctively agrarian based plain tribe differently from the Dimasas. Just like the ahom has Buranjis for their records. The Bodos had deodhai script for the records but it is undeciphered now and sometimes the Ahoms are blamed for the cause. Kalaguru Bishnu Prasad Rabha collected many samples of Deodhai script from Kachari ruin monoliths in dimapur. Everyone knows about Lachit Borphukon in Assam. His statue is built in the Brahmaputra in Guwahati. Only few know about Jwhwlao Dwimalu (Bodo) and Veer Demalik Kemprai (Dimasa), the same chief warrior or army general whose statues are built in Kokrajhar, Bodoland Territorial Region and Haflong, Dima Hasao, respectively. He defeated many neighbouring burmese kingdom armies and brought white elephants as souvenirs. His legacy however sadly ends with tragedy of curses to the tribes or the whole kachari community. His life story is the same in Bodo history and Dimasa history thus believed to be the same person but his historical timeline is little bit controversial among Bodos and Dimasas. Jwhwlao Dwimalu was from 8th century as mentioned in the statue in kokrajhar according to the bodos and Veer Demalik Kemprai from early 13th century (1200s) according to the Dimasas. Now here's the scenario, even if latter Veer Demalik Kemprai's lifetime timeline is taken into consideration. It's same time Sukaphaa, the first king of the ahoms came to Assam and established Ahom kingdom in Assam.
Ru dumb? Prakrit comes from Sanskrit itself. If u don't know anything about languages plz don't speak. Assamese is a descendant of prakrit - prakrit is a descendant of Sanskrit...in that sense assamese is considered as a descendant of Sanskrit. So what theres left to Sanskritize it. And why so much hate for Sanskrit? You r talking like the student union groups of assam who opposed Sanskrit in schools. The so called ‘Jatiobadis'. According to them even the official language of assam is assamese irrespective of the tribes they belong. Now being an Assamese myself i support bodo language for the bodo community. Now how can u considered yourself assamese if u don't considered it as your mother tongue???
@@PHOENIX-ff5fl Prakrit is older than Sanskrit and Sanskrit is older than Assamese. I am indigenous assamese as a Bodo and linguistically my parents taught me Bodo as my first language and my mother tongue. Only Assamese who speak Assamese as their mother tongue/First Language are Assamese or what? Bodo is associate official language of Assam and one of 22 scheduled languages of India.
@@girirajbrahma597 prakrit is older than Sanskrit!!!!!🤣🤣🤣 In which planet u r living man. Go n search in net ‘ the oldest language in this planet'. And how u can be a assamese by not speaking assamese 🤦. Its like a Telugu speaking person is claiming himself to be a tamilian. Your only identity is Bodo not Assamese.
I have no hatred for any languages. I support every forms of education and learning in any language. Be it Sanskrit, Hindi, Bodo, Assamese, English, Bengali, Mandarin, etc. etc.

In this context, it is to mention that when a branch of great Tai race i,e. Tai-Ahom is recommended for the inclusion in the ST list by Tarun Gogoi, the other branch of the same race i,e. Mee-Tai (Meitei) has not been recommended by the Chief Minister of Manipur.
Therefore, I, on behalf of STDCM request the Chief Minister of Manipur Shri. Okram Ibobi Singh to recommend the Meiteis for the inclusion in ST (Scheduled Tribe) list of the Government of India as early as possible in the interest of the Meiteis.
It is incredibly beautiful👌👌👌👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😊
We all indegeneous people of NE are the descendents of the same ancestors. There are ahoms in arunachal too.
We are one
We are NE Indians
We are mongoloids
😍😍😍
In the history of northeast India varman dynasty to Mech or Ahom or Koch-Mech or kachari or Sutia or Tripura or Manipuri all Kings were Non-Aryan mongoloid who are rulled thousand of years but lahe lahe it is reversing. That's way mainland indians don't teah history of northeast.
@@saanjanibaar8085 ...yes bro ye wahi log hai jisne almost whole india ko capture karne k bad bhi ahom kingdom ko defeat nhi kr paya.ahom sena always destroy Mughals total 17 times.dekho bhai fir bhi indian history m kuch khas jagah nhi mila unko.
@@saanjanibaar8085 Lol Varmans were mongoloid?🤣🤣🤣🤣This guy have a disease of claiming everyone to be something so called ‘ mongoloid'. Even Koch kingdom was not totally mongoloid. I dont like to use the term aryan because its brings the bogus Aryan Dravidian Theory, nor i like to use the word mongoloid. I would more like to say say them indo tibetian . Since most the parts of NE along with parts of bangladesh n bhutan was ruled by ancient Kamrupi rulers n their later descendants ( today's assamese) who were not of indo tibetians race which you people term as mongoloid. For eg- there was a King named Prithu who defeated Bhaktiyar Khilji when khilji tried to conquer NE. So , you shouldn't identify yourself by race.

It is very sad that CBSE has focused only on foreign invaders who ruled India like Mughals, but left history of Odisha, south indian kings, punjab kings and northeastern kings 😠

Thank you for the sister showing our tai ahom cumunity culture. Love form assam I'm ahom cumunity tq fol all
You're actually Kachari and not really Tai Ahom as you don't have Tai blood. Most Tai Ahoms are actually Kachari and don't have Tai blood just like me. Because many Kacharis converted into Tai Ahom in the past because being Ahom was a proud thing. Only the 7 royal Tai Ahom clans still might have Tai blood along with Kachari. Please don't be offended, I am just speaking the truth :)
I miss ahom kingdom 😭😭😭😭😭

Be it Sanskrit, Hindi, Bodo, Assamese, English, Bengali, Mandarin, etc. etc.
@@PHOENIX-ff5fl arey bhai...Prakrit is raw....Sanskrit is standardised....Assamese i can speak it but it is not my 1st language.
